Lunar Supremacy: The Original Alpha

Chapter 263 Reunion

The atmosphere grew tense as the stone remained unresponsive.

Whispers and speculative glances were exchanged among the gathered crowd. The anticipation in the air was evident, and the words spoken reflected a mixture of doubt and hostility .

"Is she really telling the truth?" one person murmured, their skepticism evident.

It was clear that some were questioning the authenticity of her words, wondering if there was any validity to the claims made.

"Is Fate intervening once again?," another voice chimed in, carrying a sense of worry.

The notion that fate might be at play added a layer of complication to the situation.

"Let's just wait and see for now"

Seconds turned into minutes but the stone remained silent, the initial anticipation began to wane. Some exchanged disappointed glances, while others maintained a cautious optimism, waiting for a sign that might still come.

As the silence in the room continues, the focus shifted away from the Moonlight Sanctuary, the original reason for the gathering.

The notion that Fate had once again come into play was a game-changer, overshadowing any previous concerns and prompting a heightened sense of urgency.

But in the midst of their anxiety, Saintess Agness stood with a proud expression on her face, seemingly untouched by the tumult around her.

Her demeanor carried a confidence that bordered on defiance, as if her connection to the supposed vision from Fate had fortified her stance.

"Do you believe me now?" she asked, her voice cutting through the silence like a beacon of clarity. Her words were tinged with vindication, an affirmation that she had been truthful about receiving a vision from Fate.

King Aquanos sat in contemplative silence, his mind working through the options before him. Aware of the gravity of the situation, he turned to the second and third ranking members of the assembly, employing telepathy to privately seek their counsel.

"What should we do?" he inquired.

"Fate emerging would put us all at risk," the woman in golden attire reply, her mental voice reflecting concern.

Her regal appearance and the crown with plant-like motifs marked her as Itzel, the reigning queen of the Ancient Mayan Civilization, a significant power within the union.

Her appearance exuded a sense of natural authority, and her words carried weight. Her assessment of the situation indicated that they needed more time to complete a certain task or plan, the details of which remained unspecified.

"How much time do we need?" Another voice joined the conversation, this time belonging to an elderly man whose appearance contradicted his profound strength. Zang Lee, the Sect Master of the Heavenly Dragon Sect, was a figure respected for his martial prowess and experience.

"We need at least a year," Itzel's voice resonated.

The plan had been a long time in the making, a response to the inescapable grip of Fate that they believed could never be broken as long as they remained on the planet.

Instead of attempting the impossible task of defying Fate, their strategy was to escape it altogether by venturing into space. The cooperation between the Atlantis, Mayan Civilization, and Heavenly Dragon Sect was instrumental in constructing a spaceship capable of supporting life in the cosmos.

The enormity of their endeavor was clear, considering the challenges associated with such an ambitious project. Their willingness to leave behind their terrestrial existence and embark on an uncharted journey reflected how much they hated Fate.

"Let's eliminate Moonlight Sanctuary," Itzel's mental voice cut through. Her resolve was unwavering as she suggested that eliminating the Moonlight Sanctuary should be their best option.

She prioritized their plan over any random organization.

"I agree with her," Zang Lee's words echoed Itzel's sentiment.

"Alright, let's get rid of Moonlight Sanctuary to appease Fate." Aquanos replied.

But as he was about to make the critical announcement regarding their decision, a sudden interruption shattered the moment.

A low, ominous rumbling sound reverberated through the city of Atlantis, disrupting the proceedings and casting a pall of unease over the room.

"What's going on outside?" Aquanos's voice echoed with a hint of concern. This was his own city, and he knew that not even an earthquake could breach its barrier.

Before an answer could be given, one of his trusted subordinates stepped forward, bearing news that sent shockwaves through the assembly.

"My king, we have received a report that a massive space fluctuation is attempting to breach our city!"

"Who had the audacity?!" King Aquanos stood up, his anger evident in his eyes. This place had stood as the pinnacle of advancement on the planet, and the news that someone had dared to launch an attack against it was almost unbelievable.

As the rumbling intensified, the urgency to understand the situation grew. Aquanos's voice cut through the tension, urging action.

"Let's check what is happening outside!"

With urgency, the representatives hurried to leave the building and assess the unfolding situation. Their powerful bodies allowed them to reach the scene in a matter of moments, where they were confronted with a disconcerting sight.

A tear in space itself had manifested, akin to the slow cracking of glass.

CRACK….CRACK…CRACK..

"It's coming !" One of the representative shouted ,as if to remind everyone of the looming threat before them.

CRAAAAAAACK!

The tension in the air escalated as the space crack finally gave way, forming a giant black hole.

The very fabric of reality seemed to warp and contort before the eyes of the observers. Anticipation and apprehension gripped them all, as they braced themselves for what might emerge from the newly formed abyss.

But As the black hole spiraled and churned, a sight that defied imagination unfolded before them.

Instead of an army or an expected force, a colossal black, spiky hand emerged from the void.

Its sheer size cast a chilling shadow over the city, capturing the attention of everyone present.

"What the hell is that thing?" someone exclaimed, their voice trembling with disbelief and alarm. The enormity of the hand alone was enough to dwarf even the tallest skyscrapers, leaving everyone dumbfounded.

But it wasn't just the size that was alarming. The black arm exuded an overwhelming power, causing the very space around it to vibrate and distort. The implications of this entity's strength were clear for everyone to see.

Realizing the gravity of the situation, King Aquanos snapped into action.

"Activate our defense mechanism!" he commanded, his voice resonating with authority.

And as if following his command, the sun-like structure above the tower responded. The air around it shimmered and crackled with energy, casting a golden radiance that enveloped the area. The hum of power grew, resonating like a heartbeat of determination in the face of the unknown threat.

"Activate," he commanded .

With a sudden surge, the energy within the structure began to converge. It was as if the very essence of the shimmering light had been harnessed, drawn together to create a focal point of immense concentration. The air trembled with the intensity of the gathering energy, its brilliance blinding and breathtaking.

SWOOOOSH!

In a mere blink of an eye, the culmination of their efforts materialized into a blinding beam of pure golden energy.

SWOOOOSH!

The beam shot forth from the sun-like structure with an explosive force. Its trajectory was precise, guided by the urgency to neutralize the looming black arm that threatened their city.

It streaked across the distance with breathtaking speed, its brilliance cutting through the darkness like a radiant spear. The air itself seemed to part in its wake, forming a temporary corridor of light as it surged towards its target.

BOOOOOOM!

That was the sound everyone had anticipated, yet no such noise reverberated. Instead, the beam of light vanished the moment it drew near the black hands.

"What the hell happened ?"

The absurdity of the situation was undeniable. The beam, a representation of Atlantis offensive power, had been negated as if it were nothing. The realization that the beam  had been effortlessly nullified by the immense black hand left a lingering sense of shock.

With the failure of their initial assault and the recognition of the overwhelming power possessed by the colossal black hand, Razu's resolute voice cut through the tense atmosphere. His words carried a sense of urgency and bravery as he made his intentions clear.

"Let's attack it together," he declared, his body radiating an intense hot air that signaled his preparation to unleash his Asura Mode. This transformation, which multiplied his strength but left him weakened once its duration ended, was a testament to his unwavering resolve to confront the gigantic threat before them.

Despite the immense size disparity between Razu and the colossal black hand that loomed before them, his confidence remained unshaken.

Asura Mode was more than just a power boost; it was akin to tapping into the depths of one's inner rage and ferocity, the very essence of a berserk warrior. It represented a willingness to push one's limits to their extreme, even in the face of an adversary of unknown strength.

"I will lead the charge; follow me." His war cry echoed in the surrounding.
