Chapter 454: War of Darkness
Chapter 454: War of Darkness
More chaos. It seemed like Irus was now more serious while he was battling Licht than when he was in a fight with Lady Hao. Although they were in an artificial world when they were fighting, the intensity of Irus's attacks were different from before.
"Draught of the Undead," Licht yelled, throwing his instrument to the side and crossed his arms in front of him as he created a pool of darkness that exploded right towards Irus.
"Nightshade!" Irus countered the attack with a giant sword, rotating in front of him in an incredible speed. The sword created a vertical dome that protected Irus, blocking the cold black shadows that was aimed at him.
"You really are good, huh?" Licht smirked. He raised his right hand and then that hand's index finger. On the tip of that finger was a small diamond shaped stone that hovered above him. "Diamond Dead."
The stone cracked and burst open with a black murky mist. The mist instantly clouded around the two, blocking everyone's vision on them. The mist was thicker and more dense than the one Licht created before. No one knows what this mist does, except for him.
"He has never used such technique before," Elliot flinched after he heard Guan Yin speak right beside him. The woman was staring at the black cloud that was formed from the mist, her eyes filled with fear and uneasiness.
"Why are you here?" Elliot asked. "How?"
"Dragons," Kaminari pointed at the large flying creatures that were now floating around the island. "They came to help."
"No!" Lady Hao landed on the ground and screamed. "Make them fly as far as they can. This place is dangerous when we're crowding around Licht. He has the power of Crowds, the more like beings around him are, the stronger he gets."
"Too late." Irus appeared right beside them, weak and injured. Although he only got away with scratches and small cuts, he looked weaker than he did before. "His range is too wide, even if the dragons fly to the next kingdom in thirty seconds, he can still reach their presence."
"He's already that strong?" Lady Hao gulped. "Well then I guess I have no other choice."
The woman closed her fan and stood right below the center of the black cloud. "I shall seal him."
Lady Hao created a large magic circle under her. She traced the magic circle on the ground, whispering to herself her chant as the magic circle got brighter and brighter. She pointed at one part of the circle and a smaller circle appeared.
The lines of her magic circle followed that smaller circles as she created three more, creating a square shape inside the magic circle. Irus crossed his arms and smirked at how Lady Hao was doing, he then shook his head and walked towards her.
"You can't pass," Qing and Xing appeared right in front of the demon.
He raised his hands up and shrugged, "Her level of magic can't possibly seal that" he pointed at the black cloud. "That much magic."
"But we'll never know unless we try," Xing said, making Irus explode in a fit of laughter.
The demon sighed. He cracked his bones to stretch and his wounds slowly healed. He then pushed the two away from his path and slammed his foot on the magic circle that Lady Hao was creating, breaking it and shattering the entire chant.
"What the hell?!" Lady Hao growled in anger. "We have no other choice but to seal this person. We'll all die if we don't."
Irus pointed at the boys behind him, "And that is why we have the Eternals here with us. You don't know how the others are like because you haven't seen them, but these people are the Eternals from different realms."
"W-What?" Lady Hao dropped her hands beside her. "You mean these boys are the saviour against the Dark One, t-the Forsaken?"
"Yep," Irus simply said. "That's why you have to support them as much as you can. The first thing we have to do is clear all these clouds. Can you help me?"
Lady Hao opened her fan and covered her face with it, "And why not? I will do the best of my abilities to help the Eternals."
"Good," Irus grinned. He held out his hand for the woman to hold. "You're quite older than me. Can I call you mother?"
Lady Hao closed her fan and slammed it on Irus's hand. "Absolutely not! Call me Lady Hao like everyone else and we can be allies for now."
"Okay then, Lady Hao," Irus smirked. "Let's go?"
The woman nodded and they sprung up from the ground. They were now exuding great amounts of aura, making it look like there were balls of light hovering in the air, encircling the dark cloud. One of them was dark grey which was Irus while Lady Hao was yellow.
They encircled the cloud before they stopped on either side of it. Both of them raised their hands in front of them, both palms facing the cloud as they fired huge beams into it. Their beams hit the thick cloud, trying to penetrate it with their magic.
"Woah," Elliot gasped. "An exhibition of power."
"Let's help!" one of the dragons yelled. The others flew up and all of the dragons were now surrounding the cloud. They opened their mouths and fired beams of magic into it, now able to penetrate the clouds with their magic.
"Go everyone, go!" Hope cheered his people. He was smiling widely, proud of how much the dragons were contributing to the battle. "When this gets finished, we're all going to fish in the sea for a week!"
"Heard that?" one of the dragons grinned. "Fish!"
The dragons' beams got even thicker. They were now trying to pierce through the dark, inspired by their leader's words.
"All it takes is fish?" Ed chuckled. "Wow."
"Dragons like fish," Hope said. "That's a fact."
When the attacks stacked up, the shield of the clouds exploded into nothingness, revealing a diamond shaped stone inside. The stone cracked and revealed a human hand, but it was black and the nails were long.
"That was a good nap," Licht chucked. "Your attacks tickled me by a bit."
