Chapter 61: This Is Too Sudden
Chapter 61: This Is Too Sudden
"Even though he isn't our enemy he can change anytime and become our enemy. Why aren't you all saying anything?" Fragment of Radiance said as he looked at the other knights who were silent.
"I know why you are afraid of the anomaly. He can kill a monarch in his spiritual state right." When The Brightest Fragment of Brilliant Light said and the air in the room become heavy.
He was right the reason for their uneasiness was because that anomaly can kill souls with his attacks. They have this ability as well but for this ability to be used by a human makes his existence even more dangerous.
"Bu-" just as Fragment of Radiance was about to say.
"Don't talk about this anymore. Have you forgotten our purpose we don't have any more chances so all we can do is wait and believe in our decision to give Humanity the power to survive this war. And that Human already knows the anomaly well he has said that he won't side with the Monarchs. As for the New Shadow Monarch, he is someone The Greatest Fragment of Brilliant Light chose as his successor do you think his choice is wrong. He chose a successor rather than taking over their body like other monarchs shows that he is still a ruler The Greatest Fragment of Brilliant Light that we know of." The Brightest Fragment of Brilliant Light Paused as he looked at the others who were listening to him.
Then he continued.
"I will believe in his decision this time. I don't want to make a mistake again like last time. " he closed his white eyes and some words rang in his ears.
'So this is your decision? I hope you can fulfill your wish, my children.' He saw his creator who was sitting on his throne with swords and spears penetrating his body as he spoke to them before his last moments.
He didn't understand those words before but after a long time, he understood the whole thing. From the reason of their existence to why The Greatest Fragment of Brilliant Light tried to stop them.
'How much did you know Ashborn?' The Brightest Fragment of Brilliant Light thought then he opened his eyes.
"This is the end of this discussion. Now that only two Monarchs are left we have to strengthen the world faster as the time for the final battle is nigh." The Brightest Fragment of Brilliant Light said as everyone nodded and went back to capture more monsters so that they can strengthen earth to the limit before the final battle.

Third Person POV.
Scavenger Guild, Guild master's Office.
"So have you called Hwang Dong-su?" Thomas asked Laura.
"Yes, he is on the way," Laura said
Thomas nodded and looked outside from the window in his office seeing the landscape of Miami in its full glory. After five minutes someone knocked on the door.
KNOCK* KNOCK*
"Come in," Thomas said as he looked at the man that entered through the door.
"Guild master, you wanted to see me?" Hwang Dong-su said respectfully while looking at Thomas.
"Yes, I want to say one thing," Thomas said as went near Dong-su making him look like a kid with his physique towering over him.
"I don't know what your problem with Sung Jin-woo is. And I don't give a fuck about it. All you have to know is that you better stay away from him." Thomas said while looking at Dong-su.
"But he ki-" Just as Dong-su was about to say he felt Thomas looking at him while releasing his mana.
"I don't remember permitting you to speak, and I am not asking for your opinion this is an order. Stay away from Sung Jin-woo or anyone related to him even if that person is a waiter who served him food once. Do you get that?" Thomas said as he looked at Dong-su as he patted his shoulder.
"You should know who his brother is right. No matter what your business was with him it doesn't matter." Thomas said as he saw the hands of Dong-su were trembling just by indirectly mentioning Haru which caused him to smirk.
"Because if you don't listen then I don't need to say anymore right," Thomas said as he stepped back.
"Y-yes" Dong-su was pale as if all blood was drained from his face. Like he remembered something he didn't want to.
"Then go back. I won't give you another warning." Thomas said as he turned around and went to sit down on his chair.
He saw Dong-su walking out of the office.
"What do you think Haru did to make him that scared?" Thomas asked Laura who gave him a glass of wine.
"I don't know but he was that scared even without even hearing his name. I don't want to know what will happen if he stands in front of him." Laura said as she shook her head while giving him information regarding the gates that opened in the USA.
Thomas laughed as he heard her and looked at the information.
"The number of gates is increasing at an alarming rate," Thomas said while raising his eyebrow.
"That is true as the number of Awakened is also increasing," Laura said.
"Hmm, a lot of countries are going to have problems because they don't have enough hunters and funds to clear gates," Thomas said as he looked at the data from Africa.
"That is true the number of high ranking gates has been increasing and a total of Fifteen S-rank gates have opened all over the world. With two of them being in the USA." Laura said.
"This is too sudden." Thomas looked outside the window and shook his head before looking at the file again he had to finish the problem in his backyard first.

Haru POV
"Ok, that's it. Rest for a bit." I said as looked at Jin-ah, Hae-in, and Queresha.
"Hah* D-demon Hah* how could you be Hah* so….. Rough." Hae-In said as she was gasping for air while lying on her back.
"Stop the misleading comments," I said as I looked at the three of them Panting as they were covered in dirt and sweat.
"Oh come on, who is listening anyway?" Jin-ah said as she was drinking some water.
'Girl you have no idea.' I shook my head as I made a chair with wood release and sat down.
We are currently training the use of Haki as Jin-ah is learning how to use magic properly with basic combat training.
"Ok let's go and have breakfast. Jin-ah has school as well." I said while standing up.
"AHHHHH, I have to go to school as well I don't want to." Jin-ah lay on the ground lazily.
"Oh come on you are going to graduate soon. So stop complaining." I said as I picked her up and we exited the training ground.
After that, we took a shower and walked out to the dining table, and had breakfast.
"Where is Kanae?" Hae-in asked as Kanae isn't home.
"She went out for a run before you guys woke up," I said as I sat down and started eating as Hae-in nodded while eating.
"The breakfast is delicious Queresha." I praised her because she made it.
"Thank you, My lord," Queresha said with a smile.
Jin-ah was wolfing down the food at an insane speed.
After finishing the food I sent Jin-ah to her house with Flying Thunder god.
"Hello aunt," I greeted aunt who was making breakfast for everyone.
"Oh, look who finally remembered me," Aunt said with her normal smile as Jin-ah went into her room to change her clothes.
"I was busy," I said as I scratched my cheek.
"Ok, Come and eat breakfast with us," Aunt said as she shook her head.
"I just had breakfast," I said as I waved my hand.
"How dare you not listen to my wife? Eat the damn breakfast even if your stomach is full empty it and eat it" Uncle shouted as he was sitting at the dining table with Jin-woo.
"Yo, Jin-woo." I waved at Jin-woo who waved back.
"DON'T IGNORE ME." uncle shouted again as he stood up knocking his chair over.
"Honey you shouldn't shout at the dinner table," Aunt said with a smile as she looked at uncle.
"Yes."
When I looked at uncle he was already sitting down on the chair silently. I shook my head as my aunt placed the dishes on the table.
"OK, I am off to school." Jin-ah came out of her room after changing into her school uniform.
"At least eat something before going," Aunt said.
"I had breakfast at Haru's house. Then I will be going." Jin-ah said as she kissed me on my cheek and ran towards the door.
"BASTARD YOU HAVE TAINTED MY DAUGHTER. I'LL KILL YOU." Uncle swung his short sword at me.
"Uncle, have you gone mad?" I dodged while asking as he swung the short sword more ferociously.
"STAND STILL BASTARD, LET ME CUT YOU DOWN." He shouted as he ran after me.
"Is this how you treat your son-in-law?" I said.
"YOU AREN'T MY SON-IN-LAW. I WON'T GIVE MY DAUGHTER TO YOU." He shouted.
"I just said don't shout." Aunt came out of the kitchen and said as black aura leaking out of her.
"B-But he is tainting our daughter," Uncle said.
"Ok sit down he isn't doing anything." She said as she came with a plate and placed it on the table.
"Haru eat some." She said as she sat down. Uncle had to admit defeat in front of aunt again.
After eating, I left with Jin-woo and we are currently going to the guild office.
"So how strong were the giants?" Jin-woo asked while driving.
"It was ok," I said as I looked at the road.
"Anyway did you bring Jo-hee home?" I asked him and he nodded.
"So how was the talk?" I said.
"It was ok. Mother was happy after meeting her they talked alone as I was with dad sitting in the living room listening to him bragging about his experience with women. That was cut short by mom." Jin-woo said.
"Congratulations on your First Girlfriend. I am proud of you." I said as I clapped with a smile then patted his shoulder.
"Why do I feel like you are disrespecting me here?" Jin-woo said as he narrowed his eyes.
"It is your imagination," I said with a harmless smile.
"Like hell, it is," Jin-woo said as he glared at me.
And we bickered along the way as we reached the office.
