Chapter 1369 Problem Here
Chapter 1369 Problem Here
Cloe fanned Raelle with her hands as they came out of the nightclub. Looking at the unusual expression on her face, she couldn't help asking, "Are you alright?"
"I will survive," answered Raelle.
"It's not your first time in a nightclub. No matter how much you hate this kind of a place, I've never seen you looking like this," mentioned Cloe. "What exactly happened?"
"I don't know," replied Raelle. "I just did not like anything inside. The music was too loud. The perfumes were making me... queasy. I think that's the feeling of nausea. And don't get me started on people trying to invade my personal space."
Cloe glanced at Xiang Wai who was pretending like she couldn't see anything. No, it was almost like she was trying to act like she was not even there.
"It's all her fault," Cloe pointed at Xiang Wai. "It's all her bad idea."
"How would I know she'd feel sick here?" asked Xiang Wai in shock. "I am not clairvoyant. There is no way for me to know about this, don't you guys think so?"
"It's okay," Raelle raised her hand to stop them both from continuing. "It's no anyone's fault. Even though I don't like going clubbing, it's true that I've been to nightclubs before. I have never felt this way before though."
"Is something wrong with your health?" asked Cloe. "I don't think so," Raelle didn't think she was sick. It didn't feel like that. She only felt stifled inside. But now in fresh air, she was all fine again. Maybe some kind of weird energy was messing with her inside. "Anyway, don't ruin your night because of me. You can pick another place."
"Where can we go now?" asked Xiang Wai.
"You decide," replied Raelle.
"I did and that's how we ended up here," reminded Xiang Wai. "So, now, it's up to you."
"I don't know what are the options."
Xiang Wai sighed and said, "I also don't know. Ask your perfect assistant if she has any ideas."
"I have a list, thank you for asking," said Cloe as she took out her phone and pulled out the note she had made before. "This is why one should always come prepared."
"Was that a reminder for me?" asked Xiang Wai.
"It's a reminder for the wise," replied Cloe and smiled at her. "Okay, so we have spa night."
"Spa night?" repeated Xiang Wai before Raelle could even speak. "No! What's fun in that?"
"Have you ever been to a spa before, Major?" asked Cloe.
"Do I look like a fool? I have. Even though it happened when I was undercover but I did experience it."
"Oh, that explains it," said Cloe. "I was wondering how a person like you ended up at a spa and why? Now, it makes sense. So, now we have wine tasting on the list."
"No!" said Xiang Wai.
"Why not?"
"What's fun in that?!" shouted Xiang Wai. "What kind of elegant interests are you into? I'm not following. Pick another one."
Cloe took a deep breath, "We can go to a live concert or a comedy show."
"Again, too many people for my sister's liking."
"You've gotten wiser."
"Once is enough for me to learn." n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om
Cloe shook her head and went on, "Karaoke!"
"Are you forgetting that my sister can't even recognize the songs her own best friend sang?"
Cloe took a deep breath again. "Let's visit a psychic!"
Both Raelle and Xiang Wai gave her a look in response.
"Now what? It's a good idea. Something different."
"You know what else is different?" asked Xiang Wai.
"What?"
"We can have a picnic on the roadside. Would you like to try that with me? I believe it'd be one of kind experience for you."
Cloe rolled her eyes at her and Raelle snatched the phone from her hand to look through her list. She read through it all and then said, "Let's go to a cooking class."
"Cough!!!" Xiang Wai and Cloe gave Raelle a horrified look.
"What did you say, sister?"
"Cooking class," replied Raelle plainly.
Xiang Wai laughed and slowly laughed even louder before saying, "You want to go to a cooking class in that dress?"
Raelle looked down at her dress and then said, "I can buy a new one. There is a mall right there."
"Sis, then if we can buy a dress for you there to change into. Why not just go shopping and have fun? What's fun in the cooking class?"
"We won't know what's fun in the cooking class until you go there," was Raelle's response.
"I did not put so much effort into your look just so you could go to some cooking class!"
"Raelle, are you really fine?" asked Cloe.
"What now?"
"How come you want to join a cooking class? Do you even know the C of cooking? What are you even gonna do there?"
"What do people go to cooking class for?" asked Raelle. "I'd do what they'd do."
"But why would you?" asked Xiang Wai.
"Because I want to learn how to make a cake," replied Raelle.
"You learn how to bake a cake in a baking class," said Cloe. "Not in a cooking class, Chief."
"Isn't it all done in the kitchen? Why the discrimination?" Raelle didn't know why there was even an argument here about this. She could not believe they even had to lecture her about this.
"There is a very big difference between the two," said Xiang Wai. "First learn the difference between cooking and baking before even considering to join a cooking class. There are chefs and pastry chefs. They both can't do just everything. Anyway, I am not taking you to one. What if Aunt got the air of it? Won't I be digging my own grave?"
"Then let's have a game night," said Raelle. "You all can't even plan how you are gonna celebrate."
"We do know. We could go eat together but you won't like that," replied Cloe. "We came here to dance but you don't like that either. You are the problem here, Missy!"
