Chapter 13 A Vile Cult
Old Fru and the rest excitedly followed Chu Che into the building while exclaiming excitedly. And their gestures immediately caught the attention of various passerbys who were utterly confused by their actions.
What was going on?
Many curious onlookers found themselves coming over to glance at the building, as well as to read the words on the board too.
Eh?
What was a gaming hall?
And since when did Wenji Town have such a strange hall?
The passerbys secretly took more of the ordeal and decided to check it out later.
After all, they had their own places to go to at the moment.
As for Old Fru and the rest, they could care less about the strange eyes that people gave them.
Their eyes flickered with a strange light when they stood before the door.
Bam!
8 A.M on the dot, the door magically opened wide.
They looked at each other momentarily before smiling stupidly.
It was 8 A.M, so what were they waiting for?
Din! Din! Din! Din! Din!
They walked as fast as they could into the building as if they were rushing to the toilet.
After all, no running allowed.
So they could only take big steps into their new futures.
Everyone's bodies trembled as they hurriedly followed Chu Che's explanation and sat on the weird box artifacts (computers).
Hahahahhahaha!
This was it!
This was their ticket to leveling up!
And just like that, Old Fru, alongside 13 more guards, became his first group of customers.
But he still had 387 more to go.
Chu Che frowned and massaged his temples, deep in thought.
Where was he going to find so many people in such a short time without advertising the Park?
Should he go out and make trouble so that people can follow him here?
[My darling host, such a method is against the system's law. You are the owner of the greatest Entertainment Park ever. So how can you act like a hooligan?]
'Well, what you said seems to make sense.' Chu Che said while nodding his head.
Back on earth, he made money from playing Video games and was one of the most successful Video Game streamers.
He just sat in complete silence and played games unless he was in a team or something.
Chu Che had no concept of how businesses worked.
He got rich at 14 years old and only went out of his home for school and so on.
After high school, he refused to go to any universities since he pretty much knew what he wanted to do with his life.
So he was very clueless about how business operated.
But since the system was Almighty, then it probably knew best.
Hmm... If he couldn't go out to lure targets back onto the store like he did when playing video games, then what could he do?
Chu Che was in a dilemma.
The system, who saw that its host was easy to coax, couldn't help but wipe off a non-existent layer of sweat from its forehead.
Good thing his host was slow.
And so, just like that, an entire hour passed by in a blink of an eye.
No one other than the guards and Old Fru had stepped in again.
But all that was about to change because just outside, 3 young men stood before the building vigilantly.
It was time to take a look at this so-called gaming hall.
.
Bho Su, Yan Jin, and Bihn Owo steeled their hearts as they read the rules one more time to be certain.
If they were going to go deep into the devil's belly, they had no room to make mistakes.
And after reading over everything, once again, what caught their eyes were the prices.
And seeing it once more made them grumble a bit.
"F***! Yesterday, I thought my eyes were deceiving me. But who would've known that I saw it, right? What sort of entertainment costs this much?" Yan Jin said while flaring out at the ridiculousness of it all.
And Bihn Owo nodded his head in agreement.
One should know that within their Profound sect, there were training rooms that had runes and formations in them that provided boundless rooms filled with rich qi for them to cultivate in.
Those rooms cost 2 gold coins per hour.
So how can they pay 3 good coins per hour for entertainment?
Was this entertainment place any better than their Profound Sect or any other sects around?
Were they saying that this place could compare with the qi-filled rooms in the sects?
Typically, they would've thought that it couldn't be possible.
But after getting their membership card and map, they started feeling like maybe, just maybe, there was something mysterious about this so-called Gaming Hall.
Hopefully, they wouldn't be disappointed.
"Enough wasting time. Let's go."
"Right!"
With that, the trio marched in righteously, as if they were on their way to save the word or something.
Since the enemy already knew that they were from the Profound Sect, there was no need for them to pretend.
And as they walked in, their expressions turned solemn when they heard some comments from people around.
Ah-hah!
They were right!
These people were from an evil sect.
Just listen to their plans about killing the innocent?
They even screamed severally about killing. Someone called Megaera.
What the hell was going on here?
.
"Damn! She hit me again! Ahhhh! I really hate her!"
"It's over. I can't escape. Noooo, How did I miss that opportunity to kill her?"
"F***! After hitting her so many times, she still refused to die. Die Megaera, Die!!!"
"~Ooooo... I was so close. I was so close. Just a bit more, and I would've been able to rip her head off her shoulders cleanly."
"No! I don't accept this. I want her dead."
"_"
The Trio listened, and their hearts sank even deeper.
How violent were these people if they could talk about killing a poor innocent girl like that?
Just listening to the conversation made them realize how deadly and dangerous this place was.
As expected, it was indeed an evil cult.
