In A Cultivation World With An Entertainment Park

Chapter 167 Endless Possibilities

Nibbana!

Miroku recalled the name of the Clever Snake Deity in his heart countless times while feeling a surge of pent-up rage flood his brain.

Dammit!

The more he listened, the more annoyed and angry he was at the bastard's plans.

It was as if he were a person of this strange world, becoming more and more desperate for the survival of humanity here.

Miroku clenched his fists hard while listening to the vision narrate all it knew of this world.

And once it was done, he again found himself back with the others.

But this time, he realized something else too.

Eh?

What were these Blue screens floating before him?

Moreover, he seemed to see that everyone here had their names floated above them, as well as something that said LV-1 (level-1).

LV?

Blink. Blink.

Miroku didn't understand everything at the moment, but he wasn't too worried.

After all, his main priority was with the Blue interface before him.

Right then, time around him seemed frozen in place.

People's smiles froze, some froze in the air while jumping, and even the Bread Butterflies and stalks of grass blowing gently in the wind seemed frozen in place too.

Miroku gazed at the scene with an unprecedented gaze that only left him stunned beyond words.

Wait!

Did this mean that all this time that he had his vision, not even a second had time by?

Oh... My... God!

How could this be?

(°0°)

His lips quivered vigorously while glancing at the interface.

You have to know that even till now, they still stayed frozen in place.

And looking at the pop-up question on the interface, Miroku had a bunch that time would only unfreeze once he was done with whatever it needed him to do.

.

[Welcome, Player! Please Confirm Your Name, or change it if you'd like.]

Okay?...

Miroku rubbed his hands together and was just about to confirm his name as it was.

But then again, after looking at all the cool names floating above everyone else around him, why should he choose a boring name?

Hmph!

He too wanted to be great.

And so, he changed his name to <The_Greatest_Village_Heir>

Miroku looked at his chosen name and nodded his head merrily.

Yes!

That's what he was going for.

~Ding!

[Name Accepted. Please Choose Gender.]

Miroku picked Male.

And before he could say Hocus Pocus, a mirror of some sort appeared before him.

~Swish!

The image he saw made him jump back in disbelief.

'Good Sorcery! Is this really me?' he questioned while touching the smooth, stunning face in the mirror.

Miroku was flabbergasted!

His current image was a tall man with brown wavy hair and broadened shoulders.

As for the man's attire, it was a simple outfit made with stiff fabric that Miroku was used to.

This attire was what they, village folks, typically wore. So it wasn't that shocking to Miroku.

[Please Choose Your Class. Note: Players can change their classes after a Level rank-up. But every time a Class is changed, they will have to pay the price.]

Oh?

Miroku frowned, not liking the sound of that.

Paying the price? Could it be that they would be weakened to some degree? Or could it be something else instead?

No! It was best for him to pick a class he could work with.

But he didn't know much about what this entire Snakes & Ladders Deity game was.

However, he decided to look through all the classes and speculate on which ones might be the best for him at the moment.

.

Classes!

So far, there were just 9: Merchant, Guard, Hunter, Healer/Poisoner, Thief, Warriors, Beast Tamers, Tunists, and Natarajas!

These were the 9 main classes. And each class also had subclasses, like the warriors with Archers, Lancers, and whatnot.

So overall, he found that there were more than 30 classes.

And now, he only wondered if what he learned here could be used out of this world.

After all, who wouldn't want to be a Poison Master or even an Alchemist?

F***!

Even learning to be a Tunist would be great as well.

Yes. All the various classes were superb.

But Miroku knew that this wasn't the time to be overly excited.

No! He had to pick a Class that would help him get to the top.

With that, Miroku's eyes darted maniacally while glancing across all classes with laser beam focus.

'Com'on Miroku, Think... Think for Heaven's sake!'

Snakes & Ladders... Snakes & Ladders... Nibbana... The Serpent Deity of Wisdom And Chaos...

Yes. Yes... Whatever Class he picked had to work along the lines of these matters somehow.

.

From the visions, he was sure these serpent creatures were truly a nightmare for anyone that faced them.

So maybe he could try being a Beast Tamer, Nataraja, or even a tunist that could confuse these beasts for a while if needed?

All these things were important.

But, this Nibbana fellow seemed a little Narcissistic, feeling as if he were the most intelligent being alive... since he was also the Deity of Wisdom.

So it could be seen that he would make people use their brain power up there.

Then maybe a Thief or a Merchant could be helpful too.

Hey!

Thieves and Merchants were one of the most innovative groups of people around.

Their shrewdness, cunning acts, complete control of their every expression, and even their ability to lie without blinking was a talent on its own.

To put it simply, people like this we're also good strategists as well, scheming their way through things and enemies at any turn.

However, relying on brainpower wasn't enough for whatever was to come.

No. Raw Strength, dexterity, speed, and agility would also come to play, as well as.

So all the other battle classes would work adequately too.

Of course, Healers or Poisoners were also crucial in this so-called Snakes & Ladders world.

Yes! Under The healer/Poisoner class, one could also choose to be a Poison Archer.

Meaning all their weapons shot would contain some level of poison in it too.

Dammit! There were so many suitable Classes to pick from, with some having higher specific attributes and vice versa.

For example, for Merchants, Intelligence was a 9/10. But for Guards, it was a 6/10.

And when it came to Skills... At Level 1, Healers had a Skill power of 6/10.

But for Natarajas, it was a 5/10... and so on.

However, in the end, Miroku finally settled with something he always wanted to be in the real world.

And that was to be a Beast Tamer!

~Ding!
