27  Persuading Satanael

"what are you planning, Brother?"

Hearing that question, Satanael faced also morphed into a more serious expression.

He looked at Moronuel and didn't say anything but just simply turned around and walked away from there after signalling Susanoo to follow him.

Seeing as he did not get a reply from Satanael, Moronuel confirmed what he suspected "you know whatever you are planning, you can never succeed, if you think you are the only one planning to amass followers and have them join you fight against Lucifer, then I will have to discourage you. You are not the only one having eyes in the throne of Hell, even I am but when I think of who I am going to face for it, I don't let my greed control, because this is Lucifer, not the Samael we used to know, he pardoned you because you were family and that was just a battle to see who rules hell but I don't think he would do the same if you rebel, he will show you a fate worst than death, believe me, you don't want such a fate, be contended with the title you hold as one of the lords of hell, the sin of Wrath and this is coming from me, the greedy one, to show how dangerous trying to fight against Lucifer is"

Satanael stopped in his tracks and took a deep breath before he turned around to face Moronuel "and what makes you think that I would rebel? What if I am just gathering an army that would stand with us incase father decides to finish us off? I am just trying to look out for the rest of us" said Satanael with sincerity in his tone.

If someone saw the way Satanael spoke those words, they would have believed him but not Moronuel.

He could smell the greed oozing out of every pores of his body "you can fool anyone else, brother, but you can't fool me, I can see, smell and perceive the greed you have for Lucifer and the wrath to slice him into two. That's why I want you to give it up, you can not defeat Lucifer, not before and definitely never. Lucifer when he was called Samael was not your equal and now that he is the King of Hell, he will decimate you" Moronuel said trying to discourage Satanael from his unless endeavor.

"Stop beating around the bush and tell me why you are so adamant in persuading me from rebelling" Satanael didn't hide it anymore that he was truly going for the throne of Hell but what he do not get is how Moronuel is trying so hard to stop him.

Moronuel sighed after Satanael confirmed his rebellion "this is common knowledge to everyone in Hell. Lucifer is now a God, he is like Father but on a lower scale but even with that, he is now an unstoppable force. You may not know all these because you were unconscious but the moment Lucifer sat on the Throne of Hell after your defeat, we all bowed out of respect to the King of Hell and that's when we all experience the new changes in our body and what was the cause of it, we are now what is called Sin Holders, we are the Embodiment of Sin. We each have one sin, like you, you re the Sin of Wrath, I am the Sin of Greed, Asmodeus the Sin of List, Amiel the Sin of Envy, Coriel the Sin of Sloth, Bariel the Sin of Gluttony and Lucifer the Sin of Pride"

"I know all that, so what is there to be afraid of, he is also just a knock off copy of Father, I can take him, I just need time"

Satanael said as he was getting impatient with Moronuel as he believed him to be just wasting his time.

Moronuel shake his head as Satanael has become brain dead to even pick up what he is talking about, he just have to be the one to tell him "you don't know anything do you? All those years in hell and you haven't noticed anything different about him. Guess I just have to tell you myself, after your defeat by the hands of Lucifer and became unconscious, when we all awakened our Sins, Lucifer didn't just awakened the Sin of Pride, he got all of our sins, that was his perk of being the King of Hell, the Devil. Now you must know why you have to stop your pointless rebellion, he is no longer our match, you just have to live with that, brother"

Satanael couldn't believe what he just heard, he had been in hell for over 10 million years and none of them point that out for him?

It was like he was running into Lucifer's trap all along. It was as if Lucifer knew he was going to rebel the moment he got a chance and just let him be and when he strikes, he would be the the laughing stock of them all and also the scapegoat to cement Lucifer's position as the King of Hell.

The moment he left Hell, he has started amassing underlings to aid him in his rebellion but now, it was all for naught, it wouldn't be a surprise that Lucifer also has his own forces he has been gathering. How laughable.

Satanael laughed out loud at his own naivety, he couldn't read the situation and just wanted to rush to his own downfall.

Moronuel sighed when he saw that Satanael has gone mad from knowing that he has no hope of ever standing against Lucifer.

He turned to look at the student of his brother "brat, when he is finally back to his senses, you tell him that if he still wants to carry on his stupid plan, then he should not blame anyone but himself when no one sides with him and to curry favor with Lucifer, I might tell him of your master's little plan. Tell him not to take that personal, I'm just doing what I have to do to survive and that's siding with the winning side, that's all"

Moronuel stood up and dusted himself and took one last look at Susanoo "you one good lad, so here is a parting gift from me"

Moronuel said as he brought out two swords from god knows where and gave it to Susanoo who looked at them with glistering eyes and said "these are the Kusanagi-no-Tsurugi and Totsuka-no-Tsurugi sword, where did you get them from?"

Moronuel smiled as he saw the reaction of the brat "well, I got that from robbing the treasury of your father, I figured since I am not a fan of swords, I should gift you one for the trouble that I am about to put you in. Fare warning, when you pass my message to my brother, make sure to keep a large distance, you will thank me later" Moronuel said before running away to go to his next heist.

Susanoo didn't even focused on the departing figure of Moronuel as he just gazed at his new swords, the most famous sword of both his father and mother.

Everyone of his siblings yearn to wield one of these swords one day and here he was holding both of them. He was happy and wished he could see the face of Izanagi, his father, when his favourite child ascend the throne only to find out that his sword which he supposed to gift to his daughter is gone, it will be truly hilarious.

Susanoo decided to put the swords away for now and waited for Satanael to get back to his senses.

And like that almost an hour passed before He calmed down from his crazy laughter.

He did not sense the presence of his brother anymore, so he turned to his student "what did he say to you before he left?" Satanael asked as he knew that Moronuel would not just leave like that.

Taking the advice of Moronuel, Susanoo started creating space between him and his master.

He didn't stop until he has created a very big distance from Satanael before he cleared his throat and said "he said to tell you that..."

Susanoo started passing the message of Moronuel to Satanael, who was getting furious as he kept listening to the message.

BOOM.

A very destructive aura burst out of Satanael that it even affected Susanoo who created a considerable amount of distance between them.

Satanael was furious for what his brother said, he must teach that bastard a lesson for him to know his place.

Elsewhere

A man with wings was flying through the open air when he felt a certain disturbance in the air.

He stopped and looked the direction he just came from and sighed "I hope that would discourage him rebelling entirely when he knows none of us are going to aid him in anyway and just take Lucifer as his King. If not, I fear what Lucifer is going to do to him"

Moronuel said before he continued his flight to his next target to steal from.
