Chapter 303: Silver Class 44
Silver Class 44
He came back early?
The senior elder picked the paper and read through. His brows went up for some time asking "He came back early?" "He came back for the Class Test." The elder added. His expressions were clear and sober. "It means he is already at the peak of level six?" the senior elder asked for confirmation. "It is indeed." The elder's brief answer brought a series of expressions on the face of the senior elder. "Then we should not delay him like others. I will issue the next mission as soon as the event past two days." The senior elder kept the information paper in his priority list and wrote some of the suggestions for the higher ups.
Polishing and bringing up a youngest Hunter King on the scenario of the Hightown meant a lot. It was clear sign that they could expect him a next Hunter Monarch if they were able polish and nurture him well. If this happened then almost half of the worries of the Hightown will decrease. The loyal hunters were working on this sole mission secretly. It was up to the circumstances how long they can keep this secret hidden. The elder left accomplishing his task on the front desk.
There was another worry for the senior elder. For the fact that the young hunter returned back within five days; it was expected that he only focused on hunting; he might be ignorant about the various aspects and the different scenarios which can suddenly change during a hunt. For example a hunter can suddenly be surrounded with the monsters and some unexpected situation can unfold. The senior elder wanted to make sure that the young hunter was tempered with such situations. So he will be sending a difficult mission for the Class Test.
The senior elder called Finfin stood up from his desk and walked toward the next room; here another senior was sitting. He was responsible for all type of Class Test Missions. Finfin knocked on the door and entered. It was a small room with wooden shelves on both sides indicating the position of the elder in the Hunting School. Class Test assignment was a big responsibility. With the number of teams coming for the Class Test every three month and collecting reports from the Third Tower about the available missions then organizing according to the power ratio; not an easy talk.
"Finfin welcome; long time that I saw your painted face. What brought you here by the way?" the elder stood up and welcomed Finfin. He knew very well that every elder in the missions recruitment part of the job was sincere toward the Hunting School and its reputation especially Finfin filter out the capable hunters so he developed expression habits on his face. "When will you stop it calling me like that? Now you have grown old and the jokes do not suit from the mouth of an oldie like you." Finfin waved his hand fluttering his fleece and sitting on the chair present in front of the desk.
"I do not want to end up like you. This is the reason that I cannot abandon jokes. You better do something about your painted face else I will have to find a beautiful woman for you. The thing I cannot make better I am sure the woman can do in few days." The elder seemed on friendly terms with Finfin. He was laughing lightly and speaking very friendly. Finfin turned his side on the mention of the woman. "What possibly I can do with a woman in this age?" Finfin pretended disappointed.
"Come on my friend; the presence of a woman is enough for the heart of a man. You see the heart throb different." The elder seemed in good mood or he was missing his woman. "Forget about it; I have something discuss with you." Finfin placed the paper in front of the elder and asked, "I need a team and a tough mission for this hunter. Make sure that the mission is available within two days." Perhaps the elder rightly named him 'painted face' Finfin was clear picture of expressionless face. The elder raised up his brows astounding at the demand.
"Do you want to kill this hunter on purpose or you wanted to test his grit?" The elder asked seriously. He resumed his professional tone and the attitude. "If he cannot prove his grit; he sure can die. It is up to his tempered skills if he has any." Finfin spoke unconcerned. The elder picked the paper placed in front of him and read carefully. His expressions did not change instead he nodded. "Sure I will prepare according to your recommendation. Do you want him to be assigned as the team leader?" the elder asked in grim tone.
"Indeed; his reputation should also be tested as the team leader. If any of his team members got damage then I will cancel his advancement acceptance." Finfin added some strict terms. He seemed very curious about the young hunter and wanted to know everything about his grit, learning, hunting and much more.
The elder nodded and wrote down the instructions for the upcoming mission. Nimgu was responsible for the level six and level seven missions so he directly meet the team leader and let them know about the mission and necessary steps. Class Test for the level six was followed with the team however it was not necessary that the team should also be at the peak of the same level.
It can differ because the purpose of the mission was to test the capability of the certain hunter going through the Class Test. They wanted to know about his team spirit and his reputation among any team assigned to him. The hunters were tested on many paths especially those who aspire for the highest positions. Finfin stood up and went back; he will inform the junior elder about the progress and that he can inform the hunter about it. It was necessary for them to let the hunter know that his request was in the process of acceptance.
