Chapter 163 Assigning Skills points
Chapter 163 Assigning Skills points
Alexia sighed before saying.
“I know, but you know how defensive I can get when it comes to the throne, it was how I was raised.”
“Can you ask John to return so that I can offer him an apology?”
“That might be a bit difficult .” Thasinia said with a frown.
“Why?” Alexia asked.
“I just messaged him asking him to return because we still need to discuss the threat to his life.” Thasinia began to explain.
“His response was, " I'm busy and I can already guess who wants me dead, if there is anything else, have one of the girls inform me later.”
Sakoto burst out into laughter before struggling to say.
“Haha have you haha ever met haha anyone haha who showed haha so little haha respect haha for there haha ruler haha”
Tanelia smiled and shook her head before saying.
“It seems even if your daughter is his woman, it won’t be so easy for you to gain his respect.”
“If you want to earn John’s respect, might I suggest you begin by being the one to approach him to apologize, instead of asking him to come to you.” Alea suggested.

After John left the room he decided to log into Genesis.
“Since Alea will probably be in the meeting for a while I should work on heading to the human capital Waning City and grab the city portal stone.”
Once John reached his room he sat in one of the comfy chairs before saying.
“Genesis Synch”
[Welcome back Vincarna]
[Current cooldowns:]
[Guidance Cooldown has ended and can now be used again.]
[Daratrine's Balance Cooldown: 3 Days 36 Hours 28 minutes 20 Seconds]
As he appeared back in Genesis John was still in the emerald enclave.
After stretching slightly he decided to first check out his skill trees since he had three points to spend in them.
The level ten row for each of his new six skill trees only had one skill slot available in each, as he focused on them their information was displayed.
[Circle Of Stars available skill slot:]
[Cosmic Alert: Your connection with the stars alerts you mentally to any creature or individual who enters within a range of 30 meters of you and has hostile intent.]
[Circle Of Dreams available skill slot:]
[Detect Poison: Your Inspect skill will now indicate if an individual is poisoned.]
[Circle Of Tempest available skill slot:]
[Fog Cloud: Using the power of the tempest you can create a thick fog up to 30 meters around you, that makes it difficult to see, has little to no effect on entities that do not rely on sight.]
[Circle of the Harvest available skill slot:]
[Spectral Vision: Grants you the ability to see any entities not of the mortal plane that have the ability to hide from normal sight.]
[Circle of the Land Skill available skill slot:]
[Faerie Fire: Upon use of this spell all entities within 30 meters are outlined with a color depending on if they are friendly, neutral or hostile, additionally entities that are invisible are also displayed.]
[The Circle of the Shepherd available skill slot:]
[Spirit Vision: Grants you the ability to see spirits that are normally invisible to the naked eye and therefore communicate with them.]
“Hmm some interesting skills there, unfortunately I only have three skill points to use so which should I go for.” John started to mumble to himself.
“Cosmic Alert and Faerie Fire both look like they could work well together, especially since they seem to detect enemies who are stealthed, I will take those two for extra security.”
[Learned passive: Cosmic Alert.]
[Skill point: 3>>2]
[Quest Update]
[Place 5 skill points total into your skill trees: 2/5]
[Learned Class Spell Faerie Fire.]
[Skill point: 2>>1]
[Quest Update]
[Place 5 skill points total into your skill trees: 3/5]
“Now for the last one, Fog cloud would work well with faerie fire, detect poison I am not to bothered about right now since I can just cast abolish poison on someone and see if it removes anything, I will get that later if I have spare points or after seeing what skill becomes available at level twenty-five.”
“Spirit vision and spectral vision seem similar however spirit allows me to see the spirits and spectral allows me to see entities not of this world.”
“I am kind of leaning towards spectral vision for the simple fact that the great goddess or Tia determined that I needed druidic avenger which is strong against entities not of this plane.”
“Does she know something I don’t?”
“Since I can’t decide, let's follow my gut and go with spectral vision.”
[Learned Skill: Spectral Vision.]
[Skill point: 1>>0]
[Quest Update]
[Place 5 skill points total into your skill trees: 4/5]
“Ok, now let’s go see the council.”
With that sorted he made his way towards the council of seven’s gazebo.
“Welcome Vincarna, how can we assist you?” Tiriana asked.
“I would like to request you to transport me to Redwood Forest, I have some business to take care of in the western continent.” John replied.
“Of course that won’t be a problem, also it happens that you have arrived just as we have finished conducting the investigation into the illegal spell tombs.” Triana replied while placing the spell tomb John had provided them on the table in front of her.
“Oh what did you find out?” John asked curiously.
“We have determined that the spell tomb is indeed our wild morph ability, with it a non Druid would be able to learn the spell, which also explains how you learnt the moonfire spell before you became a Druid.” Triana began to explain.
“However, while it is indeed a Druid spell, the spell tomb was not created by a Druid.”
“How can you tell?” John asked.
“When any object has a spell engraved onto it, such as a druid spell is written onto a spell tomb, a remnant of the magic belonging to the one who did the engraving remains behind.” Triana explained.
“From this remnant we can tell that whoever engraved the spell tomb was not a Druid.”
“Can you tell what class they belonged to?” John asked.
“Unfortunately not, while we are familiar with almost every class available, we have not encountered them all and therefore have no past experience to recognise this remnant from.” Triana answered.

A fair distance away from the council's gazebo Bengal was paying attention to the conversation between John and Triana while Fanta slept beside her focussed on recovering as quickly as possible.
Bengal had paid no attention to the tomb John had given to the council before because she was too concerned with healing her daughter.
Now however she used her senses to scan the tomb before she gave a small smile and mumbled.
“Interesting, I wonder how you will solve this problem young Vincarna, I can’t wait to see.”
***
“What would you have me do then since you are unable to identify who engraved the spell tomb.” John asked.
“All we can do is ask you and the other Druids to keep alert to any clues regarding the perpetrators behind these spell tombs.” Triana answered.
[Class Quest Notification]
[Illegal Druid Spell Tombs Part 3 (Chain Quest) (Normal)]
[The council of seven have investigated the Druid spell tomb you provided them with however they were not able to learn much other than it appears to have not been engraved by a druid.]
[Quest Goals:]
[Keep alert to any clues or information you may come across that will lead you to the perpetrators.]
[*Notice* This quest will be available to all Druids so there is the possibility that someone may complete it before you]
[Quest success reward:]
[Piece of Rare (Blue) Gear]
[Quest Failure punishment:]
[Depending on the situation the quest may be closed off to you if you are not the one to complete it.]
[Do you accept the quest?]
[Yes] [No]
“Very well I will do my best to discover the perpetrators behind this.” John answered.
[Quest Accepted]
“Very well, are you ready to depart?” Triana asked.
John was about to reply when Bengals voice suddenly echoed over from the distance.
“Wait a moment young Vincarna, I wish to make a request of you since you are heading to the eastern continent.”
“Of course Lady Bengal, if you will excuse me for a moment councilors.” John replied before bowing to the council and heading off towards where Bengal and Fanta were located.
As John approached the two, Fanya’s nose started to twitch before she woke up and gave a wide yarn showing her sharp teeth after which she looked towards John as her tail started to twitch slightly.
As Bengal saw this she gave another one of her smiles.
“Vibcarna, why have you come?” Fanya asked.
“Your mother wants to make a request of me, but more importantly how are you Fanya? Are you healing well?” John replied.
“Mothers says I am healing well but if you ask me it is going slowly.” Fanya replied.
John wasn’t sure if tigers could pout but off they could then Fanya was pouting now.
“I am sure your mother knows best in this matter.” John replied with a smile before turning to Bengal and asking.
“How might I assist you Lady Bengal?”
“Since you are heading towards the eastern continent I would request you to hunt some silver deer meat for me.” Bengal replied.
“Silver deer?” John asked.
“Yes, it is a special deer that is only found in the eastern continent, not only is its meat delicious but it has strong healing properties because of the herbs the deer likes to eat.” Bengal replied.
“I see, so this deer meat will help Fanya in her recovery.” John replied.
“You are correct, however so the meat is not spoiled you can not use magic on it since that has an effect of weakening the healing properties of the meat.” Bengal replied before adding l.
“Actually let’s make this another part of your tiger training, you have to kill the deer in your tiger form and return the corpses to me as proof.”
[Class Quest Notification]
[White Tigers Training Part 1 (Chain Quest) (Rare)]
[It would seem that for some reason the white tiger of the West Bengal has taken it upon herself to train you into becoming a true white tiger.]
[Bengal asks that you hunt a Silver Deer which can only be found in the eastern continent and return with its corpses, however she has stipulated that you can not use magic and must hunt it in your tiger form.]
[Quest Goals:]
[Hunt and kill a Silver Deer: 0/1]
[Hunt the Silver Deer in your Tiger Wild Morph: Not yet complete]
[Quest Success Reward:]
[Bengal’s increased interest.]
[The next chain of the quest.]
[Quest Failure Penalty]
[Bengal will lose interest in you and not provide you with any more quests while returning to the western continent.]
[Do you accept this quest?]
[Yes] [No]
“Very well lady Bengal I will be sure to return with a silver deer to aid Fanya’s recovery.” John announced.
[Quest Accepted]
“Be sure that you do, young Vincarna.” Bengal said.
“Bye Vincarna, be sure to return soon ok.” Fanya said in a sad tone.
“I will Fanya, see you soon.” John replied before he turned on his heel and headed back towards the council's gazebo.
“Finished your talk with Lady Bengal?” Triana asked?
“I have, thank you.” John replied.
“Very well then if you're ready I will transport you to Redwood Forest, once there look for smoke and that will indicate which direction you should head in to reach Redwood Village.” Triana said.
“Thank you for your guidance.” John replied with a small bow causing Triana to smile before she raised her hand pointing it at John before saying.
“Teleport Redwood Forest”
After which a magic circle formed under John and ten seconds later he vanished from the emerald enclave.
