Chapter 861 Four Pillars: Through the Lens
Chapter 861 Four Pillars: Through the Lens
Watching the First Forger mow down a great chunk of the opposition with just one move, it went without saying that Valyr was left at a loss for words at the level of power the man wielded. Nôv(el)B\\jnn
Even he, who had experienced a similar level of strength during his fight against Daon and Dawan, could not say with certainty that he could wield that much power if he were as strong as the First Forger.
With that, the young man began to question his thoughts from the beginning of the memory, recalling that he thought that the First Forger had reached Rank 5 from the aura he was giving off.
Though, with the show of power the man had done at the beginning of his army's expedition, as well as the show of power that the man had done just now, Valyr was unsurprisingly forced to reevaluate his thoughts.
In the end, he decided to ask Vaughn yet again on the matter while rummaging through the memories from his past life in the meantime.
Surprisingly, the young man's earlier thoughts weren't that far off from what Vaughn had told him, with the man telling Valyr that the First Forger could be considered to be someone at the extreme pinnacle of Rank 5.
"Not only does he have an Ancient grade class, he also has a subclass of a similar caliber, as well as a Force that's considered to be just a bit shy of becoming an actual Concept," said Vaughn with a calm expression.
Hearing that the First Forger also had an Ancient grade subclass under his belt, Valyr's eyes briefly widened in disbelief as he felt his world view shudder for a bit.
Though, with how much the First Forger seemed to know regarding various aspects of the system throughout the memories he'd seen so far, the young man's shock gradually disappeared, instead taking the man's achievements as a matter of fact.
After all, if he had already arrived at a level of power that began to threaten Myth-level beings in his current state, who's to say someone with the same resources as him couldn't do the same thing?
Who's to say they couldn't go one step beyond what he did?
After that question, the two continued to talk about the power the First Forger was exuding for a bit more, witnessing the army behind the First Forger finally make a move against the remaining orcs.
With the army cleaving a bloody path through the orcs that remained, Vaughn told Valyr that the level of strength the First Forger showed at that moment was on the level of someone who was at peak Rank 7 or early Rank 8.
Hearing that, the young man faintly smiled in response, inwardly glad that he wasn't wrong in that regard.
While watching the First Forger unleash all of the skills under his arsenal to bolster his strength, Valyr surmised that the man had the strength of someone with an average level of strength amongst Myth-level beings.
To be more specific, the strength of someone with the average rank amongst Myth-level beings, which was Rank 8.
Moving his attention away from the destruction the First Forger was unleashing after his first move, Valyr soon focused his attention on the army of humans the man had gathered.
Looking at Vaughn in hopes that the man would give him more information, the young man nodded in understanding after hearing that almost all of the people making up the army were at the same rank as the First Forger.
Though, unlike the First Forger, they did not have an Ancient grade class or a Force that seemed to threaten the status quo.
Nevertheless, they still commanded a level of strength that would elicit great amounts of respect amongst many people, especially those that the First Forger had chosen to command the large groups making up the army.
With those people, as well as a handful of incredibly talented peak Rank 4 class holders manning the army, it did not take long for the orc army to begin crumbling into oblivion.
After taking some damage from the First Forger's [The Might of Humanity], Gro'gezar'akh was forced to tap into the recesses of his body for energy that would allow him to fight against the one called the Calamity of Khradash.
Yet, try as he might, the empowered First Forger remained victorious in the end, his expression tranquil as he easily disposed of the blue-skinned orc.
Of course, with the leader of the orc formation down, the human army gained even greater morale, pushing deeper into what was once a sturdy defense made to defend against the human offensive.
But with no one manning the helm of the orc army, many of the orcs decided to run away, realizing that throwing away their lives at this juncture would be all for naught.
With that, a campaign that would have originally taken days or weeks to finish with the numbers each side had was instead finished in a matter of hours.
From the First Forger taking the initiative to make a show of power to the various strengths and the strategies the human army had up its sleeve to fight against the remaining orcs, all of that was crucial in order for them to arrive at their current state.
With that, it went without saying that there were next to no casualties on the human side whatsoever, all of them cheering for joy as they realized that they had just made history.
Even the First Forger had a wide smile on his face after realizing that he could now take a more relaxed approach to expanding humanity's territory.
Letting out a soft sigh of relief, the man brought up a screen before him, which prompted the territory the orcs were occupying before to faintly glow in response.
Whoosh!
Starting from the center of the territory, a ring of blue energy swiftly expanded to cover the entire territory they had just claimed, allowing the entire human army to realize that they had just claimed over hundreds of kilometers of land in one go.
Realizing this, the army cheered even greater, with some even beginning to cry as they felt that the sacrifices they've made to get to this point hadn't been in vain.
As for the First Forger, a solemn expression soon adorned his face as he felt the world calling out to him, prompting others to think that the man was preparing to ascend his Force into a bona fide Concept.
Yet, against all odds, such a thing didn't happen.
Instead, with a soft exhale, the First Forger gazed out into the horizon before speaking out a few statements that seemed to resound throughout the entire planet.
"For decades, the humans have fought against their oppressors in a bid to rid themselves of the past that once was."
"For decades, we have toiled for this very purpose. Throughout that entire time, many have lived in fear that all of our efforts would eventually come to naught, wondering if the heavens would make a mockery of our aspirations."
"Not anymore."
Whoosh!
Raising the Dominion of Humanity into the air, the First Forger felt the artifact radiate a pulse throughout the entire territory humanity has claimed for themselves so far.
At that moment, the man felt the existence of every human within their territory.
Their heartbeats, their convictions, their emotions, all of that enveloped the man for a brief moment to the point that he was slightly overwhelmed.
Yet, with a determined step, the First Forger quickly regained his wits, taking in a deep breath as he knew that the next words to come out of his mouth would not be taken by the heavens lightly.
"With the Dominion of Humanity as the artifact that defines the unyielding will of the humans, we, the human race, shun the past that have been forced upon us."
Surprisingly, the entire army behind the First Forger responded in unison after that. "We shun the past that have been forced upon us!"
"Today, the human race writes down a new chapter on its long history. A chapter free from the oppressors. A chapter that deems us equal to those that once treated us lesser."
"A chapter of true freedom."
"True freedom!" yelled the entire army in unison.
"With the heavens as our witness, the human race shall now form a sovereignty, a sign that we are of equal standing to the great elves of nature, as well as the orcs of wanton destruction."
"Borrowing humanity's language of old, this sovereignty shall bear the marks of both Zeies, the word for eternity, and Harhedt, the word for prosperity."
"With the heavens as our witness, the human race shall now establish the Zeihardt Sovereignty, its prosperity lasting for eons upon end!"
"Long live the Zeihardt Sovereignty! Long live the human race!" shouted the army, their emotions now in full view.
Clenching the fist that held the Dominion of Humanity, the First Forger continued. "To mark this new age, I shall now bear the surname Zeihardt."
"From this day forth, I renounce my previous identity and take on the name Otto. With the word meaning power as my name, I shall now be known henceforth as Otto Zeihardt, the first leader of the Zeihardt Sovereignty."
"May the heavens guide me in using my powers to lead humanity in the right direction."
"And may humanity continue to prosper even greater under my rule."
