Chapter 349: 347: Go Up!
Chapter 349: Chapter 347: Go Up!
The man in the green jacket was dazed by the steel spike in his shoulder, staggering backward as the handgun in his hand dropped to the ground; the man in black next to him saw the fallen weapon and instantly sensed trouble.
In the bright beam of light, Bi Fang and Matthew had already revealed themselves; the man in black, who had dodged their advance, could see clearly—the opponents obviously had no guns, yet somehow managed to fire a shot. It was absolutely crucial not to let them pick up the weapon!
The man in black wanted to warn the man in the green jacket, but he found out that he had already been bewildered by the sudden attack, utterly failing to react in time.
Damn it!
Seeing the green-jacketed man unreliable, the man in black turned around, holding a sawed-off shotgun to fend off the approaching enemies, but in the next second, someone in his field of vision suddenly disappeared from the light, as if he had never existed.
The light from a flashlight is invariably conical, illuminating the entire corridor but, annoyingly, not the darkness right in front of oneself.
Bi Fang pounced silently; just before landing at a forty-five-degree angle, he fiercely kicked off the ground, catapulting out from the darkness like a ferocious tiger pouncing on the two men in front of him.
Cold sweat seeped from the forehead of the man in black as he finally realized that those opposing them were certainly not mere survivors. The man in black wanted to shout, to do something to alert everyone, but it was too late!
Bi Fang, crouching low, suddenly reached out in the darkness to grab both of their ankles.
The two men lost their balance and lurched forward, but the man in black, who was accustomed to war-torn regions and was still young and quick to react, had already raised his sawed-off shotgun even before crashing to the ground.
But Bi Fang would not allow them to fight back or even scream; slightly shifting to avoid the barrel, he thrust his hands out, his four fingers curling inward while his thumb pressed against the knuckle, striking the men’s abdomens with the joints of his second fingers.
That area, the stomach and diaphragm, rich with nerves, experienced suffocating-like severe pain that shot through their nerves, immediately silencing both men.
The two men, curling up like shrimp, were smashed to the ground, and Bi Fang reached out to find that a sawed-off shotgun had fallen into his hands.
Bi Fang grasped the shotgun and spun around half a circle before tucking it into the back of his waistband; seeing the two men trying to prop themselves up, wanting to rise, he stepped forward and delivered a swift punch to their jaws.
Matthew, who had stood still with his mouth wide open, faintly heard the sound of bones cracking in the darkness and shuddered.
Bi Fang shook his hands, releasing the cloth strip from his palm along with the steel piece inside; with a heavy punch containing the metal, he broke both men’s jaws and caused concussions, leaving them motionless on the ground.
A perfect attack: from start to finish, Bi Fang maintained control without drawing any attention from others.
The commotion was everywhere, gunfire resounding all around; a small scuffle here wouldn’t attract attention, but yelling would, which is why Bi Fang struck back swiftly, taking them down before they could open their mouths.
Such a violent attack filled the onlookers with adrenaline, making them wish they could join in the fight alongside Bi Fang.
[Awesome!]
[You can always trust Master Fang, my idol!]
[Leopard-Head Zero Charge gifts the host 1 spaceship—breaking my silence again, but I still have to shout as loud as I can, Master Fang is a badass!]
[EDG is awesome!]
[????]
[Are these two guys dead?]
[No way, they just got hit a couple of times, how could they be dead?]
[You obviously didn’t see Master Fang take on a shark with bare hands]
“Did they, did they die?”
Matthew, from behind, approached the two men and, seeing them motionless, felt a tremor in his heart; not just the audience, but even he doubted whether Bi Fang had killed them.
“No, they’re just unconscious.”
Bi Fang eased the pain in his wrists; snapping the jawbones with two hits was not as simple as it looked, even with the added steel pieces and the cushioning from the cloth, the impact was still significant, but given the urgency, he no longer held back his strikes.
Matthew wanted to say more, but the sound of footsteps was closing in fast from behind. Their time was running short—they needed to evacuate quickly!
“Quick, move them out of the way!”
Bi Fang extinguished his flashlight and felt for the shotgun ammunition on the man in black, then grabbed one of their collars and headed for the corner of the wall. Right now, Bi Fang wouldn’t do anything to alert the enemy. Although it was only a matter of time before these two were discovered, delaying even a little bit was worthwhile.
A careless bandit was much easier to deal with than an alert one. This attack had caught both of them off guard.
Following closely behind, Matthew dragged the man in the green jacket by the collar across the floor and briefly checked the man’s jaw in his hand.
The feel… the feel was completely different, very…”flexible”.
It was hard to believe someone’s jawbone could be broken while they were still alive.
They covered the two men with a black cloth, then crouched beside the shelves, hastily concealed the scene, and quickly left.
Having dealt with the man in black and the one in the green jacket, all the bandits were now only behind them, which greatly increased their pace. They had also seized a pistol and a shotgun, giving them the power to fight should they encounter bandits again.
“Why didn’t you just kill them earlier?”
Bi Fang silently gestured towards the drone, the message clear without words.
“I’m not talking about that.”
Matthew, of course, knew that Bi Fang was still live streaming and couldn’t just kill at will, but that wasn’t what he meant.
When they first encountered each other, Bi Fang could have taken them both down directly with his skills. Why did he choose to evade? It was completely superfluous, right?
Bi Fang glanced at Matthew and didn’t want to say more, preferring to hurry on their way, but this was also a question on the minds of the vast audience.
“Any attack comes with risks, and besides, I hadn’t confirmed their identities at that time, it was only a suspicion. Whether to attack or not was a tricky decision.”
The two rushed out of the stairwell and finally reached the third floor.
Following his memory, Bi Fang arrived at a door, pulled out his shotgun, and fired at the door handle, sending a spray of lead pellets that left it shattered.
With a kick, the door burst open.
The beam of the flashlight swept back and forth, rows of metal cabinets came into view, and the four white walls were stained with yellow. The ceiling-mounted shower heads above were covered with rust.
Bi Fang’s guess was correct, this was the employee shower room, and the ventilation duct was just above a metal cabinet. All they had to do was open it to enter, and then they could follow the duct to the outside of the building, avoiding direct contact with the bandit gangs.
But no sooner had the two climbed onto the rack, the corridor echoed with the shouts of pursuing thugs.
“You go first!”
With hands gripping the wire mesh, Bi Fang leaped off the rack and quickly pulled down the rusty bars, even pulling off some chunks of cement.
Knowing he couldn’t help, Matthew covered his mouth and nose with a towel and dived into the ventilation duct.
Seeing Matthew disappear into the duct, Bi Fang dragged the nearby rack in front of the door, bolted it top and bottom, then tipped the rack over to brace the door.
In the corridor, the pursuing bandits sounded like hunting dogs. When they found the door they couldn’t open, they grew excited.
“We’ve found something!”
“There’s something here!”
Three people shouted loudly, quickly drawing a nearby group over. Five men arrived at the door, raised their shotguns, and kept blasting away.
Five shotguns firing in unison was practically like a barrage of cannons!
In just a few breaths, the entire door was shot to pieces, revealing the rack behind it.
Someone deliberately blocked their way!
Seeing the rack behind the door pushed over, although the room was empty and deserted, even a fool could see what was going on at this moment!
“Quick, quick, there’s someone here!”
