Chapter 67
Chapter 67: Told You I Could Do It
“Cindy, what’s gotten into you?” Her friend who came with her to bully me shook her body lightly, only to earn disgusted look from her.
“Don’t touch me.” Cindy said coldly as she eyed the hands that were grabbing her arm, then straight to her friend’s eyes.
I noticed she trembled slightly as she released her grab on Cindy’s arm and walked back in fear.
I arched my left eyebrow as I watched her behavior. At this moment, I noticed the black mist seemed to be thicker and enveloped Cindy’s body tightly.
Well, I guessed she would lose her consciousness sooner or later.
“Stay back. That’s not Cindy.”
Finally, someone was clever enough to notice that the one who was standing in front of them was not the real Cindy inside.
.....
“What do you mean?” The other started asking.
“If I’m not mistaken, she is possessed.”
Gasp escaped from their lips as Cindy sneered even more hostile towards them, as if she was watching a bunch of fools.
“I’m not coming out no matter what you do.” She said.
“Go away! It’s not your world anymore! Go back to where you came from!”
“No way! I’ve been waiting this moment where her negativity finally reached the right amount for me to possess her!”
“Someone, please help her!” Cindy’s friend shouted for help.
“Call an exorcist!”
“It’s useless! None of them can get me out from this body!” ‘Cindy’ arrogantly said.
It was my first time seeing someone being possessed but almost to the point of being normal. She really didn’t look like she was possessed. Most of the possessed people I knew would either go on a rampage or act like a beast, but I had never seen someone as calm as this one.
If I didn’t know better, I would think that she was just being her normal self.
“Who are you?” asked one of my classmate.
‘Cindy’ sneered again. “You’re not qualified to know my name.”
Right at that time, the lecturer came in a hurry along with one of my classmates. It seemed like he had called the lecturer the moment this chaos was started.
“What is happening here?” The lecturer, Rianti Putri, asked with a frown on her face. Her boyish appearance paired with sharp eyes and stern face could put any boys to shame and because of that, she could easily intimidate anyone.
“Miss Rianti, Cindy got possessed!”
I had no idea who shouted that but he sounded like a terrified little boy instead of a grown up.
Miss Rianti’s sharp eyebrows frowned as she looked at the said girl who got possessed. “Possessed? She looks fine to me.”
A chuckle escaped Cindy’s mouth as she arrogantly crossed her arms in front of her chest.
If I had not known better, I would have thought that she was not possessed, too. But, the black mist proved the opposite to me.
What kind of ghost could possess human like this?
“What are you laughing at?” Miss Rianti asked.
Well, this would take a while. This bantering would get no where. The one inside Cindy needed to be exorcist. I had a bad feeling about how casual it acted even after possessing a human’ s body.
As the bantering went on, I scanned my eyes around me and noticed some other blurred creatures were here. I could not make out their faces but based on their figures, I guessed they looked bad. They were standing beside one of my female classmates who looked terrified.
And their number started to increase as I witnessed another one appeared.
So, it seems like this commotion attracted them. And, if my guess is right, they are actually trying to possess that one girl.
“Woah, it’s so lively here. It even could be heard from my place.” A familiar voice was heard and I saw Kunti floated in with a big excited grin on her face.
I shot her a questioning look when our gaze met, asking what she was doing here.
“Oh, so this is your class.” She exclaimed as she floated towards me. “The negative aura here is thick. That was our source of energy, so no wonder many will come.” Kunti said.
“Also, do you see some of us are here?” I nodded slowly. “They are waiting.” She deliberately paused speaking as she shot me a look. “They are waiting until one of these humans feels weak by all this negative energy and possess them.”
Possess them? Make sense. I nodded slowly as my eyes scanned the expression on my classmates’ faces.
My gaze stopped on one of the girls who was blinking her eyes hard but still looked disoriented. One of the creatures seemed to envelope her back as her eyes were dropping heavily.
It got her!
A sneer was heard and I turned my head to the source of the sneer. My gaze met head-on with Cindy’s gaze and the cold glint flashed in her eyes.
“I won’t be alone.” She said slowly, as if wanting to provoke me.
I raised my eyebrow and sighed. “Do you believe that I am capable of pulling you out and thrash you?” My voice came out so low and indifferent.
After I finished saying that, she burst out laughing, successfully frightened the others.
“YOU?!” She pointed at me mockingly and back to laugh like crazy.
I frowned as the other gazes were focusing on me. This ghost was really testing my patience!
Without waiting for her to finish laughing, I instinctively reached out and grabbed her hand. I pulled hard, but let my fingers slid from her small wrist, not really pulling Cindy. Instead, the black mist came out from her.
“Told you I could do it.” I smirked.
