Chapter 11: Hunters test Part - 4
Chapter 11: Hunters test Part - 4
Rattle! Rattle! Rattle!
Watching the undead skeletons, he approaches in all directions.
'What do I do, what do I do...'
Erik scans the surroundings, his brain is working at full speed in search of a solution.
However, despite having several ways to get out alive and avoid the undead skeletons, he has a big problem putting what he thinks into practice.
The big problem was his body, which is very limited due to several tendons in his legs being severed, it seems that the man who attacked him did it on purpose so that he would not escape.
'Shit, what do I do? My body hasn't healed yet'
Even though his body is healing, but not at a speed to make fast movements, because the proficiency of the skill is very low.
Rattle! Rattle! Rattle!
The sound of the undead skeletons is heard closer and closer, implying that he is running out of time to look for a solution.
"Haaa... Shit, because of that son of a bitch, I find myself in this situation."
Erik cursed the dead man, likely already in the reincarnation cycle, for leaving him in this situation.
Seeing that he had no choice but to face the undead skeletons, he coated the spear blade with 'End Energy' again.
Having everything ready, I look at the undead skeletons, with a nervous expression, while blood and sweat run down his face.
Rattle! Rattle! Rattle!
When the skeletons finally entered his spear strike zone, Erik took a deep breath.
He swung his spear hard and lunged at the first skeleton with a blow that shattered it.
He then threw the spear back toward his back, knocking down three skeletons behind him without giving them a chance to react.
"Haaa..."
He took a breath and took another deep breath, unleashing a powerful horizontal attack that swept all the skeletons in front of him.
Tti-ring.
[You have defeated eight E-rank skeletons!].
[Skeleton - Rank E, 20 times: incomplete (8/20)]
"Haaa..."
A harsh sigh escaped Erik's lips as he inhaled deeply, ignoring the notification windows.
He launched another powerful horizontal attack, sweeping away one more row of skeletons.
Tti-ring.
[You have defeated six E-rank skeletons!]
"Argh..."
A grunt broke free from Erik's lips as he felt a sharp pain in his back. He swung his spear back, sweeping the skeletons behind him.
However, the skeletons kept piling up on him, biting and tearing at the skin and flesh of his body, as if they were zombies.
'... Shit, I can't lose consciousness now.'
He is struggling with all his strength, not to lose consciousness, knowing, that if he does, it is the end of his life.
But, his vision is beginning to darken, due to the great loss of blood and all the throbbing pain that runs through his body.
"Still, I can't..."
Erik felt imposing, not being able to do so, as the undead skeletons piled up on his body.
"Damn it...! HAAAAAHHH!"
Erik's entire body was covered by the undead skeletons, no trace of his body or anything resembling it remained.
"...."
A huge silence fell on the place, it was as if a supernatural force had taken away the noise, and not even the sound of birds could be heard.
Until...
BOOOM!!!
All the undead skeletons on top of Erik's body shot out and disappeared shortly, leaving only their mana stones, which fell like rain from the sky.
In the middle of the place, Erik could be seen being covered by a colorless energy that was quickly taking the form of a gigantic wolf.
After the energy finished taking shape, the image of a gigantic wolf was revealed, glaring hatefully at the sky, with Erik's unconscious body in the center.
Rattle! Rattle! Rattle!
The skeletons began to climb, but when they touched the paws of the giant wolf, they disappeared from existence.
The giant wolf, upon witnessing this, its face crumpled and it launched a powerful attack with its claws.
BOOOM!
The attack obliterated all the skeletons within its reach, shaking the entire forest and leaving behind a large crater.
After this attack, the form of the gigantic wolf began to diminish. However, before disappearing completely, it opened its mouth and let out a thunderous roar:
"ROOOOAAARRRRR!"
The thunderous roar echoed throughout the vast forest, making all who heard it tremble.
Those who were not strong enough in the forest began to succumb.
The survivors experienced a mixture of terror: some urinated, some vomited and some collapsed along with their clothes.
Even the monsters panicked: the wolves went mad and all fled the forest.
The nearby skeletons disappeared, the goblins, being the weakest, perished, and even the leaders of the tribes.
The lizard men, terrified, began to attack and devour each other.
Life in the forest began to fade away. The trees left as if the end was near and all that could be seen was chaos.
All this was triggered by the powerful roar that was charged with 'End Energy'.
Tti-ring.

A few hours later
Erik gradually regained consciousness, his vision was blurred and gradually became clearer until he could see the white ceiling that he easily recognized as the place where he was.
"So I'm back in the hospital..."
A faint mumble escaped Erik's lips, feeling every part of his body ache as if he were in hell itself.
At the same time, though, he felt a sense of relief because of his ability.
'How had he made it to the hospital alive?'
All he remembers was that he was surrounded by undead skeletons; After that, he doesn't remember anything else.
'Could it be that the supervisors brought me...?'
That seemed to be the most plausible explanation.
If not for them, who else would have brought him to this place? It was unlikely that anyone would venture into that area and save him in good faith.
Because most people went to goblin territory.
'I should at least be thankful that I'm still alive, but how long was I unconscious?'
Esa era la incógnita que le pesaba en estos momentos, pues no sabía si había completado la misión diaria.
Erik comenzó a sentir una picazón en la espalda, pero no podía rascarse debido al dolor que sentía en todo el cuerpo.
Just as she tried to relieve the itch in her back, the door to the room opened.
In walked a beautiful, sultry nurse holding a tray. This nurse was Carol's friend Paula.
Seeing her patient struggling to scratch.
"Please don't move!"
Erik froze at the sound of that voice and turned his face to where the nurse was standing.
"How long was I unconscious?"
That was the first thing he asked in a weak voice, ignoring the itch in his back.
"..."
Paula did not respond but reached over, pressed a button on a nearby control and the bed began to rise until it was diagonal
Then she placed the tray on a table beside the bed.
"You've been unconscious for twenty-seven hours."
"Twenty-seven hours?!"
"Yes, twenty-seven hours."
Paula repeated, taking off her shirt to change her bandages.
'Have I been unconscious for twenty-seven hours?'
He finds it hard to believe that he had been unconscious for that long; to him, it seemed like only a few minutes had passed since he lost consciousness.
Waking up in that spot, he figured he would have been unconscious for about four or five hours, tops.
"You can bend over a little."
He complied and Paula finished removing his shirt and then began removing his bandages.
'Would I have completed the mission? Otherwise, I would have woken up in some strange dungeon.'
This was the only answer he could think of at the moment. If he hadn't completed the mission, he would most likely be in some strange dungeon.
[You have unread notifications]
A window appeared in front of him without much thought, he thought 'Open'.

[The rewards for completing the mission have arrived!]
[Would you like to confirm?] (Y/N).
"... What the hell?"
Erik couldn't help but curse out loud from surprise, seeing all the notifications and reward windows blocking his entire view.
'How do I complete the mission?'
Despite being in shock, because of all the windows in front of him, he is very curious about how to complete the mission, if he lost consciousness.
'It could be...'
But before he finished his thought...
"Did something happen?"
Paula asks, seeing the startle of her patient, who suddenly cursed while looking at nothing.
'None of the hunters are normal. Tsk, what a waste'
Paula shook her head slightly disappointed, all the hunters she has attended to were handsome and attractive, but the problem was that she was missing a few screws.
And now the patient he took a little interest in is far superior to the rest he has met and he can't help but admire her beauty.
Eyebrows seemingly drawn with the brush of the finest artist; a nose and chin formed at perfect angles that defied attempts to measure them through mere contraptions; a pair of beautiful golden-eyed eyes; and her unique gray and white hair, giving her a unique and special touch.
Tsk. Tsk.
Paula couldn't help but smack her lips, she had her perfect man in front of her, but seeing him cursing at nothing disappointed her a little.
"This, I'm sorry, I just remembered I haven't eaten, and I'm really hungry."
Erik can't give a worse excuse than that, his face is red with embarrassment, right now he wants to bury himself ten meters under the ground.
"Oh... I understand, don't worry, in a few minutes they'll bring you your food."
Paula said with a small smile, though internally she's relieved that her patient isn't missing a few screws.
"Oh, thank you...?"
Erik gave the nurse a strange look. He couldn't believe that the nurse had believed him, but decided not to say anything else, as the atmosphere with the nurse was quite uncomfortable.
Paula finished changing the bandages and left the room, leaving him alone.
Seeing that the nurse left him alone, I decided to take a look at the information window containing the mission.

What matters is that he accomplished the daily mission.
