Chapter 61 Furious Police Station Chief
Knock! Knock! Knock!
Karl entered the room and said. "Boss, dinner is ready."
Hearing this, Arlan stood up while smiling at Fabian. "We should eat first, Uncle Fabian. You can tell me your decision later."
Fabian nodded his head as he stood up from his seat.
Arlan walked with Fabian to the dining room, while Karl and Khalon silently followed behind them.
It was only at this moment did Fabian realized the magnificence of the villa. From the shiny marbled floor, the elegant modern crystal chandelier, and the pristine glass walls- everything was luxurious to him. He wondered what business Arlan's family does for them to afford such a beautiful villa. From his rough estimates, the value of the villa was more than 600 million dollars. Only a few families in the country had enough wealth to purchase this villa.
The moment they arrived in the dining hall, he saw a table full of all sorts of local delicacies. Two beautiful women in maid uniforms came to greet them. Their looks were on par with the top actresses in their country and their beauty was enhanced by their temperament.
There were only two chairs at the moment and they were placed opposite of each other.
Looking at the array of expensive-looking dishes and wines, Fabian was overwhelmed. "You even prepared so many foods for me and most of them are my favorite. You did your research well, Arlan."
Arlan chuckled at his words. "Please sit and dine with me."
The two tacitly agreed not to mention anything about the serious matters. They only chatted about their common interests and this went on until they were done eating.
"Have you decided, Uncle Fabian?" Arlan asked as he gave a signal to the two maids with his eyes.
When they saw his signal, the maids bowed before leaving the dining room.
Fabian leaned on his chair and stared deeply at Arlan. He then stood up and extended his hand to Arlan while saying. "You have a deal."
"Great!" Arlan grinned and shook hands with him.
They chatted briefly and Arlan also gave him the hard drive.
"Uncle Fabian, if you need any help, just call me." Arlan muttered.
Fabian knew that he wouldn't be able to accomplish this task without Arlan's help so he nodded his head. "I will. When the mission is announced, I will tell you the details."
Soon, Fabian bid farewell and Arlan told Karl to escort Fabian to the Taguig Police Station.
When Fabian arrived at the police station, it was already 9 p.m.
The chief of the station, Lieutenant Donnyl Lisondra, glared at him and shouted. "Where have you been?! You even made me wait for you!"
Fabian smiled sheepishly while looking at the furious Lieutenant Donnyl. "Chief, I went to meet one of my informants. He told me that he has information regarding Leandro's drug cartel so I immediately scheduled a meeting for him."
Lieutenant Donnyl slammed the table upon hearing his words. "What's the use of that information?! Even if we had evidence about their crimes, we wouldn't be able to capture them! Fabian, you've been an officer for many years so you should know how difficult it is to catch those criminals. We have been dealing with them for over ten years now, but we haven't even captured one of their top members!"
Fabian frowned and replied in a slightly higher volume. "Chief, that's why I'm trying to find some clues so that we can gather more conclusive evidence against them. If we can plan a raid without alerting them, we would have a chance to capture those people!"
When the other police officers noticed that the situation might turn for the worst, they immediately pulled Fabian and told him to calm down.
"Sir Fabian, calm down. There is no need for us to fight between ourselves."
"Our enemies are the criminals. There shouldn't be an internal conflict between us."
Lieutenant Donnyl snorted and went back to his office angrily.
Looking at his back, Fabian narrowed his eyes as he muttered in his mind. 'Can I trust this fellow?' After Arlan's warning, he became wary of everyone including his own teammates.

Arlan went to his room and checked his social media.
He noticed that there were messages from his friends and high school classmates. Most of them were asking him about his job or where he currently lived. There were also many female acquaintances who were once indifferent to him that sent him flirtatious messages.
"Is this because of the last photo I posted?" Arlan muttered to himself. He didn't send a reply to those women since most of them weren't even close to him. He only replied to his close friends.
Just as Arlan was about to sleep, he suddenly received a call from Hayashi Kenji, the General Manager of Mazda Motor.
"Good evening, Mr. Roa! Did I disturb you?"
"No. Why did you call me at this time of the day?" Arlan asked curiously.
"This is about the customized Mazda CX-90 that we will be sending to you, Mr. Roa. I've been notified by our delivery personnel that the car will be delivered to you tomorrow at around 7 to 8 in the morning."
"Oh, so it's about that? Alright, thanks for letting me know."
"That's all I want to say, Mr. Roa. Thank you for your time."
"Sure, bye." Arlan was no longer interested in the car that Mazda would send to him. If it was before, he would be jumping in joy by now. However, he already had the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento that he haven't even used.
The next day, Arlan claimed his daily reward as soon as he woke up.
[Congratulations! You claimed 1 Agusta Westland AW109S Grand private helicopter!]
Arlan jumped up from his bed when he saw the reward he claimed. "It's actually a private helicopter! Wait, how much does it cost?" He searched for the name of the helicopter online and he was dumbfounded when he saw the price.
