Chapter 34 34 Aaron Finnegan

Alex removed the helmet from his head and the light that shone from his window was so bright that he had to shut his eyes.

His eyes fluttered open as he faced away from his window, he quickly looked around searching for his phone so he could look at the time.

Alex knew he spent too much time in the game so he wanted to be sure, he held one of his hands above his eyes then he looked back and saw his phone on his bed.

He quickly grabbed it and looked at the time, "2:34 pm" Alex mumbled before laying back on his bed, his eyes had finally adapted to the brightness and it no longer disturbs his eyes.

pαпdα`noνɐ1`сoМ "I wonder what updates the game would be getting, when people talk about new updates I get jealous but now I know how it feels" Alex chuckled.

"The future has a website right, I should take a look at the website" Alex smiled as he unlocked his phone.

The future was the name of the company that created Nova Online, the company was the biggest gaming company in the whole world, and people usually gossip about the company a lot because there are lots of mysteries about the owner.

The company didn't create any game or anything else, the company was founded a year ago and six months later Nova Online was released.

The continent of Wiltshire was a majestic and beautiful place.

Wiltshire was the biggest continent in the world and there were many countries spread throughout the land.

Alex currently lives in the city of Woodpine. which was located in the country of Hillwood. It was an incredible country filled with beauty and wonder.

However, Woodpine was nothing but a small place on the continent of Wiltshire. The country of Hillwood shares its border with one of the largest countries in Wiltshire called Winterville.

Winterville was the largest and coldest country in Wiltshire, many consider this country the capital of the continent because of its importance, beauty, and influence.

The most beautiful city on the continent was located within this country. This city was named Northfrost.

Around the outskirts of the city was a snow-covered forest, and snowy mountains jutted out across the land making the city more beautiful.

Snow covered the beautifully designed architecture, covering the city in a sheet of white.

Tall buildings and skyscrapers soared towards the sky, breaking up the monotonous pattern of white, their light reflecting in distance.

One of the beautiful buildings in the city happened to be the headquarters of Future company, the company that created Nova Online.

The company headquarters was the tallest building in the city of Northfrost, it stood hundreds of meters tall with an astounding 100 floors.

At the top building in a beautifully decorated office adorned with marbles and shiny artifacts, a medium-sized table was placed close to the window with a computer and a notebook, a man could be seen standing looking at the city from above.

In his eyes, he was like a god that was watching over Northfrost. His long white hair flowed down almost reaching his waist, his skin smooth as silk, almost as white as snow.

His face was so handsome like it was sculptured with diamonds and crystals without a sign of blemish. He was Aaron Finnegan the founder of Future company and chief creator of Nova Online.

He wore track pants and a normal white top, all the employees in his company were wearing coats and jackets but he wasn't disturbed by the cold – he never was.

The door to his office opened but he didn't avert his gaze from the beautiful city he was staring at, a young woman in her mid-twenties stepped inside with a small notebook in her hands.

As she walked towards the man her long black hair swayed beautifully behind her, her face was beautiful as she maintained a cute smile.

She wore office attire, a tight black pencil skirt that stopped just above her knees, and a black dress shirt, whose buttons looked like they were having a hard time containing her voluptuous body.

This woman was Aaron's assistant, Aurora.

"The servers are being updated" she spoke in a calm and collected voice.

Aaron inhaled sharply before turning back, "I should take a look" he simply said.

"Why are we just adding the update now? It has been ready for over four months... it's chilly here"

"I have a reason...and why won't it be chilly with the clothes you are wearing, I hope those buttons loosen in front of everyone" he spoke in a joking manner.

"All the men would be blinded when they behold my twins, and what is the reason?"

"You ask too many questions"

"I deserve that much, given I followed you from our paradise to help you" Aurora spoke cutely.

"That doesn't work on me anymore, and besides I'm the only one you like in the family so you had no choice," Aaron said with a smile as he walked toward her.

"Maybe I'll go live with someone else" she pouted.

"That's your business, you are a grown woman given you are 300 years old," Aaron said in a low voice as he walked past her.

Aurora scoffed before speaking, "Brother came looking for you, you should see him later"

"Okay, love you" Aaron flashed her a smile leaving her alone in his office.

"L-Love... I've always wished we weren't blood-related, I would have gone out with Aaron" Aurora mumbled before leaving the office and walking towards her own office.

The top floor contained 3 offices, one belonging to Aaron, the other one belonging to Aurora and the last one was occupied by a man named Williams.

Aaron took the elevator to the 97th floor, as soon as he opened the elevator hundreds of keyboards were clacking and the sounds echoed throughout the floor.

"Sir you are here," Williams said as soon as he noticed Aaron.
