Chapter 1104.3: Representation War (Part 3)
Every single native in Central Plains gradually adapted to Darlac as their body sizes morphed accordingly. Monsters from a cultivation world were too massive as compared to one from a magic world at similar power scales.
In the Darble World, all creatures were tiny in comparison. And now, the various races in Central Plains were simply shrinking in response. But, there was one advantage to the large monsters here.
When their bodies shrunk, the excess body mass was burned into energy and converted into their reservoir of Darlac. So, they ended up profiting in that way, gaining a leap in strength in the new rules of the world they lived in.
708 Grade 2 Systems!
That's how many Grade 2 Systems existed in total, since the history of the System World. Many had died under the hands of Slayer, Arnark, and Compass Carburettor. But in the era of System Supremacy, quite a few Grade 1 Systems swallowed their genres and attained Grade 2 status.
Therefore, the total number of Grade 2 Systems in Central Plains exceeded 600.
An average Grade 2 System controlled at least a dozen worlds. As they were racially limited, they just spread their races through many worlds. So, multiple races lived in a world, some were Hosts to Systems while others were natural natives of such worlds.
The number of Hosts for a Grade 2 System numbered a couple dozen billion at the very least, even for the weakest among Grade 2 Systems. The stronger ones probably had Hosts in the trillions.
And now, every single Host of every single active Grade 2 System was in Central Plains. The number of living beings here was simply unscalable. It was by far the most populous universe in the entire multiverse.
Ahjar was pretty exhausted now, having unleashed his Genre Representation. But since he was within the territory influenced by his Genre Representation, he was empowered. As long as he remained within Central Plains, he was a lot stronger than usual.
His recovery too was faster.
"I can't rest yet," Sighing, Ahjar churned his Concept of Space once again, unleashing another ability.
Primary Factor—Exploration!
Space ruptured as the Central Plains gradually began to turn transparent. The moment all contact with the Grade 2 Systems was cut off, Zaira was alerted. But she had too much on her plate. And by the time she could send a sentry to the place, Central Plains was no more.
Ahjar had transported it to a discrete location in the multiverse, located closer to the cluster of Mystique's worlds. But Central Plains wasn't in the way of the universes under Mystique moving to form a cluster. It was located right beside the chaos, using them as a defensive line.
With this, it wouldn't be easy for Zaira to barge into Central Plains. The current situation harnessed all her attention to the breach in the System World through which Genre Representatives charged inside, accompanied by their respective armies.
From the start, the goal was to distract her. While she was distracted by one problem, they created another. In such a way, they caused Zaira to run in circles while completing their objectives one after another.
By now, Ahjar was dead tired, having been unleashing peak abilities in succession. Moreover, transporting the entire Central Plains without issues took a severe toll on him. He still had to actively maintain his Tertiary Factor of Restriction Order.
Otherwise, the natives would regain use of their System powers. Groaning in exhaustion, Ahjar focused part of his mind on maintaining the Tertiary Factor of Restriction Order. The remainder rested while his body gradually healed.
His Concept of Space too was gradually refilled with power as the concept was empowered by use throughout the multiverse. "Let me take a long nap."
At this point, his work was done. The rest lay in the hands of Hazen and Compass Carburettor. In interest, Ahjar grinned, "I hope to be surprised once I wake up."
…
Phew!
Hazen exhaled softly as he stood atop a mountain and crushed the sphere in his hand. Beams of light spilled out of it, numbering a couple thousand.
They were all Secret Society members, elites even among them. They were special Grade 1 Systems personally recruited by Compass Carburettor, those that were approaching the peak of Grade 1 or were already at the peak.
"Ah! This world is perfect!" Harem inhaled softly and felt the Darlac in his body stir up in response, "This is a world that supports Darlac. My growth would be faster here."
He acted as the representative of the group of Secret Society members and stared at Hazen, asking calmly, "So, what's the plan here?"
"Any orders from the Creator?"
"Just one," Hazen nodded and pointed across the infinitely stretching land, "Go out there and carve a path of blood. The bloodier the better. You can create your own empires."
"The Darble Dungeons of the lot of you have developed enough to spawn Haggons, which is why the lot of you have been selected." He concluded.
"So, if I get this right," Harem grinned widely, "I'm free to do whatever I want, right?"
"Except having children with the rest of the natives here. They might no longer express it, but slumbering within them all is a System fragment…"
"Of course, I know that." Harem rolled his eyes, "Who do you think you're talking to?"
He waved and pointed at the rest of the Secret Society members, saying as they laughed, "Everyone here was once an elite Grade 1 System. We know what's happening here."
"And you needn't worry," Harem snorted, "Members of Secret Society are innately repulsed by System Hosts. That's how we detect them in the first place. So, even I would find it impossible to have a child with a System Host, not to mention the rest here."
"I know," Hazen sighed and transformed into a Haggon, "I'm a member too, same for Ahjar."
He then stared at the Secret Society members, "If there's anything else, we'll communicate through the Darble Network."
By now, the entirety of Hazen's powers had been suppressed, thanks to the effects of Central Plains. Its foundation was deep enough to suppress even his universality nature, for that was one of the functions of the Lore Sphere Ahjar fused with Central Plains.
It was necessary for their plans. As he was aware beforehand, Hazen had long since prepared similar abilities using Darlac as a medium.
Having become a six-metre-tall Haggon, Hazen descended the mountain and rushed in a particular direction. All the Secret Society members too did the same, with each proceeding in a respective direction of their choice.
Central Plains was created to be a battlefield. But their addition would make it a slaughterhouse instead.
