Chapter 706: Kevin wants to talk to Grandpa first
Gwendolyn suddenly felt her heart melt for this beautiful and adorable little girl who was her very first granddaughter.
She looked into Axel and Kevin's eyes, filled with emotion, and said to them, "You both have done a wonderful job. Your little princess is not only adorable, but she also cares for others."
Gwendolyn finally took the last steps that separated her from them and embraced all three of them, saying, "Welcome home, my children! Come, everyone is eagerly waiting for you."
Axel and Kevin returned her embrace, and Axel then said to his mother, "Kevin wants to talk to Grandpa first for a while and check on his physical condition. They will join us a little later."
Gwendolyn sighed then and gently caressed Kevin's cheek, saying, "I thought you came to take a few days of rest... But seeing your serious face, I suppose it can't wait, can it? After all, the date you gave us for the confrontation with the Titans and Demons is approaching rapidly."
Axel the grandfather approached them after hearing that, and said to his daughter, "Go ahead with Axel and our little Willow, we'll join you soon. This time, Axel will have time to get to know the rest of our family better, do not worry for anything else."
Axel smiled at his grandpa and then he kissed Kevin on the forehead and rubbed his nose against his, saying, "Take all the time you need to talk, and call me if you need me."
Kevin nodded and smiled, using their link to communicate, 'With your mark and your grandfather by my side, I am safe here. Besides, I don't think they will refuse our invitation. The opportunity to become a Divine Werewolf will be too tempting for them.'
Axel agreed with Kevin, and since Kevin had volunteered to meet the Alphas of this world on his behalf so that he could fully enjoy his reunion with his family, he had accepted this offer with gratitude, knowing that Kevin would easily convince them to come and train in their world to become Divine creatures.
Kevin then gently stroked Willow's curls and said to her, "Be good, my angel, and have fun with your uncles and aunt. I'll be back soon!"
"Call me too if you need help, Daddy," Willow said, giving him one last hug, which made everyone laugh.
But Kevin still replied very seriously, "Of course, my little princess, after all, your psychic powers are unmatched."
After that, Axel gave a quick hug to his grandfather, and then with Willow on one of his forearms and his mother clinging to his other arm, they walked towards the village, which was only a few minutes away on foot.
When they disappeared from their field of vision, Kevin immediately activated his Stage 2 and began to check Axel's grandfather's body.
Axel the grandfather then said to him, quite shocked, "Sonny, you have improved tremendously since the last time we saw each other, it's very impressive."
Kevin, after inspecting his body, sighed with relief and said with a smile, "Axel and I have been involved in many battles lately, and Elias and Miguel have also subjected us to intensive training."
"I see!" said Axel's grandfather, who was always a little uncomfortable when alone with Kevin, this kid was really creepy sometimes, and the worst part was that he wasn't even aware of it.
He cleared his throat, hoping that Kevin would never been able to read his mind, and then he curiously asked him, "How is my physical condition? And what did you want to talk to me about in private?"
Kevin immediately replied, still smiling with relief, "There is no trace of Corium in your bloodstream anymore, which is great news, grandpa. And your chakra flow is much denser and faster than during my last visit, which truly proves that Werewolves have a definite advantage over other races when it comes to their regenerative abilities."
Axel the grandfather smiled because Kevin genuinely seemed delighted that he had recovered well, and he honestly said to him, "I haven't reached the peak of my power yet, but in recent days, I have felt my powers returning to me more and more quickly. And the fact that you just confirmed that my chakra flow is denser and faster gives me hope that I will soon regain all my former powers."
Kevin then said, to reassure him, "Grandpa, not only will you regain all your former powers, but you will also become a Divine werewolf, I guarantee it!"
Axel the grandfather then frowned and said to him, "Even without becoming a Divine Werewolf, with my title as the Supreme Alpha, I am already qualified to come and fight with you, sonny, don't forget that!"
Kevin then sighed helplessly and said to him, "No one is obligated to participate in this war, but given the recent events and our previous battles against Lilith and her underlines, the more of us there are for this war, the better it will be."
Kevin then told him what they had discovered when they were in the world of the Angels, and Axel the grandfather clenched his fists when he realized the seriousness of their situation.
They will not only have to fight against Titans, Demons, or Knights of Darkness, but against all kinds of creatures that Lilith has managed to corrupt.
When he heard Kevin talk about creatures he had never had to face before, like the Swallower of Shadows, the Necromancer, or the General Wizard, he paled, realizing their power, and now he understood better why the Warrior Spirits would only bring with them Divine creatures or Mages and Fighters who had reached level 200 to fight against these monsters.
Axel the grandfather was feeling really frustrated now because there was very little chance that the Alphas of their world, as well as their most talented warriors, would be able to become Divine creatures in the time they had been given, and yet...
He growled even more frustrated and admitted to Kevin, "If you only knew, sonny, since you left, our world has never been more harmonious. And all the Alphas are training very hard every day with their best warriors to be able to join you in this battle."
