Chapter 87: Let's us talk.

"Darlinggggg~" Merlin hugged Ha Joon who was seated on the bed, his eyes, having an even wider under bag.

"M.. Merlin, what's up?" He barely spoke.

"I missed you so much, did you miss me? Did you?" Merlin wiggled her butt, her boobs pressing on Ha Joon's chest.

"Pftt! What kind of human would I be if I didn't miss my magician…" Ha Joon replied half heartedly, his gaze shifting to the side.

Suddenly -

Artoria walked into his room.

They both locked eyes.

"Artoria." He called out.

"H..hey there Ha Joon, how are you feeling?" She asked, grabbing her arm nervously, the look on her face wasn't as lively as they normally were.

"I'm fine, but can you get Merlin off me for a sec?" He whispered.

"I can help you!" Sinex who was seated on the side chair spoke, her finger taking the form of a small blade.

"Shut up!" Yelled Ha Joon.

Artoria looked at Sinex for a while, clearly still wary. She never approved of Ha Joon letting someone who had once tried to kill him stay in the castle — but since Ha Joon insisted on it, she had to give in, reluctantly.

"Do you know why you are falling ill? I could get the best doctors in Camelot to do a checkup on you." Artoria turned her attention to Ha Joon.

Ha Joon chuckled a bit.

"That would be…unnecessary. It's something related to my powers, don't worry, I'll be fine."

"He's right." Merlin suddenly pulled away, her hand on his cheeks as she searched his eyes, "What the hell are you doing with your body?".

"What do you mean?" Ha Joon feigned ignorance.

"For me to be able to feel the huge amount of mana constantly escaping your body, means you're actively powering up a spell… way too much at that. I shouldn't be able to sense this much mana from you… a normal person would have died from this." Merlin now looked worried.

Artoria who had been quiet now stepped forward, to have a closer look at him.

"As I said, I'll be fine, it's just a magic thing." Ha Joon gave a short response.

Merlin could only sigh.

"Just be careful, I'll see if I can make a potion to help you stabilize the mana surge. I'll be back."

With that, Merlin walked out of the room.

A look of relief instantly played on Ha Joon's face.

"I will not disturb you, since it seems you need rest. But once you have recovered, I'd like us to discuss these rumors I have been hearing… "

Ha Joon groaned, cutting Artoria off.

"I wanna sleep…." he fell flat on the bed, folding himself on the bed.

Artoria smiled a bit, "Right, sleep well. I'll come back and check up on you."

She also walked out of the room.

Ha Joon's eyes still opened under the blanket.

Later the next day.

Ha Joon was walking down the halls of the castle with his personal maid Yukio and follower Sinex.

In his hand, his magical smartphone, as he read about screens from his former world.

He had just finished speaking to Artoria about the rumors, and all he could get from it all was that she didn't want it spreading anymore than it already had, so she wanted to address it to the public.

His response to that was simple —

"If you do have faith in me, then I beg you not to show yourself in public, not yet."

And though she argued about it for a while, Artoria later gave in, as long as it involved Ha Joon, she was willing to push his pride to the side.

'This is actually more complicated than I thought– I should have paid more attention in class … sigh!' he switched off his phone, and shoved it in his pocket.

"Master, I've been meaning to ask… what is that small box you always hold in your hand?" Yukio asked a question that had been lingering in her head.

Ha Joon chuckled a bit at her question, but it was expected, people of this world knew nothing of technology, and he had been carrying it around everywhere he went.

"It's a magic light mirror, when you're older, I'll give you more context." he laughed.

Yukio's cheeks turned a bit red, "Please don't call me a child."

"Hahaha, my love just called you a kid!" Sinex mocked.

"Lady Merlin asked me to give you this." Yukio stretched a small medicine wrapped in white paper towards Ha Joon.

"Hey don't ignore me!!!" Sinex lost it.

"Oh wow, drugs, I definitely like this." Ha Joon couldn't hide his disgust.

As they kept talking and walking, someone whom they had never expected to see appeared in front of them.

"Good day to you, Traveler." Belinda spoke, standing only a few distance away from Ha Joon and the rest.

They all looked at her.

Ha Joon being the only one with a smile on his face, almost like he was excited to see her.

"Well hello there Belinda, how can be of help to you?" Ha Joon asked.

Yukio and Sinex were on guard, there was a chance Belinda, a member of the roundtable, was here to take Ha Joon for questioning after what had happened yesterday with the orphanage.

"I would like to speak to you in private. It's very important and I would appreciate it if you came with me." Belinda went straight to the point.

Ha Joon stared at her for a while.

"With all due respect, Lord Ha Joon is currently ill and can't do anything too stressful, I am his secretary, I'll come with you and relay the message to him." Yukio spoke out, her hand pressing on her chest.

"I believe I asked your master and not you. Know your place." Belinda glared at her

The weird symbol in Yukio's eyes spinned a bit, she was about to speak, but Ha Joon stopped her by placing his hand on her shoulder.

"It's okay, I'm weak, not dead. It will be quick." He said.

"But Master…."

"Just look after Sinex and make sure she doesn't steal any more bread from the kitchen."

Ha Joon stood in front of Belinda.

"Now then, where do you want to have this discussion?" he asked her, his smile still evident.
