The man was wearing leopard-print sunglasses and a matching casual outfit. He casually leaned against his flashy red sports car with his lean body.

Seeing the car approach, before it could fully stop, he took off his leopard-print sunglasses. His mischievous eyes were already fixed on Lu Weixi, who was seated by the window in the front of the car, and his lips curled into an amused smile.

Qin Zhiyou again, it was always Qin Zhiyou. He had supposedly gone back to Hanhai after dropping her off at work; how did he come back so quickly?

Having no choice, she tried to hide her panic beneath a cough, smoothing her clothing and fixing her hair as if nothing had happened. Nonchalantly, she vacated the car, not even sparing him a glance.

She remained composed, but Qin Zhiyou didn’t. He fiddled with the car keys around his finger, with one hand in his pocket. He swaggered over to Lu Weixi, and with a roguish whistle said, “Hello, beautiful.”

Lu Weixi’s tone dropped significantly: “What do you want?”

“I came to see you.”

Lu Weixi quickly raked her gaze over him and back, thinking to herself, what a shame it was to see a grown man putting up such a show. Face aloof, she said, “Sorry, I have to work. President Qin, if there’s something else…”

Lu Weixi frowned, casting a quick glance at him. She leaned in and whispered, “I have to work. What are you doing here?”

“I never said you couldn’t.” Qin Zhiyou leaned in intentionally closer. To Lu Weixi, she was just maintaining her decorum, but to everyone else, the two looked very much like a couple, deeply in love.

“Then what are you doing here?”

Qin Zhiyou didn’t answer her. The one who did was their boss, who dashed out at a sprinter’s speed.

It was a well-known fact that LuLu’s boss despised poverty and loved wealth, favoured money over all else. He had once used Lu Weixi as a bargaining chip to work with Yan City’s company, even if it meant throwing her to perverted old men like President Liu. But when Lu Weixi landed a big order from Siyi Company, he was ecstatic and practically worshipped her. Hearing that the Qin brothers often visited her, he wished to be by her side too.

Especially when he heard rumours that Lu Weixi might be Qin Zhiyou’s distant relative. Even if it were distant, they were still related! The boss regretted how he used to speak to her without respect. Plus, Lu Weixi was too humble!

On hearing that Qin Zhiyou was visiting that day, the boss was overjoyed. But why didn’t he rush to greet him immediately? He was grooming himself to create a good impression on Qin Zhiyou!
