My status was completely different from other hunters. While most hunters chose skills carefully according to their mana and stats, I chose them randomly without any concern. I didn't choose weapon skills for now, as I think they won't be used. Just stacking skills won't be good as I have a limited amount of money to buy them.

From the week of farming in the dungeon, I could guess per 10 dungeons clear, I get 2 skill books. Well, it also depends on luck but the average is that. Item has more drop rates, 5 items per 10 dungeons clear. Cores were dropped every time so I didn't care much about them.

Riding a train that is super fast, I reach the City of Dungeon. One of the smallest cities in this world despite having many dungeons.

The market was more bustling than in the city I was previously in. There were more hunters than common people. And some of the sellers were even F to E rank hunters.

Since there were many dungeons here, normal people didn't want to risk their life living in a city where a dungeon outbreak could happen at any time. So, many hunters replaced the common people and this city may have the largest population of hunters in the entire human world.

I came here not for F or E rank dungeon, but for D and C. I decided to explore F and E since  I came here and also to test my new spells.

As I reached the city, the first thing I did was book a taxi and rode to the nearest dungeon. The F-rank dungeon had more population than the previous dungeon.

Luckily, when I arrived there, most of the hunters were either going to leave or buying stuff from the sellers there.

I entered the dungeon and met a ferocious beast that was nothing more than a mutated bear. The bear dungeon this was, I didn't know its official name, but it didn't take long for me to clear it. And with AOE spells like lighting strikes and ice storms, the place was cleared in some minutes.

When I was on the second last floor, twenty bears rushed at me.

I flicked my fingers, and the area near me brighten. Lighting appeared above the illuminated area and strike the bear below. Half of the bear died like that and the remaining were taking their steps back.

I immediately used ice storm. A gust of freezing wind blew and became a whirlpool. As the whirlpool passed by the bear, they were frozen to death instantly.

As the skill gives continuous damage to the enemies until they heat their bodies.

As the bear died, I put their cores in the storage ring.

I reached the boss room, and a big mighty bear was there.

With continuous firebolt and frost orb, I dealt the mighty bear in seconds.

I exited the dungeon and went for another.

I spent the entire day visiting some small dungeons and cleared them. The dungeon I visited crossed 20 and I was getting hungry. When the sky turned red and the sun hid, I rode the taxi to the main area.

I booked a room in a hotel and ate a feast. 10 stacks of plates were kept outside the room, and I jumped on the bed sleeping peacefully like a baby.

The next day, I decided to visit two D-rank dungeons.

With some information, I found their name and the monster inhabiting them.

Icy Dungeon and Fiery Dungeon. One dungeon had a cold area that would freeze anyone. This dungeon had a polar bear as a monster which wasn't only big and strong, but was fast and could jump higher than one could expect.

Another had, long flaming snakes as monsters. Their agile was the main problem as one attack would be missed by their perfect crawling. They could crawl on walls and even spat fire from their body. They could easily dodge spells and were one the annoying monster to deal with.

All of my stealth skills were active and I also had activated all of my defensive spells. My defensive spell was hidden by the stealth skill and no one would be irritated by the glowness of my body since it won't be visible.

I had to deactivate the ball of protection since it creates a ball around which not only deflects magical but physical attacks so, it could collide with walls and humans.

The next day, I directly visited the D-rank dungeon. With my stealth, no one noticed me and without anyone's attention, I barged inside the dungeon.

The cold dungeon was the first dungeon I visited. I had Artic armor that would protect me from worse temperatures.

I didn't feel any cold inside the dungeon, instead, the dungeon's temperature was moderate.

I didn't have to walk too much to encounter demonic polar bears, that was their name. They had black fur and a huge body that would scare anyone.

Its demonic eye could make any human shudder, and its sharp teeth, nails, and super strength would tremble anyone.

The polar bear charged at me along with the mates behind it. Without wasting any breath, I cast ice storm and lightning strike. While lighting strike scratched their skin, the ice storm froze them. Well, the temperature was already cold, so they were frozen in a perfect ice sculpture.

But, the ice shattered and the polar bear broke through. They could adapt to ice, so they could adapt to being frozen too. I could see frozen lakes here and there and suddenly felt like I was a retard.

Sucking a cold breath, I shot explosion and firebolt. The area around the polar bear turned red and above their head, a circular magic formation formed.

It was a single formation, but the explosion it gave was pretty destructive. As the magic circle was slammed on the ground, an ear-deafening explosion occurred. The area that was in red crumbled and a small crater took place.

Due to the polar bear being adapted to ice, they were pretty weak against fire, and they died. But their body was still intact, only burnt a little. Even the explosion didn't burn them to ashes, and it seems I still need powerful skills to one-hit the stronger monster.

But, the polar bear's body disappeared and what was left was the core. Only 2 though, feeling quite disappointed, I advanced.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

An explosion occurred everywhere as I advanced on the floor. Reaching the top floor of the dungeon which was at 15, I came across the boss room.

Opening the door, I saw the big polar bear that was terrifying as one could guess. It didn't take a second for me to start casting my spell.

Lighting strike, firebolt,  electric ball, explosion, wave after wave of attacks hit the polar bear. I didn't waste another second using collapsing start.

Two black balls were released which looked condensed mass of energy. They were pitch black like blackholes and as the black ball hit the polar bear, a small explosion echoed.

The polar bear's body was pushed to the ground and couldn't even move its body. Barely, it stood staggeringly but was met with another wave of attacks.

Pitifully, the polar bear died and I obtained a D-rank skill.

Well, it will be sold as it wasn't useful to me.

I moved to another dungeon.

The fiery dungeon. Lava pits, fire ground, etc were common sights here. And I could see a pretty long snake crawling toward me.

Well, it did take some ice storm and frost ball to finish their game. The 20th-floor dungeon didn't take much to be cleared.

Reaching the final floor where the boss resided, I took a breather. I pushed the door open and met with a long snake that could devour me in one bite.

Our intense battle took place with most of it me spamming every skill I have to the snake and killing it in some minutes.

I cleared the dungeon two times in a row and again moved to the icy dungeon again as I was bored. Clearing both D-rank dungeons 10 times, I returned to the hotel and eat dinner.

I slept peacefully and went toward the C-rank dungeon.

This time, I decided to join a party.

It didn't take long for me to find a group of hunters who needed a mage. I walked toward them with a bright smile on my face and requested to join the party.
