Chapter 215: Strength of a Seer

Chapter 215: Strength of a Seer

Hearing these words Derik chuckled and slowly stretched while gazing at the god descent statue with cold eyes and murderous glares.

"Kill me? Everyone who has made such statements has failed" Derik said coldly as he took bold steps forward as his body leaned forward, preparing to pounce on the enemy at any moment.

"You have never met anyone like me" The god descent statue said calmly, ignoring Derik's intimidating advances.

"Anyone like you? Bitch! I have killed men twice as capable as you are!" Derik growled before shooting forward!

His body shot forward like an arrow as he slashed downwards with his green soul scythe but just before his weapon could make contact with the statue it took a small step to the left, barely evading the attack!

Bang!

As Derik's body flew forward, the statue struck down with its elbow, knocking him down to the ground with so much force, Derik spat out a mouthful of blood while the two sides of his body curved upwards while his torso dug deep into the ground, creating a bone-cracking sound.

When did he dodge?

When did he counterattack?

How can he dodge from that distance?

Did he see it all coming?

Countless questions ran through Derik's mind as he felt the air in his lungs get pulled out forcefully.

"Die!" The statue said as it raised its fist and struck down but before it reached Derik it stopped and jumped out of the way.

AZURE DRAGON ROAR!!

Brrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!

At that moment a powerful blue beam of light shot at the statue's previous position and just a second after Lucien could be seen standing beside Derik's body with an amused look on his face.

"I left you only for a few minutes and this is what I see?" Lucien sneered but Derik remained silent and slowly rose to his feet.

His face lacked all forms of emotions as he acknowledged he got beat down previously because he acted too impulsively and let his emotions get the best of him. He didn't argue with Lucien, neither did he get pissed at the enemy, instead he just analyzed what just happened and tried to understand the true ability and pathway of the creed leader.

"You are no fun" Lucien commented when he realized Derik wasn't talking back, instead he focused on the enemy ahead and tried to consider his next move.

"The creed leader follows the seer pathway... The ability to see the future and to an advanced level he can see slightly into the future in battle... That's why he was able to evade our attacks effortlessly" Lucien said and Derik frowned.

Everything finally made sense and he finally understood why things weren't going his way in the short exchange. His eyes revealed strong killing intentions as he charged forward once again but this time, without the death scythe.

His primary choice of weapon vanished as the green chains returned, lashing at the stone statue violently!

Even with the numbers advantage and speed, the statue gracefully evaded all the attacks easily without one getting a hit on it!

Whoosh!

"We move in together!" Lucien growled as his figure appeared behind the statue with darkish blue lightning circling his fists as he threw a punch forward!

Wam!

The massive stone figure crouched quickly to evade the attack and its body spun as it threw a powerful kick directed at Lucien's waist.

Peng!

The stone leg struck the blazing blue azure dragon spear before sending him flying! Lucien felt his arms go numb as the kick connected, sending him flying to the less.

Shhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!

Lucien grounded his feet on the ground to prevent his body from losing balance. Before he could completely regain control over his body, the stone statue could be seen chasing after him with killing intentions in its eyes.

ROAR!!!

Lucien let out a roar while spitting out a powerful beam of blue aura but the stone statue sidestepped, evading the attack! With a few well-aimed side steps, it closed the distance between it and Lucien throwing a powerful punch aimed at his skull!

"Get Lost!" Derik growled as he grabbed Lucien and tossed him back while throwing a punch of his own!

Boom!

A powerful shockwave occurred as the two fists collided, sending Lucien flying even farther! Bone-shattering sounds could be heard but Derik still wore the same wild look on his face!

Crack!

Crack!

His knuckles returned to their rightful position as his injuries healed at an alarming rate that made but Kylie and the viewers stunned. The current Derik was no human! His hair had grown longer with each string of hair standing! His eyes kept on releasing powerful green light and his teeth had fangs with his hands having claws!

Seeing this version of Derik without the armor, giving off a very ferocious aura, many were stunned.

"In the face of true strength, all forms of tricks are useless!" Derik growled with his unusually deep voice as he charged forward again!

Bang!

Bang!

Bang!

In just a few seconds both sides had traded hundreds of punches! While the statue dodged many and landed clean hits, Derik's healing factor kept him standing and going as he kept releasing a flurry of punches aimed at the enemy! At first, his punches were blocked and parried but soon he began landing a few blows, leaving the statue with numerous cracks on his body.

Bang!

Derik received a powerful punch to the center of the chest sending him, skidding backward. He felt his chest cave in and his body trying to fix just injuries but the stone statue had increased its attack speed, dealing more damage than he can heal at a given time!

"DON'T FORGET ABOUT ME!" Lucien growled as he clasped his hands together and a massive azure blue serpent dragon head appeared from the clouds!

A powerful beam of blue light could be seen striking down like a divine judgment, shooting towards the stone statue!

Boom!

The beam struck the ground creating a ten-meter-deep crater but when everywhere cleared up and the dust settled down, the stone statue was not there!

It dodged the attack!
