Seeing Qiao Yin sitting in front of Dongfang Mu’s computer, she paused a bit, then smiled and greeted Qiao Yin, “Good afternoon.”
Qiao Yin immediately stood up, “Good afternoon, Miss Cui.”
Cui Shuqian nodded politely, then sat down on the sofa, “Dongfang Mu, could we have some privacy? The matter I wish to discuss involves business secrets.”
Dongfang Mu had an idea of what she wanted to talk about. He replied with a warm smile, “No problem, just speak your mind. I trust my assistant enough to let her stay. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have hired her.”
Cui Shuqian looked surprised, “I remember you have a hard time trusting people. It seems your assistant is pretty special to you. Is your trust because of her extraordinary beauty?”
Dongfang Mu responded seriously, “It’s because of her outstanding ability. She is indeed very beautiful, but that’s not why I hired her. Qiao Yin and I have a purely professional relationship.
