Chapter 12 Are They Dim, or Just Innocent?
Chapter 12 Are They Dim, or Just Innocent?
“Hehe, so there’s a way to make breasts go vwoom; I wonder if Sir Belvant will be pleased. I can’t wait to try it.”
Paying no attention to who may be listening, the young maiden muttered something fairly immodest once she returned to her room. Rubbing her own chest, she could only mutter “Huh, it feels a little different” and tilt her head in puzzlement.
“Let’s see, didn’t Sir Belvant scoop them up more from below like this… It was more like he grasped the entire thing huh? Humph, I suppose you need large palms to skillfully cover them like that, and my hands just aren’t that big.”
Remembering those gentle, warm, and just a bit mean-spirited hands massaging her breasts, Marietta felt a somewhat strange and sweet sensation grow within her, making her sigh.
“If only I had paid more attention to the technique so I could do it myself. However, as expected of an esteemed general, he saw through my worries and created a tactic against them in moments. His knowledge is truly splendid.”
Your reverence is a bit mistaken, Marietta
“I wonder if that feeling of my chest being hot and my body sort of itching means they’re growing…?”
That would be a no.
“But, it’s still a bit embarrassing how much Sir Husband had his way with my chest, so I’ll just keep that a secret.”
Good call.
“My Lady, the tea has been prepared.”
“Thank you, Sierra.”
At the invitation, Marietta took her seat at the table with a red face.
“Hehe, I was given tea a short while ago as well, though not much ended up wetting my throat.”
Seeing Marietta’s improved complexion and mood, Sierra gave a soft sigh of relief that her master was doing better, even if she did not know what had occurred during the afternoon.
“It is my deepest pleasure… My lady, are you not unwell?”
“Unwell? No, it seems I’m feeling better today. Just earlier, Sir Belvant brought me along to various places, and it was awfully enjoyable. However… That’s right.”
Come tomorrow, I’ll likely want to see Sir Belvant again, and become lonely all over again.
They had only just separated, and already the desire to see him again was intolerable. Trapped completely by the illness called love, Marietta hung her head and sighed.
“It is not appropriate to be too selfish. Since I am also an adult, I must endure.”
“My lady…”
It’s because of the general, because he’s been harsh to her, right! That she’s being forced to endure!
Sierra, under the impression that Marietta was a heartrending victim of a cruel arranged marriage, silently dabbed at the corner of her eyes.
Although Marietta was already feeling the sting of her need to visit Belvant, and felt driven to hasten the marriage preparations along, today she was busy preparing for a different bit of festivity the coming evening. Moreover, since this event would be her debut in Oltaire, naturally she would attend together with Belvant. She would receive his escort, in fact.
In order to present a mature demeanor this evening, she wore a dark, glossy dress with a simple A-line figure decorated with complex lace patterns and glittering glass beads, and some supportive underwear pushed her slightly lacking chest into a somewhat more flattering prominence. Her golden hair was combed out until it shone, then pulled up and skillfully decorated with white roses, blue lilies, and small pearls. Across her chest was a necklace of ice blue Oltaire diamonds, their radiant glow matching the set of earrings she had received from Belvant. The simple style together propelled Marietta’s own natural beauty to the forefront, and those nearby wondered if she wasn’t actually a true queen of fairies.
In order to avoid presenting an awkward image when coupled with the thirty year old Belvant, Sierra had been in charge of preparing Marietta’s mature look, and now she nodded in assent.
“You are a terrific beauty, my lady.”
Sierra gave her final affirmation of Marietta’s preparation with confidence.
“Excellent, thank you Sierra. With this, there should be no issue standing with Sir Belvant, correct?”
Sierra smiled as Marietta examined her reflection in a full length mirror.
“I think he’s the one who doesn’t deserve to stand next to you though.”
Her true feelings leaked for just a moment, but she hid them with a shake of her head.
My lady is more than that uncivilized soldier deserves. However, that’s not something I can say. My lady is enduring to the best of her ability, and I must support her fully as her maid.
The loyal attendant, despite the heartbreak weighing upon her consciousness, chose to uphold her duties.
“Miss, General Fargus has arrived.”
Once he was announced, Belvant entered Marietta’s room.
“Oh, Sir Belvant…”
Catching sight of him once again, Marietta’s tongue was tied.
Belvant was dressed in black formals from shoulders to shoes with a golden sash flowing diagonally across his torso, the medals hanging from his chest completing his image of a war hero.
Belvant’s strong, towering body was amply intimidating to begin with, and the sharp glint in his eyes, as though he were preparing to finish off a sworn enemy, was the final nail in the coffin. Any weak willed individuals who found themselves in his way would flee barefoot through the woods to escape, and even Sierra’s feet were frozen at his arrival.
Marietta’s eyes, however, viewed the scene with pink-tinted goggles. She found her beloved fiance’s fearless appearance so attractive (Marietta was nothing if not persistent) that her breath caught in her throat before soon growing ragged.
Oh. My. Goodness! H-h-how, just how dreamy can he get! Mmm, how can my sir husband be so attractive! That uniform is just, oh, I can’t even bear it, he is above and beyond my type, I think I’m getting dizzy.
Marietta struggled to get her breathing in order, staggering as she pinned her mouth closed. Belvant quickly closed the distance between them and supported her shoulder.
“Are you alright? Has your physical condition not yet recovered?”
Fuaaa, Sir Belvant’s scent is…
Was it the smell of soap, or his natural fragrance, this aroma that stuck close to his body? Marietta unintentionally sucked in a breath, and grew bright red in embarrassment.
“No, I am fine, though, Sir Belvant…”
Fidgeting, she murmured in a voice too soft for Belvant to hear “s-so dreamy”.
“Hm?”
“Extremely attractive! I, you, oh how can say it…?”
Belvant was at a loss for words.
Even at the best of times, Belvant would have been stunned by Marietta’s lovely charm, but just the other day he had luxuriantly assaulted the peaks of her soft chest, and now she appeared before him wielding a mature aura many times more charming than her usual appearance. At her rose colored face and adorable words, the wild beast inside him let out a roar that seemed to pierce through his very being.
At that moment, he wanted nothing more than to hold her close, to kiss her, to push her down and do all sorts of delicious things. He wanted to keep this adorable creature for himself, and himself alone, to wrap her in his arms and hide her away there forever.
His arms trembled as he fought to pin down these troublesome innermost thoughts, and his eyes blazed with a fiendish glare.
“Marietta, you are most certainly a fascinating beauty. How can I say it, I… Just want to eat you whole.”
Now now Belvant, even if you’re inexperienced in flattering women, this is too much. However, in the face of Belvant’s ferocious, feverish eyes, Marietta only sweetly tilted her head.
“Oh, I am not confident I would be particularly delicious though.”
“I think you would be undoubtedly, frightfully delicious.”
Sierra had gone pale at the words “want to eat you whole”.
Is he a man-eating demon?! Or else, does he mean sex?! Either way, both are unthinkable!
“I-I feel we had better start making our way to the evening party soon!”
Sierra shouted, judging that she needed to get the princess to a public location immediately in order to protect her body.
