Chapter 83: A Wife’s Jealousy
Chapter 83: A Wife’s Jealousy
Behind the door, Marius was greeted with the sight that many would envy, filling his wild spirit with a sense of ease.
There, seated calmly behind it, were his loving family members, resting in ease. Grevlin sat on the ground strangely, looking as if he were meditating. At the same time, Ria, who wore a seductive nightdress, leaned over on a cushion, her slender legs dancing back and forth in the air as she held one hand on her cheek and watched Little Rose provoke the two tiger cubs.
"Hehe, come here!" Little Rose said she tried to get the tigers to run to her, holding her small arms out and wobbling them up and down.
The two tigers ran around her, causing her to flop over on her buttocks, but rather than crying, the strong little girl picked herself up and played more.
"Mama, Blacky, and Whitey won't let me catch them; mama must punish!"
Little Rose said as she halted her steps, pointing at the tigers, it was unknown when she changed their nicknames, but one could never truly understand the workings of a child.
"Eh, okay, okay, how will I do it?" Ria said as she looked over at Little Rose, who made an adorable expression, her small finger poking her cheeks as she tilted her head in thought.
Marius stood at the door, taking all of this in with a strange expression; he felt a bit sullen as he thought inwardly, 'Look's like I've been forgotten.'
Ria snickered at this but didn't even bother to turn her head towards him, pretending not to see him, but as if Little Rose just smelled something, her tiny noses twitched as she turns her head towards the door.
Now, seeing the muscular and tall figure, Little Rose's eyes beamed as she had completely forgotten about the tigers.
"Dadda's home!" Little Rose yelled in excitement as she ran towards him, her small figure seeming a bit unstable as if she would topple over.
Marius hurriedly closed the door and entered the room, his arms reaching down and picking up Little Rose in a swift action. Now grabbing the soft and adorable girl in his arms, Marius felt as if his life was complete.
He spoke in a gentle tone, "Haha, my little daughter is good. Did you miss papa?"
Little Rose tightly held on to Marius's shirt, rubber head against his chest as she replied cutely, "I missed dadda."
Marius felt even better hearing those sweet words. He gently patted her back while walking over to Ria. Her posture remained the same, with her seductive legs playing by themselves in the air as she laid down frontways on a cushion, a single-arm resting against her chin as she stared at him with a smile.
Marius felt boiling when he saw her manner, even more so since she emanated a dense pheromone that humans couldn't compare with, her unparalleled beauty adding even more fire to his spirit.
Ria made a sly smile seeing Marius look of daze, just a succubus taking pleasure at her work, but as if she wasn't going to give him an easy time, she spoke, "Well-well, look who finally returned home, I'd have thought you'd have forgotten your family."
"What? How could I? That's nonsense!" Marius said as he sat down, trying to calm his mood; he put Little Rose on his lap and began to tickle her sides, causing her to giggle and fight back with her small hands.
"Oh, is that so?" Ria said as her legs moved back and forth even slower, the lights from the room refracting from their edges as if they were smooth and oiled up.
Marius gulped as he saw this; sweat began to run down his forehead as he saw Ria looked at her gorgeous fingernails, a trait which normally appeared only during certain occasions.
'Oh crap, she's jealous, but why? There isn't anything that I've...'
Marius was about to think something, but as if Ria could read his thoughts, her lips curved into an even slyer smile as she waved her finger, conjuring a plume of flame much like that of Little Roses.
"Hehe, Mama's playing with fire!" Little Rose said in her broken speech, her manner a bit excited.
But unlike her, despite the blazing heat, Marius only felt a surge of coldness, even more so when the flames formed images of a slender and petite young girl with a mage-like robe and a pair of lively almond-shaped eyes that glistened with pureness.
Little Rose clapped her hands when she saw the female; she pointed at her and spoke, "Wow, mana, she's so cute!"
"Yes, she truly is pretty, my adorable daughter? She's almost as cute as you," Ria said.
"Hehe!" Little Rose giggled in satisfaction, taking in the praise.
On the other hand, Marius was different; his mouth opened wide when he saw the individual, his mind sounding an alarm, 'Oh shit!'
His current state caused Ria to smile even wider. Her face turning a bit sinister as she spoke, "I see you've found yourself a good party member; she's so cute and adorable, must be nice to tour the wilderness with her, isn't that right, dear?"
"Why... why it's nothing serious, and it's not her alone; there are quite a bunch of children that are accompanying me. Besides, how could any little girl compare to my wonderful and most beautiful wife?" Marius said, taking a deep breath, calming himself as he stared at her with a charming look.
Ria snickered at this; but as if not wanting to tease him any longer; she rolled over on the cushion and leaned on her back, her legs crossing as her tongue moved over her lips. Soon, she whispered something that caused Marius to feel a surge of stronger fire in his heart.
Grevlin, who was busy meditating, opened his eyes and sighed; it was clear he knew what was going on; being the eldest child, Grevlin was the most mature in the family; he knew he wouldn't be able to feign indifference at this time. Otherwise, it would only lead to trouble considering their parents, who tended to have low self-control.
"Sister, come, let's go to bed," Grevlin said as he stood up and walked to Little Rose, who lifted her hands and replied cutely, "Okay."
Quickly, Grevlin picked up Little Rose and cast a look at both Ria and Marius, who seemed to have entered a different world. He sighed while calling away the tiger cubs and entering the 'designated' part of the room they should stay, tucking his little sister in a blanket as he rested at the other side.
The two began to play games as he even started to tell her stories, but unlike this sweet, adorable moment between brother and sister. On the outside, a series of vibrations had started, leaving the world to remain quiet for their ears as the night slowly moved by.
