Chapter 20: Another Ring! Golden Finger Fusion!

Chapter 20: Another Ring! Golden Finger Fusion!

Soon, Su Mo returned to the castle and silently used the items exchanged from the Krypton gold system to improve his human strength.

Shortly after settling back in the castle, Xi Wei returned once again. Master, I had a stroke of luck. Can you guess what I stumbled upon? She said with a grin.

Su Mo glanced at the protagonist panel, already aware that Xi Wei had brought back a protagonist.

As expected, nothing can be kept hidden from the master, Xi Wei said, realising she couldnt keep the secret from Su Mo. She then produced a bag from her space bag.

Upon opening the bag, a comatose protagonist was revealed inside. Master, while I was searching for opportunities in a certain place, I stumbled upon him, Xi Wei told how she captured the protagonist.

During the past few days, Xi Wei sought opportunities to gain experience from the two-ring grandfathers. These opportunities were all in dangerous locations, but they were all worthwhile. Unfortunately, due to Su Mos negative luck, some places had already been taken by the time Xi Wei arrived. She had to remain vigilant, quickly move to another location, and then hide.

Finally, Xi Wei found a suitable location that was underground, allowing her to attack with all her might. Otherwise, the soul of the legendary warrior in this mans ring would not be easy to deal with, Xi Wei explained, noting that her strength was even stronger than Nancys.

After explaining the story, Xi Wei presented a ring to Su Mo, who took it and quickly examined its information. This is a bronze ring with the protagonists golden finger at the bronze level. After killing the protagonist, you can obtain the rings authority by spending 50 villain points, Su Mo read aloud.

The system also provided a reminder, stating that multiple bronze rings could be fused, reducing the required villain value for upgrading. Su Mo then noticed another bronze ring and wondered if it could be integrated. If so, it might be possible to fuse the golden fingers as well, thus reducing the villain value required for upgrading to the silver level.

As Su Mo inspected the bronze ring, he noticed that there was still a bound Grandpa Ring inside. Using his divine sense, Su Mo discovered that the Grandpa Ring had belonged to a former legendary warrior. There were magicians, warriors, and knights in this world, with magic being the most advanced. However, many warriors and knights also practised fighting spirits.

Without hesitation, Su Mo reached out and took the Grandpa Ring. Xi Wei had already defeated the former owner, so the Grandpa Ring was lifeless.

Su Mo inquired about the opportunities he had prepared for the protagonist before presenting the older man ring with a boxed lunch. Subsequently, Su Mo eliminated the protagonist who possessed the ring, taking both the ring and a significant portion of the protagonists luck.

After acquiring the luck, Su Mo checked his villain panel, and to his relief, the Luck column had finally changed from -25 to 3! The luck value had finally turned positive!

By eliminating four protagonists, Su Mo restored his luck value to a positive number. However, he knew that he had to be careful because the entire world would eventually target him due to his actions.

After defeating the protagonist and taking his ring, Su Mo spent 50 villain points to obtain permission for the bronze ring. Upon checking his villain panel, the authority of the bronze ring appeared, allowing him to fuse two bronze rings.

Su Mo selected the option to fuse the two bronze rings, and soon after, he noticed a change in the rings description. It now reads, Item: Bronze ring (enhanced), which costs 60 villain points and can be summoned by ring spirits.

Su Mo clicked on the upgrade button behind the panel of the newly fused bronze ring and saw that it would require 250 villain points to upgrade it to the silver level. This was a significant reduction compared to the original 500 villain points required for a bronze ring to reach the silver level.

Su Mo was pleased to have saved half of the villain value needed for upgrading after fusing the two rings. It was a good deal for him.

Su Mo realised that even catching protagonists with similar cheat abilities could be beneficial, as their rings could still be fused with his own, reducing the villain value required for upgrading. In this way, he could use their cheat abilities, and they wouldnt be entirely useless to him.
