193 Land Of Dreams
"No, I am not anyone's." The anger rushed to my head and I bit him on the shoulder but felt like it was biting on a steel plate and could not pierce the skin.
"Hehe, don't be angry." Ao Yun stopped his hands and sat up, smiled and looked at me, "I am joking."
I looked down at my clothes and then looked at him, "Joking?"
"You wish for it not to be a joke? That's great, let's continue." Ao Yun looked exactly like a big pervert and rushed over again.
"Wait!" I hurriedly used a leg to stop him, "I believe it! A joke is just a joke!"
"Why are you not willing?" Ao Yu suddenly stopped smiling and looked at me seriously, "Is it because I am not sincere enough? Or is that I am not good enough?"
I felt suffocated in my chest, Bi Qing's face once again appeared in my eyes and gradually overlapped with Ao Yun's image, under the fluorescent lamp, his eyebrows showed faint worry and a shadow of melancholy, exuding a kind of maturity that a young person cannot exude. His eyes looked at me seemed as if they had penetrated through my body, scorching my soul, calling to something.
I slightly shivered and got up, I felt a surge of courage and a burning desire and longing, have I forgotten something? Forgotten something some stories from a very long, long time ago and forgotten some very very deep feelings.
But I couldn't dig out these missing parts from my memory. I remembered the fairy tale book I read when I was four. I remember my ambition of becoming a scientist when I was three years old. I remembered such foolish things as the two times I bed-wetted and got a beating...After going through all this, in the end, I couldn't still figure out what I was missing.
When I met Xiao Mao, Bull Devil, Yin Zi, Ao Yun, and Hua Rong, I felt a strange sense of familiarity, like we have been linked in countless ways with thin spider threads filled with gaps, but I could not fill in the holes in my heart and recover what I've lost.
"Are you talking about fairy tales?" I felt panicked in my heart.
"Perhaps it was in my dreams, but you were indeed there." Ao Yun embraced my shoulders and told me about the dream in my ear.
He said that there was a beautiful and lovely little cat demon named Hua Miao Miao. She lived leisurely life on Louying mountain, without any ambitions, only innocence. Every day she would foolishly gaze at the white clouds, roll around or lazily fall asleep on the ground. One day, the 3rd Prince of the Dragon palace went down to the human world for inspection and saw the little cat demon and fell in love at first sight. So he took her back with him to the Dragon palace and the two of them lived a happy life, catching fish every day and wandering around the ocean. From time to time, they went out of the sea to see the sunrise and sunset. The sunrise and sunset at sea are very beautiful, colorful and very exquisite, but in the eyes of the 3rd Prince, all of that beauty could not compare to the demon cat smiling sweetly.
The demon cat likes to climb onto the thighs of the 3rd Prince to sleep. She was never swayed by jewelry, but she would always jump around cheerfully for delicious fish and shrimp and meow happily. However, good things do not last forever. The cat demon was forcibly taken away by someone for 500 years and experienced a lot of suffering in the human world and eventually perished. The 3rd prince from then was never happy again, he could only then brand an imprint on the cat demon's soul and keep searching for her traces, for the two to fulfill the promise between them and live out their days in the human world. This searching went on like that for a thousand years, and finally, he found her...
He didn't care about what she looked like, didn't care about whether she had memories of their past life, didn't care whether she had forgotten her own self...as long as she could return to his arms even if it was only for a few decades.
"Isn't this dream funny?" Ao Yun raised his head and asked me, "but I am longing for this dream every day, and naively eagerly waiting for the day it bears fruit and turns into reality."
"It's not funny..." I murmured, "I have also dreamt of a little cat demon called Hua Miao Miao. She was in a fire accompanying a man who had died, the man looks almost exactly the same as you."
"That's me." Ao Yun pulled my hand again and pushed me down on the pillow again and said with deeply saddened voice near my ear, "Persistent effort overcomes any difficulty and in the end can move the Heavens. I have spent the last 1000 years waiting for you to come back to this world, alright?"
I slightly struggled a little and saw tears falling from his eyes, his tears fell on the pillow and turned into pearls.
"I have been waiting a 1000 years, decades of life and death one after another, alright?" Ao Yun kissed my lips and I could feel a slight trace of coldness, "I love your besotting eyes, love you with no complaints, naturally all the beauty in the world cannot compare with this love...just accompany me in this life Miao Miao...don't let me truly go crazy, don't let me ignore the rules of Heaven."
"Is that person really you?" I asked.
"Yes..."
"I used to be a cat demon... and was also loved you?" I softly asked.
"Yes...you loved me." Ao Yun muttered, "It's just that someone forcibly took you away in an abominable manner and deceived you. This is my eternal regret, I will not let that kind of regret happen again."
"Did I really love you?" I whispered in a low voice, I wasn't expecting anyone to answer me.
Ao Yun stretched out his slender fingers and slowly removed his shirt and turned around and showed me his firm back, there were three red disks on it, and they really looked like the reverse scales of a dragon that must not be touched. I stared at the scales and my hand touched the pearls and I suddenly felt that this was a fairytale that had become a reality.
Ao Yun stretched out his and put it together with my hand, the red ring on his finger seamlessly matched the dragon birthmark on my hand, he gently said, "This is the evidence of our love in our past life, I promised to find you."
A memory slowly resurfaced in my mind, it seems that someone used a familiar voice had incessantly kept saying in my ear, "I will come find you."
Is it him? The image in my memory was vague, but the body frame seems to be about the same.
I looked at Ao Yun and looked at the birthmark and my heart felt confused for a long time, but in front of his affectionate eyes, I was defeated. I finally believed that he was the 3rd Prince of the Dragon palace which is believed to only exist in myths, and was also convinced about his dream and was even more convinced about his love.
How can such an infatuated person be fake? Maybe I really loved him, it's just that some factors have become vague in my own mind and my silly brain is unable to make proper determinations.
Miao Miao is really a fool.
"Don't escape, don't struggle, you are mine..." Ao Yun hugged me tightly and kissed me deeply and was kissing down from my earlobe to collarbone and going lower.
I whispered, "I don't want the lights."
So Ao Yun raised his hand and waved and the fluorescent lights switch at the door went off by itself. The room was thrown into darkness, only the soft moonlight was shining in through the window on his face, the dim lighting made his features look fuzzy and seeing that made my heartbeat race again. Therefore I let go of my reservations, even though I still somewhat afraid in my heart, I did not continue to struggle and followed along with his arrangement.
MiraiSaesang's Notes: Although his feelings may not be fake, his story is fake...So it is confirmed that he was that dragon cry she heard when she died, must also have been when he put the imprint on her soul... Am I the only one who didn't think his feelings were that deep? But then again, I do believe I skipped a whole bunch of chapters before the time skip, so I may have missed out on this development (LOL my fault) ????????♀️????...but still, it's not cool to swindle your way into her heart...Also what did he mean by "ignoring the rules...", dude don't do anything stupid ????...
