Little One Tears the Villain’s Script

Chapter 14

Bravely Upholding Justice – 10.000 Yuan (1)

Things were a bit complicated and thrilling.

Jiang Xing liked to make noise with his band of brothers, but did not really do anything bad. Most of his ‘brothers’ were from around the neighborhood. When they fought, they also did not cross the line, they absolutely did not dare to use knives or guns. If they really cripple or beat someone to death, it would cause a real enmity.

The incident happened more than ten days ago. Back then, Jiang Xing had been away from home for a few days and felt that it was time to come home.

By coincidence, he missed the last bus on the night he was returning to the village from the county town. In his desperation, he boldly stopped a passing car and asked if it was going to his village, and asked if he could hitch a ride. Isn’t everyone in the world one big family? Even if he had to pay, it was still fine.

The driver’s face turned ugly and livid, he glanced at Jiang Xing and harshly told him to leave. The traffic police at the side saw that they were slowing the traffic and went over to scold them. The driver didn’t want to mess with the police, and reluctantly let Jiang Xing get into the car and quickly left the scene.

But the further they went, the road became more unfamiliar, and he got further away from the way home. No matter how careless Jiang Xin was, he could still sense that something was wrong.

“Big Brother, did you take the wrong way?”

“Big Brother, this is not the way back to the village.”

“Big Brother, look at the map. Brother, check if you’re not in the wrong path. Big Brother, you–”

“Shut up!” The other guy couldn’t bear it anymore. Two strong men appeared together, tied Jiang Xing up and threw him into the trunk.

Jiang Xing was not the only one there, there was also a little boy.

Jiang Xing had gotten into a human trafficker’s car.

“Fortunately, I’m courageous and highly skilled, otherwise I really wouldn’t be able to come back home.” Jiang Xing felt afraid after the incident, and he said with righteous indignation, “Mom, tell me. Is this because society has declined and the heart of men aren’t as pure as they used to be? That kid was lucky that he met me, otherwise he wouldn’t even know where he would be taken to. That kid seemed like he couldn’t talk. When I saw him, I was reminded of when Xiaoman was smaller. Whenever she was anxious, she couldn’t say anything and could only go ‘aaa aaa’. It was really pitiful.”

Jiang Xiuemei’s face was expressionless as she listened to him until he was finished. Then she asked him, “Oh. So what about the kid?”

“I think he… escaped?” Jiang Xing said. “When I was fighting the bad guys, I told him to run away first. It wouldn’t be outrageous to say that I was bravely upholding justice right?”

Jiang Xiaoman’s eyes went wide and she immediately exclaimed, “Wow!” as she clapped her hands and praised him. “Uncle is amazing!”

“You’re really great at making up stories.” Jiang Xiumei rolled her eyes and poured cold water on his performance. “Who else would believe your bullshit other than Xiaoman?”

Jiang Xing stroked his head and sighed, no longer trying to explain.

He also didn’t know if the kid really managed to escape from the danger. If he didn’t then his ‘bravely upholding justice’ act could not be considered a success, and he would’ve taken a knife for nothing.

He lowered his eyes and saw that Jiang Xiaoman was still eagerly looking at him, obviously treating it like a story time.

Jiang Xing didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. He picked her up and sat her down on his knees, saying “My Xiaoman is a lucky star, in the future she will definitely be someone amazing!”

Jiang Xiaoman waved her small fist, “I am amazing! The system said that my status is irreplaceable, the most useful person in the world! This world definitely cannot do without me.”

System could only think, “…whatever makes you happy, host.”

Jiang Xing laughed loudly, agreeing with her.

As for who this system was, Jiang Xing did not ask.

Jiang Xiaoman often talked about the system and other inexplicable things. Ever since Jiang Xiumei asked the shaman to do the exorcism, she hadn’t rambled as much.

This system was probably her friend or some kind of small animal.
