Chapter 106: Slave Pact
Chapter 106: Slave Pact
The pair froze as they saw the group of people in front of them. Gomorrah tried to fire her smoke bomb but instantly stopped after seeing Lizzy and Vale open their wings.
"W-What is" Santi trailed off and looked at their small wings. Their bat-like wings were much smaller than the ones in front of them.
"What tribe are you from?" Vale asked. "How comes you're still trainees? That's impossible."
"We're employed by the House" Gomorrah slammed her hand over Santi's mouth.
"I believe we cannot tell you where we came from," Gomorrah said and slowly backed away. She tried to fire her smoke attack once more but four panes of black glass-like shields surrounded them. "What is this?"
Lance removed his hand from the handle of his black sword, sighing as he walked forward. "We have questions. These Seductors, and us Adventurers. Either you try to escape or we'll tie you up and force the answers from your lips, we will get our answers either way."
Santi gulped, clutching Gomorrah's arm in fear. "S-Sister what if they kill us?"
"We won't kill you," Elliot stepped in and slowly pulled the black panels away. "I was your target. I'd like to ask why and who ordered you?"
Gomorrah showed no signs of answering until Elliot sat cross-legged. "I won't go away until you answer me."
"We're not allowed to talk about our own employers," Gomorrah said and showed everyone her wrist.
Lance growled after seeing the symbol around it. "That's a Slave Pact. Why do you have that?"
Gomorrah shook her head, signaling that she can't talk. "I'm sorry but this is all I can give you. They had sealed our mouths from talking about them."
"Sealed our mouths" Elliot stood and took a quill and paper from his reserves. It was in his kitchen where he thought he could use in the future. "If you can't talk because your lips are sealed, maybe you can write. You did show us your wrist, and if that's allowed, maybe you could write their names."
The Seductor siblings looked at each other. Santi shrugged while Gomorrah reluctantly held the quill.
She started to write the letters, sweating as she felt the ink form the symbols being written in the paper. As she wrote, everyone was holding their breathes. It was the moment of truth.
And if her so-called 'employers' could afford a Slave Pact, they were bound to be a wealthy and powerful family. A nobility wouldn't be too far-fetched.
"Done," Gomorrah sighed in relief.
"L-Lance" Elliot trailed off after seeing the words. "Lance, come here for a second."
Lance walked over and his eyes widened after reading the name. "What? Impossible!"
'House Alorde'
Gomorrah took the quill and added a few words in front of the surname.
'Lord Ceazar from House Alorde.'
"T-That's my Uncle Ceazar," Lance muttered. "But I'm not surprised. Among all the royals and nobles, he's the one who would sink this low. Forming Slave Pacts for beings from other Realms. He's mad."
"Now that you have your answers, will you let us go?" Gomorrah asked. "They will try to force information from us as a report. And we cannot lie. They have a detector."
"No, wait," Elliot scrunched his forehead. "I don't think I met that man before. Lord Caezar Alorde? How come he ordered to attack me? Does he know me?"
"He wasn't the one who gave the orders," Santi said. "It was a girl, from another noble family. She said that she wanted to know what you like, what you were like, and who wou liked. It seems that this girl has taken a liking to you."
"Is her name Florencia?" Lance suddenly asked. Ed elbowed him and he scoffed. "What? Name any other girl that finds Elliot attractive? At least shows signs of being attracted to him."
Gomorrah and Santi looked at each other before they slowly nodded. Santi spoke, "How come you know her?"
"I knew it!" Lance suddenly yelled. "That little brat was up to no good. I knew it from the moment I saw her."
"But please don't do something to her," Gomorrah said. "If she knew that we told you, our parents would be in danger."
"Wait, parents?" Lizzy said and looked at the younger Seductors. "But you're both the lost children of Abel, the previous Ruler. He lost you when the Challenger attacked the castle."
"Oh, Ruler of Inferno," Lizzy gasped and placed her hands on her mouth. "You're only 9 and 12 years old."
"N-Nine and twelve?!" Elliot gasped. "But why do they look like they're the same age as me?"
"Seductors have rapid age in our younger years and will slow down once we reach 9 years old," Lizzy said and engulfed the two in her arms. "How could they do this? How come you ended up here in Terra?"
"A servant couple took us and sent us here with the others," Gomorrah said. "I was very young back then when we traveled North. There, we built a small village and lived peacefully. That was until they had found us."
Santi couldn't help the tear in his eyes from falling. He sniffled as he let the tears flow and he cried in the older woman's chest.
"Hey, Ed," Elliot called out. "Could you do something about their Slave Pact? Can you cancel it?"
Ed tilted his head and branished his sword. "I just remembered that Johnson said he had a favor for me. But he hasn't contacted me ever since."
He walked in front of the siblings and placed the tip of his sword on Gomorrah's wrist with the mark in it. Focusing his aura, Ed breathed deeply and harnessed his magic into nullifying the mark.
"Nullify!" Ed yelled and injected his magic into the mark. It looked like it burned with a heatless scorch, slowly vanishing into the air. "I-I did it!"
"Yes, you did!" Connor cheered and leaned in. "Woah. This is amazing, Ed!"
Ed excitedly nullified Santi's mark, successfully doing so and proudly returned his weapon in his scabbard.
"They took our mommy and daddy. Err, the parent figures that adopted us," Santi sobbed. "They said that they would kill them if we don't do what they said. My sister had some ideas about Dream Seduction, so they picked us. They also made me go with her to learn the magic so they could use it in the future."
"That's horrible," Vale growled. "What in the hell are they thinking? And kids, what tribe were you before you were captured by the Royals?"
"We're from a small town in the North. We lived peacefully with the Snow Faes when they attacked us a few months ago," Gomorrah said, trying her best to stay strong and tell the people's everything she knew. "The family that held us captive put us in a dungeon ever since we were captured, servicing them and their family's inner circles with our Seduction Magic. It was just now that they started branching out, trying to turn it into a business venture."
"That is true," Santi added. "My mother was Lord Caezar's private Succubus. G-Good thing we have our horns, our wings and our c-complexion that made them not force us with other services."
Lance sighed and nodded, "Okay. I will tell my father myself about this. Uncle Caezar will be punished from his crimes along with his accomplices."
"Lance, remember that your uncle isn't the only ones involved in this scandal. Remember that there are royal families involved that own large influence within the kingdom," Ed said. "If you suddenly start a political war with them, it will most likely not end in your favor. You were the prince who left them, what do you think they'd say if you suddenly get back at them?"
"What should we do, then?" Lance sighed. "I just want justice for these folks."
"Lance, listen," Ed grinned, "Let's attack."
