Chapter 125: 3 Million Death Points Rich: Danger
"Measer. Since there's a chance you might die, I'm willing to round it up to 2,900,000 and give you a random manual for free."
As she said this, she pulled out a huge book that was almost half her size and dumped it on the counter, creating dust every where.
Tyrion immediately frowned.
"Gene 101? One out of 1,000,000 becomes a Chemist using that manual, it is basically useless anywhere!"
"Don't sell yourself short, you might be the lucky one and once you become a Junior Chemist, not even Thunder Temple would dare to mess with you."
"Since How about this, if you sell me the Ultimate treasure, I might consider adding a few amount to it."
Tyrion's face immediately turned indifferent and his crimson eyes glowed with intense killing intent as he reached fir the blade handle his back.
"How did you know about that?"
Scylla little face scrunched up cutely as she giggled. "Relax . Information in the black market travels a lot faster than the speed of light."
Nit at all minding the dense killing intent that pressurized the entire store knot stillness, Scylla walked to the shelf behind her and took another lollipop as though the pressure Tyrion was releasing was non existent.
Seeing this, Tyrion's pupils constricted. Under his killing intent, even a level 3 super soldier would have no choice but to be wary, not to mention some little girl.
Opening the wrapper of the lollipop, Scylla continued.
"Although I did hear you exploded your self like a time bomb to escape from the hands of some guy from the Thunder Temple, obliterating his right leg and crippling his left. But now that you're here, it seems I got the wrong person right?"
She lifted up her pink eyes and placed her hand chin, resting it on the counter as she smiled at Tyrion.
Tyrion squinted his eyes, trying to gauge the little hole, but even with his enhanced senses, she seemed like a normal human child without much 'dust' within her.
"Make the transfer using this encryption." After a while, Tyrion expressionlessly tapped at his watch, letting up an hologram that displayed a series of codes.
"Leaving so soon?" Scylla giggled in mockery as she scanned the code displayed and then made the transfer.
Seeing as he was rich by almost 3 million, Tyrion's heart relaxed by a bit, but he was still uncomfortable with the situation.
It hadn't been 24 hour since he escaped from Arasaka's tower but his information has already leaked all over the black market.
The only good thing about is that, they all think he's dead. At the hands of Vladimir, which meant hat with the. Martha, the other person who knew that he truly alive. The best thing to do right now was immediately shut her up forever.
But, now that he was in the academy, there was nothing much to be afraid of. Moreover, since he has scanned his badge and features at the entrance of the school to gain access back in to the academy, it was on a matter of time before trouble comes knowing.
Grabbing the large the large book by the table, Tyrion grabbed a second hand hoodie worth 4 death points and wore it, leaving without making any point from it.
"That's 20 death points! Sell your serum here when you become a Chemist, yeah?"
Tyrion almost stumbled, he looked back and glared at her before immediately leaving the store.
This time, his steps where faster than than before he came back.
However, in three minutes could sense at least three people on his tail and each one of them weren't genetic soldier but super soldiers.
Tyrion's wars vibrated and flickered as he senses another group of two tailing him from another direction.
His eyes turned cold as he continued weaving through the crowds in the black market.
However, his spine suddenly tingled and his pupils shrank as he senses a grave sense of danger before him.
But the crowd here was so dense, one could barely pass through without at least touching shoulder, it was impossible to tell who the danger was coming from!
However, Tyrion didn't pause his steps and he continued to fast walk with the large book strapped behind him as some sort of shield.
In the next second, the danger suddenly increased and without warning, an old man who was struggling to carrying his goods suddenly leaned towards Tyrion.
"CHI!" "CHI!" "CHI!"
A sharp blade instantly pierced through Tyrion's heart three times like a mosquito sting.
It was so fast that on one was able to react or see it coming. The speed of the stabbing was even after than a bullet sprayed by a machine gun and within the short distance of a meter, not even a half step demon fighter would be able to avoid a stab with such lethality.
However, it was completely different in Tyrion's perception.
The moment he sensed the danger, his brain got overly excited and his second brain immediately activated to its highest capability as well as his first brain.
In that instance, Tyrion felt as though he had become a god as everything slowed down in his perception.
The beating of his heart sounded so loud in his ears and even sound waves could be seen with his eyes as he saw different spectrums of light and felt different frequencies of sounds.
At this stage, there was barely anything that could threaten him and then, he saw the old man's hand and saw the blade coming at him with the speed of a snail. It was as though just an ordinary human was stabbing him.
He then saw that the knife wasn't actually a knife but some sort of attack Blood Demon Art activation.
'No wonder it was so fast.'
Concluding that there wasn't venom or poison in the knife, Tyrion didn't move and allowed the knife stab into his chest three times, however, his hand transformed into a terrifying white claw as he slashed it directly at the old man's face.
"BANG!"
His Claws ripped through his skull like it was made our of ceramics, bone, blood, brain matter and pieces of his eyes and skull splashed on the passerby's face.
Blocking the vision of the three people who were tailing him.
Time finally resumed back to normal and the old man walked a few feet before crashing to the ground.
[Critical injury +99 damage points]
Immediately the blood and bone fragments splashed outwards, the entire crowd paused at first, then they began fleeing as though they were the ones being attacked.
Tyrion also managed to escape with the crowd. However, it was as though these people had some way of tracking him, they followed him like that had some top attached to him.
Tyrion glanced back with the corners of his eyes and then beaches through a silent alley.
This alleyway was extremely quiet and there wasn't a single person here.
The width was about half a meter wide, giving bit much space for combat, but it was the perfect place for burying people.
He walked for a few seconds before stopping. Tyrion then dropped the Gene 101 manual to the ground which dented the cement showing just how heavy the book was.
He then looked back, however there wasn't a single person there.
"How long you all plan on following me?" Tyrion calmly asked as though there was someone in front of him.
The alleyway remain quite as the sound of the cricket which had stopped due to his question continued making noise back with some slight hesitation.
Even after a minute, no one appeared or responded.
It might actually be that the people following him had been intimidated by his previous attack on the old man, feeling the slightest second they got.
But Tyrion wasn't the optimistic kind and presume they would flee simply due to intimidation.
Even then, he could hear the sounds of seven pairs of heart beat within a hundred meters radius.
"I can clearly hear the sounds of your breaths so why don't you seven come out here and let's deal with this quick."
Tyrion said, appearing quite impatient.
Seeing that no one dared to come out, Tyrion snorted. "Cowards!"
With that, he turned around and picked up the book from the floor.
The moment his hands touched the book, the sounds of three ear piercing shrieks resounded as the armor piercing anti-tank bullets blasted through the air with speed surpassing that of sound by two times.
"BANG!" "BANG!" "BANG!"
Tyrion's pupils constricted as an intense feeling of danger overwhelmed him. But the feeling currently overwhelming him right now was an intense feeling of rage.
He was most especially angry right now. They actually brought gun to a street fight. And not just ordinary guns, but anti-tank snipers!
This sort of snipers were very expensive to acquire but with the proper channel and right amount of money, it wasn't impossible.
An ordinary sniper could already kill most genetic soldier when caught by surprise. However, three anti-tank snipers fired on one person, even a Demon Fighter would die at a single moment of carelessness, not to mention Tyrion who was just a genetic soldier.
