I have Nine Lives

Chapter 198: Back to the lion tribe

Chapter 198: Back to the lion tribe

Felix decided to attend those two events that the president had mentioned since he didn't have anything else to do for now.

After doing those two things, he would be able to relax.

Felix sighed as he looked at the president's expression. It was obvious the man really wanted Felix, the savior of the planet. To attend those two important events.

The president knew that he needed to appease the population after everything that happened.

He also needed to give remuneration to the family members of the dead soldiers along with gifts.

Those were boring things but very needed to continue the recruitment of talents from the population. The federation wasn't an authoritarian entity, and it needed to keep its citizens happy. It was like a symbiotic relationship that didn't need to be broken.

"Thank you for understanding, Felix. You won't have to do much at those events. All you gotta do is give out a heartfelt speech as the hero who singles handily took care of the strongest enemy invaders."

Felix nodded and asked:

"When shall I have to arrive for those events?"

The president scratched his chin for a few seconds then said with certainty:

"5 days from now. You can go and do whatever you want for those 5 days but be sure to make it back in time."

Felix nodded and was ready to leave, Marquina and Binela were quite nearby, and he had to go pick them up as he didn't want the president to get any wrong impressions about him.

After all, the duo was quite open with their interactions with him.

Even before they became his subordinates.

It was quite an awkward situation, and he would rather not have them act like that with other people present.

Felix sighed as he left the presidential room and went to the roof before flying away from the federation's city.

He wanted to go back to the lion tribe so he could relax there.

That was his most familiar location, and he felt the most relaxed there.

Marquina and Binela were waiting for him mid-air as they chatted with each other:

"Do you think he will act?" Marquina asked with a cute look on her face which looked quite uncharacteristic on her.

"Hmmm, hard to say, he is quite different from the men of our race who would want to take us any time they wanted... it seems he is not really familiar with the reproductive activity."

"So I guess we have to teach him?"

Binela nodded and then looked towards the horizon, sensing Felix's approach:

"I guess so. But with the two of us, he shall become an expert in no time."

Binela smiled as she hit Marquina with her elbow. Felix had just appeared, and he was looking at them with a puzzled look on his face.

He had heard what the duo had said about him, and he didn't really know what they meant by that until he actually saw Marquina's expression.

He sighed as he took them with him to the lion capital by flight.

The people living in the capital were rather startled as they saw Felix's human form fly over them with two unknown women at his sides.

Siracha had already given the notice about Felix's human form. So it wasn't something new to them. However, the two women at his side were strangers, which didn't look to be coming from any tribes the general populace knew.

Siracha ran out of his house as he looked at the sky with his eyes widened. Felix's strength had reached such a high level that Siracha could swear that if he breathed too roughly in his direction with ill intent, he would fall down and not get up again.

This was an immense difference compared to when he left to the human's side, eager to protect the planet. He also seemed to be wearing interesting brightly colored armor...

"He must have gone through a lot of things."

Siracha waved his hands towards Felix and his 'friends' as he shouted:

"Felix over here! Come here!"

Felix slowly descended near Siracha along with Marquina and Binela as he smiled at Siracha.

"How are you doing, Siracha?"

Siracha laughed as he shook his head:

"Same old same old, actually I wanted to ask you that question first."

Felix laughed as he patted Siracha's shoulder and responded:

"Things have gone well for me. In the end, the war was won, and I was able to come back. I guess you want to know what happened?"

Siracha nodded as he took a glance towards the two women who just casually near Felix, seemingly waiting for his orders:

"For starters, who are these two lovely ladies?"

Felix introduced them directly:

"They were invaders that I have made my subordinates by swearing oaths."

Siracha's eyes widened as he took another glance at the female duo, then shook his head as he said:

"So you went ahead and made them your subordinates, huh? That's really like you..."

Felix looked at Siracha and decided to tell him:

"Yeah, I have got 2 more subordinates which I put to patrol the planet. Since they decided to give up, it wouldn't be bad to let them work for us. It's just like you told me."

Siracha laughed as he patted Felix's shoulder:

"It seems you have put my teachings to good use."

"Yeah, I guess so. Now our planet has 4 experts that could be considered to be top experts in the universe..."

Siracha decided against commenting on these words. He didn't know much about the universe besides the very little information that he had gained from trading with the humans. But, he could sense that the strength of these two women was way above his.

"Well, it was nice to talk with you again... I guess there haven't been any changes to the inn that I used to stay, right?"

Siracha nodded and said:

"Yeah, I made sure to keep the woman that runs the inn well off. So she can continue working there."

"But why don't you go to meet up with Lindo first? His son grew up quite a bit, and now he is a handful as he started to get stronger and stronger from their daily sparring sessions."

Felix scratched his chin before shaking his head:

"How much time have I been gone?"

Siracha knew that time must have moved rather quickly for Felix as he fought back and forth on a gigantic battlefield:

"Well, since you left to prepare for war... I think it's been almost 2 years and a half."

Felix narrowed his eyes inside. Time really passed fast when he had to fight for his life against those superpowered beings in space.

"I will see him tomorrow. For now, I just want to relax a bit."

Siracha nodded as he understood. Felix was ready to take his step towards the inn before thinking about something...

His spatial bag was absorbed by the armor and inserted towards a pocket dimension. He thought he couldn't access it anymore after his armor was destroyed. But as he grew stronger. He felt some coordinates in space that were familiar so he realized that those items weren't destroyed.

He put his hand near him as he broke through space casually. Then took out a shiny red pearl that he threw towards Siracha.

The pearl was easily caught by Siracha, as he recognized it.

Felix waved his hand at him, and a few bags full of variations of bones dropped near Siracha as Felix told him:

"I have no use for these things anymore, and I hope they will be used for the future of the lion's tribe youth."

Siracha nodded as he looked at Felix's receding silhouette and muttered to himself:

"He had changed so much..."

Felix arrived at the inn as he took in a deep breath of the familiar air and opened the door, which leads him to the inside of the inn.

The innkeeper was the same woman that usually worked there before. She hadn't changed much as she looked the same as when Felix first saw her.

The innkeeper looked up from her book and said:

"The rooms are 50 bronze bones per night... food is additional 10 bronze bones per tray."

Felix morphed into his cat form which made the woman widen her eyes as she said:

"Felix... it is really you!?"

She was extremely surprised, as Siracha told her Felix was having really important business outside the tribe. And he didn't know when he would come back. So she was quite surprised to see a stranger morph into him.

Felix's cat form gave out a small smile as he said:

"Yeah, I have been gone for quite a while. My room is in the same condition?"

The woman nodded and looked at Binela and Marquina before averting her gaze and inviting the trio directly to Felix's moderately sized room.

Felix entered the familiar room in which he meditated and slept and then plopped his cat form directly on the fluffy bed.

Marquina and Binela didn't really know what to say as they stood there awkwardly near Felix's bed. They were both rather experienced in the carnal ways, but they never had to teach a person who had never encountered any sexual situations before.

It was obvious that Felix wasn't looking at the duo with any intentions. Even though- he did say that he would help them with their 'itch'.

It was quite awkward for them to start a conversation which they never really had to have, as they went directly to the action.

How could they start? Especially seeing that Felix had no intentions at all.
