Chapter 78 Winter
Arlan didn't give the blueprint to Dickoy. The man's identity was still questionable and it was unknown if he was connected to his enemies.
Arlan left the restaurant after reaching an agreement with Dickoy.
It was already 6:48 p.m. when they return to the villa. Karl was still not there, but he informed Arlan about the progress of his task.
At around 11 p.m., Arlan received an email from Dickoy. It was the list of researchers who would join the project they discussed earlier.
Arlan gave the list to Fabian and asked him to investigate these people.
"Arlan, who are these people? Why do you need their information?" Fabian asked after receiving the list from him.
"Uncle Fabian, these people are researchers of the Arms Corporation of Maharlika. They will be doing a top-secret project for me and I don't want any sneaky character to join the research." Arlan didn't tell him about the Black Dragon Assault Helicopter.
"Alright. I'll send their information to you tomorrow, but you have to promise me that you will let your uncle sleep well in the next few days." Fabian muttered jokingly.
"Hahaha! Sure!" Arlan disconnected the call. The information that the police have about those men is only superficial, but there was nothing he could do since there wasn't a reliable intelligence agency in Maharlika. 'It looks like I have to establish my own intelligence unit. Sigh! I have so many things to do...' Arlan grumbled in his heart.
He now realized that it wasn't easy to be rich. He had to meet a lot of people and he didn't even have a lot of time for himself.
The next day, Arlan received the information of the researchers from Fabian. He transferred the information to his laptop and he also copied the document to his hard drive.
After doing all of this, Arlan grabbed his phone and checked the notifications on the mysterious app.
[Congratulations! You claimed one chance to create an Advanced Artificial Life Form!]
Arlan laughed heartily when he saw the reward. It was actually another chance to create an Advanced Artificial Life Form! Last time, he created Khalon since he needed someone who could protect him. "What kind of Advanced Artificial Life Form should I make this time?" Arlan was deep in thought.
He already had Khalon, Karl, and the Elliot siblings as his warriors. The person he needed right now was someone good in technology and research.
Thinking about this, Arlan's eyes lit up. With this in mind, Arlan started to edit the character interface on his device.
Arlan designed a black-haired woman in her late twenties with Asian features. She had a shoulder-length hair and a pair of hazel-colored eyes. She was 5'7 feet in height and has a curvaceous figure.
Arlan was mesmerized when he saw what he had created. "No. She is too beautiful that she doesn't look human anymore. That won't do." Arlan slightly lowered her beauty. He added some freckles on her face and he also made her personality cold and indifferent. This time, she no longer looked unnatural, but her beauty was still unparalleled.
For her talents and skills, the interface didn't allow him to max out everything so he had to choose carefully. After careful deliberation, he maxed out her software development, hacking, engineering, etc. Arlan also added some fighting techniques to her abilities. Although she wouldn't be as good as Khalon, she would still be better than elite soldiers.
Arlan carefully checked everything. He then pressed [Create].
Soon, a metal casket appeared in front of him. He eagerly opened the lid and saw a beautiful woman lying inside.
The eyelashes of the woman fluttered as she slowly opened her eyes. "Master..." She muttered when while looking indifferently at Arlan. Her voice was cold like perennial ice.
"From now on, your name will be Winter. You should call me boss from now on." Arlan smiled at the beauty.
Winter sat up straight and nodded her head.
"Stay here first. I'll get some clothes for you." Arlan said while looking away from her. She was too beautiful and he even felt a certain something going hard. 'I shouldn't have made her beautiful...' He muttered in his heart.
Arlan borrowed some clothes from Thelma since her figure was closest to Winter.
"Boss, what do you need them for?" Thelma asked her boss suspiciously.
"Nothing... I'll just let a friend wear them since she didn't bring any extra clothes." Arlan replied before running away.
Thelma stared at him thoughtfully. "Did the boss bring a woman?" She muttered to herself.
Arlan went back to his room and gave the clothes to Winter. "Wear this first. I'll take you to the mall to buy more clothes for you." He muttered.
Winter grabbed the clothes and wore them in front of Arlan.
Arlan's nose bled from the scene, but he immediately looked away. He was afraid that he might do something improper if he continued looking. "Are you done?" He asked.
"Yes."
Arlan slowly turned his head and saw that Winter had already put on the clothes. "Let's go."
And so, Arlan spent the whole day shopping with her. Because of Winter's beauty, all the men they encountered were dazzled by her. Even those who already had a girlfriend and a wife took sneaky glances at her.
Suddenly, Arlan received a call from Karl.
"Boss, I've already gathered fifty men. Do you want me to bring them to the villa?" Karl sounded tired, but there was a trace of excitement in his voice.
Arlan's eyes flashed with joy upon hearing this. "Good job! Quick! Bring them to the villa! I want to see them." He said eagerly. He already had the Arms Corporation of Maharlika so he no longer had to worry about having enough weapons and equipment. He also had Ben Hidalgo who could give him more advanced weapons from the international market.
"Yes, boss!"
Arlan stared at Winter and said. "Let's go back to the villa. I also have a task for you and it is of great importance. I want you to make a device that could transport us into a virtual reality world!"
Arlan wanted to make use of the virtual reality world to train his soldiers!
