Chapter 29: Goddess Su Zhiyu

Chapter 29: Goddess Su Zhiyu

The Fourth Prince, Feng Yunyi, was a 3 star talent. At the age of 17, his strength had already reached 7 stars in the spiritual realm.

Coupled with his handsome appearance, he was extremely popular with the people, especially amongst young women.

No matter where he went, a group of people followed, enthusiastically singing praises. Bold women would even throw flowers to show their love.

Every time he left Huan City, many people would welcome him back to the city on the day of his return.

Feng Yunyi naturally thought that this time would be no exception. Having been away for half a year, he expected even more people to welcome him back even more enthusiastically.

Unexpectedly, the only people who came to welcome his return outside the city gates were a royal guard of honor and a few Su Family’s members.

“What’s going on, why is it just the few of you?”

Suddenly feeling left out at the treatment, Feng Yunyi immediately felt it unbearable.

Su Zhiyu, the eldest lady of the Su Family, walked with him. Accustomed to being held as a goddess at a very young age, her expression was dark at the moment.

“Erm... Fourth Prince, Miss Su, today Baibao Pavilion is auctioning a spiritual weapon and a Space Ring with spiritual attributes. Everyone went there to watch...” the leader of the guards replied apprehensively.

“Yu’er, don’t be angry. It’s just a spiritual weapon. I’ll obtain it for you.”

Feng Yunyi’s dissatisfaction worsened at the thought of how a dignified son had been surpassed by a spiritual weapon.

The spiritual weapon was indeed rare, but how was it comparable to him? Such short-sighted people!

What made him even more angry was that he had told Baibao Pavilion before that he wanted to buy a Space Ring. Instead of giving him an invitation card, Baibao Pavilion was now selling the ring secretly.

Su Zhiyu nodded coldly. “Good, I wanted to see as well.”

The two arrived at Baibao Pavilion, and saw an entourage making a ruckus at the entrance.

“Widen your eyes to see clearly, the Su Family’s patriarch is in front of you. How dare you stop the Su Family!!”

A young servant of the Su Family was arrogantly reprimanding the guard at the entrance.

Behind him, the Su Family’s patriarch, Su Hu, looked extremely angry.

The Su Family refined medicines, and usually entered the major auction houses of Huan City without a need for invitation cards.

Thus, they weren’t bothered that Baibao Pavilion hadn’t sent an invitation card.

This was the first time they were blocked outside the door over a piece of torn paper.

“You can’t enter without an invitation. I don’t care what family you’re from. Next!”

The guards dutifully took him aside, unmoved by the Su Family’s identity.

“Excuse me.”

Jun Mohuang crossed the Su Family’s servant and entered unimpeded.

The servant was even more furious. “Even that waste can enter, why can’t we?!”

“The Jun Family has an invitation from Baibao Pavilion. Of course Miss Jun can enter,” the guard replied with a stubborn look.

Jun Mohuang stood at the side and watched the show with interest.

“Hey, could you call Master Hu for me? There might have been a misunderstanding.”

Su Hu stepped forward and handed a heavy purse to the guard.

“There’s no misunderstanding. Master Hu already ordered not to let anyone without an invitation in!”

The guard remained unmoved.

Some people in the crowd snickered. These people more or less had grievances with the Su Family.

They were naturally delighted to see Su Hu deflated.
