Miss Beautiful C.E.O and her system

Chapter 142: Even the police vehicle wasn't spared

Tang Ziyi held the microphone and spoke out. "This will be our last warning! Don't even think we don't dare. I really wish the others would act similarly when we try to rescue you at that time, blocking the road and delaying our mission."

What Tang Ziyi said, definitely came out of her heart, resonating with the rest of the girls to nod at her words.

They could understand, that someone a bit slow to react to move or had no space to maneuver but to simply act as a blockade was another level of people behaving worse than animals.

Perhaps the violence expressed by the two large police armored truck deterred other entitled road users or brought conscience back into their heads. Tang Ziyi could easily see a long corridor available for their transport.

The lady driver gunned down and the speed of two Aegis increased. Tang Ziyi found a wide gap between the vehicles at the front and from the back across three lanes, and directed her driver to change the lane.

"Take us through the gap and drive from the most left lane." Tang Ziyi said it out with a reason. She saw a few hundred meters ahead three lanes had become two lanes—more orderly than the impatient drivers behind.

On the leftmost part of the area, there was an available corridor, enough for their motorcades to pass through fast, and soon the remaining 2 kilometers was over under 5 minutes.

Both the driver and Tang Ziyi could see from their vehicle's height a police checkpoint, the sole culprit, who slowed down their journey. Of course, the two Aegis, they drove were obviously noticed by the police officers at the checkpoints.

The sirens' light and sound couldn't be more recognizable. Tang Ziyi discovered two of them standing in front of their path, signaling her group to stop.

She furrowed her brows and a slight sneer appeared on the corner of her lips.

"Instructor Tang." Her driver was asking for what to do next. Obey the police stop gesture or keep on going.

"Don't stop. Keep moving forward. Ram that police vehicle to its companion and cleared the road." Tang Ziyi simply replied. She was also narrowminded, after knowing these officers blocked this road on purpose.

"But Instructor Tang, these are the police officers. What if they don't move over." The driver was referring to the officers who were waving their arms at the convoy.

"They'll move."

"I-I think not, Boss!" Seeing Tang Ziyi didn't change her words, the driver decided to trust her and retained the speed, no slowing down, her grip on the wheel steady.

The two police officers gesturing the vehicle ahead belonging to unknown departments to heed to their stop signs, were ignored. The two on foot weren't stupid to stand in the way of the vehicle.

When the police armored truck menacingly rumbled toward them, the two fled to the side, narrowly missing their bodies but the wind carried by the vehicle, still pushed them to the ground, eating dust and dirts in addition to the exhaust gas left behind.

Tang Ziyi quickly added whether her driver understood or not. "Remember to ram the vehicle to another. Disable them."

As soon as her words fell, the driver instantly obeyed her command subconsciously, flooring the accelerator.

Bang!

The instant the front part slammed the police sedan parked diagonally, she turned her wheel toward the right.

Tires screeched as the black armored truck T-boned the police sedan, dragging the poor vehicle along. Its wheel drawing skid marks on the asphalt road.

Another bang!

The dragged car made a collision with another police sedan and threw both of them until it hit the metal rail on the side with surging momentum.

Still pressing on the the accelerator, her driver immediately turned the steering wheel left after slamming away the police sedans blocking the road out of the way.

The engines revving loud and high, the truck crumbled away metallic pieces out of the police sedan as it swerved left, leaving the two pathetic sedans quivering.

The two black massive armored trucks smashed through the checkpoint, their sirens wailing and their emergency light flashing, leaving havoc behind their tails as they rushed out.

The police officers who were previously busy escaping from the dangers, patted their uniforms and watched Tang Ziyi's motorcade in disbelief as they thundered past.

Looking at their own vehicles, the previous truck had obviously disabled them. Creaks from the sedan, as it shook sideways from the remaining energy.

Shattered glasses from the two police sedans and some unknown metallic debris sprawled on the road, making it impossible for the traffic to continue safely.

People around the incident also regained their consciousness as they were also at a loss. What did they just witness?

A police car hitting another police car. Was it the hatred between the departments? The prank was too big, right?

Most got out of their car, confused and puzzled by the event. Some brave men trotted quickly toward the police who were recovering to provide help. Some as expected in modern society, captured the moment with their phones for media attention.

Chaos erupted among the officers when they realized what happened. Radio calls were made and some wanted to chase, only to discover afterward, that their vehicles were disabled.

Luckily, no one was injured apart from some residue fears. Or, was it really luck?

Inside the Police Control Room, Yang Qingyue watched the event unfold with wide eyes in shock, her mouth agape.

Some officers covered their mouths at Tang Ziyi's violence, never expecting their support en-route was a ruthless group.

Perhaps, only Cai Ning understood the reason why Tang Ziyi chose a violent option and patted Yang Qingyue's back. "I think what they choose to do was the best."

Yang Qingyue's corner of the mouth twitched. The thought of having to wipe clean her support's ass daunted her but she heaved a sigh in relief at the progress of rescuing her comrades.

After a while, contemplating carefully, she also figured Tang Ziyi's method was the most optimum. Glancing around, she found her subordinates cheering up for Tang Ziyi's action, wishing they themselves were in the truck experiencing the shock and awe.

Yang Qingyue and Cai Ning shook their head in amusement. After all, bad news and obstruction from the several district police stations had given everyone a negative view.

They had long wanted to teach those bastards, who were part of the obstructing their rescue progress of their colleagues, a lesson. Tang Ziyi's action happened to satisfy their wish.

Yang Qingyue coughed and grabbed her headset as she spoke to Tang Ziyi's group. "Bravo, you better be good, supporting my boys and girls. Otherwise, I won't wipe your ass."

"Solid Copy, Command. Don't worry, we'll bring them back in one piece." A reply instantly came back, drawing chuckles from her subordinates. In spite of heavy news from everywhere, Tang Ziyi's group made their day.

…..

The two culprits who escaped from the mess went unhindered after passing through the checkpoints. No longer were there unnecessary traffic jams and blockades.

Swerving left and right like a flash of black lightening with blue and red colors, the convoy increased its speed to 90 km per hour, entering the urban areas.

Su Ruomei's Aegis went ahead of Tang Ziyi's after smashing the previous police vehicles' screws off into non-existence.

Now that the obstacles slowing their team down had been left behind, the final stage remained.

Tang Ziyi had her reason, apart from her moody judgment to choose violence to break through the checkpoints. She asked her driver to disable the two police vehicles to prevent them from chasing her group and hindering the mission.

Since their mission required urgency, stopping at the checkpoint could merely complicate the situation, resulting in further delays, bureaucratic procedures, and explanations.

Even if everything went well, they might still be held for a long period of time on purpose, especially by the ones who participated in the events. So, she had considered her every move and did so with a reason.

A/N: I remember one time when I was driving by. I heard an ambulance siren from a distance and quickly looked around, not daring to push more gas and stopped after crawling a little forward at the intersection even if the light turned green. 3 seconds later, it showed up and turned right in front of me, from the wrong lane direction.

The other car beside me followed my behavior but a car behind honked me several times. You know people; I can't understand why they're too anxious. Unless one is in an emergency, it doesn't make too much of a difference between 5 minutes more or less. Drive safe.
