MMORPG: Genesis

Initiation

Almost immediately a strange yet beautiful woman appeared before him. 

She seemed to be a mixture of different races, she had a perfect human hourglass figure with large breasts and a fat ass, 

Her ears were long and pointed as were her eyebrows while she had long flowing silver hair which was the signature of the elves. 

She had two front lower teeth jutting out of her mouth and a facial tattoo as the orc women had. 

Her eyes however were somewhat smaller than normal which was normal for dwarf women, and she wore fine dwarf made armor. 

Finally, she possessed red horns, wings and a tail that were from the Draconian race. 

She showed no emotion whatsoever as if this was just something normal and mundane. 

Suddenly the woman opened her mouth and spoke in a voice more beautiful than anything Michael had heard; it was almost song-like. 

"Identity confirmed as John Michael's, Human, beginning body scan." 

"Error detected" 

"Bone structure indicates that individual is not 18 years old for another 3 minutes and 37 seconds." 

"Unable to proceed until time elapses please standby." 

John sighed before saying. 

"Miss Tia" 

"Just Tia." Tia replied. 

"Umm ok Tia, is there any way to speed this up please?" John asked. 

"I understand you are keen to enter Genesis John, however these things can't be rushed, if we proceed early, it could cause brain damage when I scan your brain." Tia explained. 

"I think you're mistaken Tia, it's not because I am keen to enter Genesis but because I need to hurry as I have things to do after this." John answered and for the first time he saw her face show emotion. 

"I see, well I'm afraid this can't be rushed as premature brain scans could damage your brain, do you understand?" Tia asked with a slight form. 

 Michael nodded in response and a couple of minutes later. 

"18 years old achieved, starting brain scan." 

"Brain scans complete." 

"Initiation complete, I hope you enjoy your time in Genesis." 

"Thank you but am afraid I won't really be playing." John said just as the white world began to turn dark once again. 

Tia stood looking at where John had once been with a thoughtful look on her face before saying. 

"I wonder why he claimed he won't be playing much? Everyone loves to play Genesis." 

"Whatever I'm sure he was just faking bravado, it's happened many times before after all." 

As the all-powerful AI of Genesis that controls the entire second world and dishes out punishment when she deems it necessary, many men and women of every race have tried to do anything they could think of to get Tia on their side. 

A few moments later John awoke in the pod and the hatch opened to allow him to climb out and head over to the desk. 

Upon arrival a government official addressed him. 

"Mr. Michaels your initiation seemed a few minutes longer than normal, can you inform us why for our report please?" 

"Of course, sir." John answered the official since who was being polite to him, John showed the same in return. 

"According to Tia we had to wait an extra 3 minutes and 37 seconds to do the brain scan as my bone structure indicated I was not quite 18." 

"Ah, that explains it very well, thank you for answering." The official said before picking up an access band that looked like an old bronze bangle. 

After seeing the band, the official showed surprise on his face before looking over towards the head official who was looking their way, the head official gave a small nod and looked elsewhere. 

John's official decided it was best to ignore this and proceed as normal so after a slight cough he spoke to John. 

"This is your new access band that allows you to access Genesis anywhere on the planet, along with that it is also your new ID containing your Citizen ID, student ID and is also connected to any bank accounts you have." 

"If it is lost or stolen, report it to your local government office asap for a replacement though there may be a charge depending on how it was misplaced." 

"Very well you're all set." The official said as John turned and moved away. 

"Now that everyone is registered Tia should allow you all access to Genesis in the next few minutes, so I advise you to return to your classrooms before you log in for the first time." The head official said and as he finished everyone headed back to their classrooms eager to log in, all except John who headed for work.

A month went past since John's school year had their initiation and life went on. 

The final school year was mainly focused on the students learning about Genesis and several times a year seminars would be held for students to attend and learn more than just the basics.

Now that school was not mandatory for them, most students did not bother going and stayed home to play Genesis, the only ones who did were the keen learners who always wanted to learn more and those students who had gained some minor accomplishment in Genesis and wanted to show off and brag about it. 

John had not even logged into Genesis since he got his access band and spent all his free time working on the construction site, he knew that once he officially left school there was no way he would be able to keep working jobs under the radar like he was now. 

Once he was old enough to officially start work it was unlikely anyone would want to hire an orphan who lived in a wooden box in the slums and who the teachers at school would not write a favorable review about. 

Not to mention if Dean really was doing things behind the scenes to hamper him then he was sure he would make it difficult to get official work. 

After all John had noticed the surprised look of the official when he picked up his access band and the questioning look, he gave his superior. 

John did not know what the reason for this was but since the band seemed to work fine, he just ignored it and carried on with his life.
