I have Nine Lives

Chapter 182: The war (9)

Chapter 182: The war (9)

Felix's ongoing transformation was only beginning. His purple aura. Which was slowly becoming golden under the explosive pillar of energy that he created was expanding at a crazy rate after he initiated the breakthrough.

The power radiating from Felix increased more and more to the point that the enemy ships couldn't ignore it anymore, even though there were no orders from above. They decided to attack him anyway.

Not every person of the 4 armed race was a battle maniac, and they had their orders that they needed to follow. While Marshallo was the strongest army high general, that didn't mean there weren't any royal loyalists in the army.

Most of the people that were loyal to Marshallo wouldn't make a move without his direct command. But the royal loyalists, on the other part, were more proactive.

Felix could feel that some of the medium-sized ships that survived and moved away from the battlefield were currently pointing their weapons towards him, while one of the biggest ships was also doing the same thing.

However, he ignored them as he concentrated on breaking through.

The royal loyalists who were currently fiddling with the controls of the newly repaired photonic cannons were looking towards Felix's locations through the radar and aimed directly at him.

The photonic cannons unleashed a long beam of blue psionic energy that traveled through space at a speed invisible to the lower-level warriors' eyes as it shot directly towards Felix. Clashing with the pillar of his aura, trying to break through it and reach his main body.

However, the moment the beam of energy struck the pillar of energy. It started to meld with Felix's aura as it enhanced the speed of its transformation to the orange level.

His power was inflating at a higher speed due to the loyalist's attempts at stopping him.

The people in the bigger ship, who shot first already realized that things weren't right, so they tried to stop the beam. However, the medium-sized ship shot the same type of beam a few seconds later, inflating Felix's aura even further.

This made the loyalists' side start to throw insults at each other before trying to turn off both beams as they realized they couldn't do anything to Felix while he was breaking through.

However, once you got on the horse, it was hard to go down.

The beams that would have usually stopped after those on the ships turned them off didn't do so in this situation.

Felix's eyes were full of energy as he looked towards the directions of the ships that shot at him. These beams of energy were helpful to his breakthrough, and he wouldn't let them take them back.

Felix made a motion with his hands as the energy beams continued to be drained out of the ship's cannons until they slowly started to overheat. And while the technology they were using was rather advanced, and the materials were all very energy conductive. There was still a limit to how much time it could shoot such a highly concentrated psionic energy beam.

One of the main people that had activated the energy beam was currently panicking as the captain which was in Marshallo's camp glared at him and said:

"I thought that this might have affected the enemy's breakthrough, just like you convinced me to, but it seems that you are actually helping him further his breakthrough!"

The same thing was happening on the other ship. But in their situation, their cannon had already given out, and no more energy was seeping from the ship.

Felix's body started to float as he got up from his cross-legged position in space.

His eyes were opened wide as energy poured out of them, his aura was 60% orange now, and his transformation was speeding up even further. It wouldn't be much time before he reached 100% and finished his breakthrough!

Binela and Marquina observed what was happening with different expressions. Binela was excited for Felix's close breakthrough, while Marquina had a strange expression on her face.

It was obvious that Felix's breakthrough was going to be a success, but Marquina still seemed unconvinced about what was happening.

She was really insecure.

Binela patted her shoulder as she looked at Felix's silhouette, who was currently floating and creating a domain with his aura:

"You should observe this better. It will help your future breakthrough in the orange aura level..."

Marquina shook her head as she looked up at Felix and decided to believe in him.

Felix's body started to buff up a little under the continuous energy rampage that went through him, as his aura evolved his hex energy started to upgrade, and in this situation, it changed his overall body structure as well. It wasn't as big as his usual evolutions when he ate the bodies of different races, but it wasn't that small either.

It was something of an in-between upgrade.

Felix's floating body suddenly stopped as the rest of the 40% purple aura slowly started to wither and disappear as an orange glow overtook it. It was just like the sun coming up in the morning and lighting up the dark world, unleashing the power of the day.

Felix breathed in as all of his new aura domain entered his body and he floated down to a different place. He now stood in the perfect spot for an ambush, seemingly as if he didn't even know about that fact.

Binela and Marquina approached him slowly from their hiding spot, Felix looked at them and then suddenly appeared between them, his open hands at each of his enemy's chests. Ready to blast them into smithereens.

However, Felix didn't take the shot as he looked into the eyes of the scared Binela and Marquina. Even the current Binela, who previously could fight one on one with Felix, and maybe even win, in certain situations couldn't do anything besides surrendering to him after his breakthrough.

She knew that if Felix unleashed his new energy, her body would become a scorching pile of dust in no time, unlike before, where she could have tanked the attack and even retaliated.

Felix opened his mouth as his strong voice was finally heard, his chest muscles slowly moving up and down as he still found control of the new energy in his body:

"Why did you only watch and not attack me? Did you know that your attacks would have fueled my breakthrough, and you thought that you could ambush me afterward? Or do you want to give up?"

Felix wasn't an unreasonable person. As long as they swore on their ancestors that they would become allies of the humans, he could let them go so they could fight together.

Binela took a step forward as Felix's open hand found itself into her two bouncy orbs, which would have flustered Felix if they weren't in a life and death confrontational battlefield. After all, he never had many thoughts about the fairer sex because he was a cat, and even though there were cat people on the planet that could morph into a cat form. He found it rather strange having a relationship with them, as he didn't have a human form of his own.

"What are you thinking of doing?"

Felix narrowed his eyes. The grip on the orbs strengthened to the point that a combination of pain and arousal appeared on Binela's face.

"I'm giving myself to you, and I have no other requirements besides impregnating me. I will be your warrior in life and death!"

Binela was extremely direct as she winked at Felix.

Felix found her actions to be rather sudden, but since she wanted to give up, he wasn't someone that would kill her if she knew she was outclassed.

"I can let you go. But you need to swear an oath on your ancestors to never betray me."

Binela smiled as she immediately said in a high pitched tone of voice which indicated she was currently exhausting some type of energy inside of her:

"I, Binela Carmona the second of the Carmona family hereby swear on my dearest ancestors that I will serve the man in front of me till my death. And if I shall break this oath, may my ancestors smite me from their resting place, breaking my bones, popping my eyes, and destroying my internal organs before letting me decay alive for ten thousand days."

Purple energy engulfed Binela's pale body and bound her to Felix's soul as Felix felt the connection between them.

Marquina felt that everything Binela did was too quick, but when she saw that Felix was now glancing at her, she knew what to do.

Marquina opened her mouth as she intoned the same vicious oath just as Binela did, copying word for word, the only difference being the family name which was Silhto.

Felix nodded as he let down his hands, not threatening the life of the duo anymore.

He looked towards the biggest ship where Marshallo was as he narrowed his eyes. He could feel a wild aura that made his hair stand on end, slowly accumulating there.

A gigantic laughing and screaming skull that was half orange- half yellow appeared behind the ship as an explosion engulfed it, destroying it thoroughly until nothing remained inside. Only the twin's newly revived naked half bodies appeared as they looked at Marshallo with a gaze that showed how much they feared him.

Marshallo laughed boisterously as he started to take slow steps through space towards Felix. His face was a mask of madness as his appearance slowly came through to Felix.
