My Journey to Godhood as a Caterpillar

Chapter 186: The thoughts of the other sects

Chapter 186: The thoughts of the other sects

Yun Jhin's hard stance on the elders' matter made the other organizations who were eyeing the blood throne sect, like hungry piranhas reconsider their intentions.

Normally the other sects were quite wary of the blood throne sects former reputation and they knew that its revival was only a matter of time unless news of Yun Jhin's permanent death appeared.

So they had prepared somewhat for his resurrection but considering that he recreated the sect too fast and too sudden made them unable to act properly after all the grey areas were rather far away from the righteous sects and nearer the evil sects, the evil sects also didn't have much time to check up on the grey area as they were always butting heads with the righteous sects for resources.

The grey area resources were scarce and they were more like an in-between place for the righteous and evil sects to trade normally however most of the time the resources each sect used were opposed to those they needed so their trades were very rare, at least the personal ones could happen once every hundred of years, they would mostly use the old men who controlled the Bazaar to get what they needed instead of going by themselves.

As Yun Jhin only went to one Bazaar which he immediately took over sealing all the news that came from it at the same time, made the sects unable to blitz him and stop him before he created his sect.

The blood throne sects' formation reputation was quite resounding in the universe and no one wanted to test it first, as for war? That was more unlikely as they would need late stage God Realm experts to breach the formation which would leave their headquarters empty and ready to be attacked.

While the sects had alliances with each other those alliances could be easily forgotten in the face of profits, betrayal was an easy thing to happen in the cultivation world and it didn't need much thought to happen.

This was why Yun Jhin always put some form of control on his immediate subordinates, no matter how close one could be considered to another there was still a chance of betrayal happening, even childhood friends or relatives would forget about each other as time passed and they would only become acquaintances at best if money and resources were involved.

What Yun Jhin did by executing those elders showed that he was going to take a neutral stance in the current world and that he wouldn't involve himself with the current events at the moment which gave the others a sense of inner peace, while Yun Jhin was currently a ticking time bomb that others wanted to defuse, they would first have to go through a field of thistles a sea of blades and a mountain of fire before they could defuse the bomb, and making one mistake could make the bomb explode earlier as well. So they didn't want to mess with him... yet.

*****************************

At the Radiance Brilliance and Light headquarters stood a gigantic pavilion made from Sky Blue Bricks of light, it was very imposing and majestic with a tint of imperial aura, a gigantic dragon statue was atop of it in a pose of roaring towards the heavens.

Inside the biggest room where nothing but a prayer mat stood was a middle-aged man with long pierced ears and a big stomach, he had an aura of righteousness around him which made him seem like a sage that would save the masses from hunger by offering his own body if nothing else was to eat.

He had a strange attractive aura to his cerulean blue eyes and he wore nothing but a kasaya robe which covered his rather rotund body, he was looking at the ceiling of the room seemed as if he had nothing on his mind and he was just being bored.

A knock could be heard coming from the oversized doors of the room, they were considerably bigger than the middle-aged man's frame which was only over 1,83 meters tall.

The doors opened and a midget around 1,35 meters tall came in, he had a red nose a long flowing red braided beard and he was bald, he had grey lifeless eyes like those of a dead fish and he wore red armor made from tempered lava iron.

The dwarf male came closer to the daydreaming man and kneeled before saying:

"The calamity has descended on our universe once again Ancestor Biu Wuan, what should we do?"

Biu Wuan closed his eyes as his head moved towards the dwarf's location and he shook it as he said:

"Nothing."

The dwarf continued kneeling before he kowtowed and left the room hurriedly to tell everyone in the sect the information.

The ugly man who sold Yun Jhin those resources had currently made it big becoming a steward of the sect and he was quite scared of the news about Yun Jhin, he didn't even know that the one he sold materials to was the person that currently scared him to the bone!

The moment the news came saying that they weren't supposed to do anything to Yun Jhin he became a little bit disturbed, their Radiance Brilliance and Light sect couldn't do anything to the new sect? Even though the reputation was quite scary it was just newly reconstructed and there was no way it recruited any important personnel!

But considering the order came from high above the ugly man didn't say anything as he continued his job as a steward.

The Brilliance Radiance and Light was the strongest righteous sect so the other righteous sects took after their example and called off any attempts at attacking Yun Jhin, but that didn't mean they didn't send some spies to see what Yun Jhin was currently doing.

*****************************

In the strongest devilish evil sect of the mortal realm, the Dead Bones sect stood a gigantic tower made of pale white bones that contained fragments of bones from every race that could be found both in the mortal realm and hell, they were a sect focused on the control of bones and all of their techniques had the need of bones to be cast.

The gigantic tower made of bones was simple and crude, it looked like it would fall off the next moment a small breeze would pass by but it also had an unquestionable stench of decay and death that also gave it a stable look somehow, it was a rather unnerving feeling.

Inside the top room of the tower stood a gaunt old man who was only bones, there was only a patch of skin over his bones that made him look human but everything else about him made him look like a corpse that crawled up from the coffin.

"You are back old friend? Hmph, I wanted to give you a present for our last encounter but it seems you are rather busy."

The old man talked with himself as if he was crazy as there was literally no one with him in the empty room, the room was full of bones of different sizes and origins but all of them had the same aura around them which indicated they were all under the control of the old man.

The old man shook his head as his vision pierced through the tower but the distance between his sect and Yun Jhin was extremely long, Yun Jhin's meteorite was quite far to the northern part of the universe almost to the border of known chaos, this was also one of the reasons he only gained 750,000 disciples despite the resounding reputation of the Blood Throne sect.

"Ah I would like to give you a visit but If I do those other old fogies would attack my tower..."

****************************

Yun Jhin opened his eyes a shiver went through his whole body and down his spine, it felt like someone rather important was talking about him right now... and this sensation happened more than one time, it actually happened 5 times in a row!

Did the other sects finally put his crosshairs on him?

Yun Jhin wasn't scared of conflict at the moment as they wouldn't be able to send many troops to his sect but he still needed some time to consolidate his position in the universe along with his cultivation, once he reached the God Realm the battle power of his last life would come back quickly even though he couldn't tussle with the peak experts he could still fight it out with the late-stage ones.

For now, his cultivation had stabilized at the 5th stage of the sage realm after continuous use of the resources he gained from the Bazaar but he needed to awaken the blood river so he could get the passive increase in cultivation speed. However, he couldn't let the others know that the blood river was dried or they would have thoughts of attacking, after all the blood river was the main reason they were wary of coming to his base.

And the fastest way of awakening the river was feeding it the pure blood of the innocent!
