Chapter 82: Taming Dark Servant (3)

Chapter 82: Taming Dark Servant (3)

"Man, I'm tired of using my damn healing stones on this guy," said Clint, peering down at the mortally wounded figure who was lying on a bed. "Do you have any idea how damn long it took me to get this?"

Clint had spent the whole of yesterday, doing things he liked. After all, it had been years since he was freed from the system's incarceration. It was about time he got to be free for a while.

He couldn't have Jin just die on him. Because if that should that happen, he'll be placed back into the system's solitary confinement, which, he of course loathed.

He held a ruby-like object; in his hand as he peered down at Jin. "How'd he even get hurt anyway? Let me guess; he went seeking out people in the streets again?"

Ashton looked at him, serious. "No. He was fighting a creature. We had no idea how the creature was summoned, but," he glanced at Sylvia, "Sylvia and I had managed to break down the door in timeand we got to see it before it fully disintegrated, right Sylvia?"

Sylvia was in the corner of Jin's room; looking at the pictures on the wall of Jin when he was only little. The smile she saw in that picture was one of a kinda thing that she may never see again. And she blamed herself.

She turned around and looked at Ashton. It wasn't safe for her to be there; but she had her mind made up. She was opting to stay amidst Jin's crazy worlda world she could not delineate.

"Yeah," she said, folding her arms. "The creature was four legged. Never got to see its head; but it did look like a black dog with not a strand of fur." her tone was deliberate, and calmtoo calm after what she's seen in that room upstairs.

"Not a strand of fur, huh?" Clint smirked. "I take it that Jin's fought his first Beast. I wonder if he's tamed it yet."

Those words beckoned goosebumps to Ashton's pale skin. "B-Beast?" he asked. If there was this one; then there might be more to come. He didn't sign up for this. He just wanted Jin back.

"Yeah," Clint looked his nose down at him; holding his head high. "Now that he's unlocked the Dark Servant Skill, Beasts are going to be constantly summoned, and it's his job to tame 'em.

"The beasts escape the systembut these escapists are most likely Legendary Beasts. Normal beasts are foes Jin's defeated in the past; and were brought back alive again with hatred, and the activation of his skill.

"The worst part about these Beasts is that they share System Successor's level and skills. This," Clint licked his lips, "ought to be fun!" he grinned. He was overly eagerexpected, since he had nothing to do locked away in the system.

Jin was on his bed; surrounded by them. A huge hole was bore in his stomach such that it allowed onlookers to perceive his internal organs. He was getting paleAshton noticed this in that he was the one staring at Jin with the most care.

"Can you just heal him already? He's dying on us! And that stone better work, because if it doesn't he'll die before we get him to a city hospital!" Ashton ruptured at Clint.

Clint glared at him; not even moving. Ashton sensed an unfashionable ominous aura and quickly got to his senses again. "Sorry for snapping at you," he muttered.

Clint looked down at Jin, and placed the Healstone on his chest. The stone suddenly exploded, with the entire room as the radius of its wrath. As the red mist cleared, they could make out that Jin's body was radically rehabilitated.

Ashton heaved in great solace.

Jin suddenly opened his eyes, and bolted upright. He panted loudly; and roved at the people in front of him. He was literally on the verge of death. He had no idea that fight could get so difficult.

Well, it was an opponent at his level with his exact skills. He did have the height advantage; yet it had almost won. Summoning all six of his clones was the cause of his near doom.

"Bright and shine, sunny boy," remarked Clint. "You're lucky I brought your arse back to life. These healstones are extremely rare, y'know!"

Ashton looked down at him. He hesitated to take Jin's hand. "Uhm are you good Jin? Are you healed. If so, let us know what we can do to help you. I can call Dobby and Tristan, and let them bring some medicine for you on their way here. Those"

"Ashton," Jin chimes in, "I'm fine, thanks." He looked at him; plastering a smile on his face.

Ashton gasped. It's been so long since Jin's smiled in front of him. But then, his surprise died. Unfortunately, this wasn't a real smile, Ashton could tell. But you know what? He'll take it. It was a start.

Jin saw Sylvia in between the space betwixt Clint and Ashton. She was looking right at him. At first, he didn't know what to do. So, he just nodded his head at her.

Sylvia was shocked. She felt her face getting warm. She simply nodded back, and tossed her head away. She wasn't expecting him to do that.

Clint looked at Ashton, who was smiling. Then, he looked at Sylvia, who was also smiling. Having taken them into account, he erupted into loud, deep, laughter.

All of the eyes in the room fell onto Clint. He stood, jamming his hands in his pockets. His posture was horrible. His back was bent at his very young age, because he was constantly arching it on purpose. And his hands were always in his pockets.

"The red healstones," he said, "they heal your wounds and feed you with rage and negativity when in war. But when not in a battle, it does the exact opposite, but still heals you.

"I'd," he smirked, "enjoy this guy while he's still happy if I were you two. 'Cause," he glared at Ashton then Sylvia, "it ain't gonna last for long. You got three days."

The mouths of Sylvia and Ashton's parted upon hearing those words. Jin was going to be different for three days. This was perfect for them both! They both perked up.

"Guys," Jin said, standing, "Can I have five minutes of alone time? I'd be out in a few." a smile lingered on his face.

Ashton blushed. "Alright! Have all the time you want!"

Sylvia walked out of the room smiling.

Clint looked down at him. "I was about to go take a smoke outside anyway, then I'm heading out again. See ya', kiddo."

The room was empty now. Jin walked up to his door, and then locked it, with a smile on his face. He then turned around again, activating his Dark Servant.

He stretched his neckleft and right. "Alright, let's do this."

A familiar four-legged creature was suddenly beckoned, manifesting before his eyes.
