Chapter 51 Latte Filipino
Khalon crouched down and gave the man a crisp slap.
Pa!
A red handprint could be seen on the man's face who revealed a look of horror as he stared at Khalon.
"S-Sir, I won't do it again! I promise!" The man shouted in a shaky voice.
Without saying anything, Khalon grabbed the man by the neck with his left hand. He then poked the man's right eye with his right hand, making the man scream like a pig on slaughter.
"Hkkkhkk!!!"
Blood sprayed all over Khalon's face as he gouged out the man's eyeball. The man's struggles intensified, but under Khalon's strong grip, he could only squirm pitifully while groaning in pain.
While firmly holding the man's neck, Khalon stuffed the bloody eyeball into the man's mouth before releasing his grip on the man's neck.
"Gack! Awk!" The man let out choking sounds as he grabbed his neck with both hands. He then spat the bloody eyeball into the ground and coughed violently.
"Cough! Cough! Cough!"
A moment later, the man started screaming once again. "My eye! Ahh!! It hurts!"
Khalon frowned as he stared at the screaming man. He aimed the Glock 19 pistol towards the man's head and pulled the trigger.
Bang!
Thud!
A bloody hole emerged in the man's head. Blood and brain matter oozed out from the hole, slowly forming a small puddle of blood.
"You're too noisy." Khalon muttered coldly while staring at the corpse.
The two men stared at their dead comrade in fear. Their legs shook visibly and they could hardly stand on their feet because of the intense nervousness they were feeling.
"Continue digging!" Khalon's demon-like voice drifted into their ears. The two men jolted as if they had been electrocuted when they heard his voice.
"Y-Yes, sir!"
Karl stared at Khalon with a drop of sweat on his forehead. The man was too cruel and he didn't even see a hint of remorse on Khalon's face. It was as if the horrific acts he had committed were something ordinary.
Soon, a deep pit was created after the two men tirelessly dug the ground. They were then swiftly executed by Khalon with two shots from the Glock 19.
"Throw their bodies into the pit and burn them using the gasoline." Khalon instructed.
Karl took a deep breath and nodded his head. He was already part of this crime so he could only brace himself for what was to come.
Karl dragged the corpses and threw them into the pit. He then poured the gasoline into their bodies. After pouring everything, he lit the lighter and tossed it into the pit. "Forgive me..." He muttered.
Looking at the burning pit, a complex look was reflected in Karl's eyes. He never thought that he would see something like this again after retiring from the army.

Arlan followed the recipe of the Transcendent Coffee. The brewing method was already in his mind and it was like second nature to him.
Some coffees needed a long time to prepare, but the Transcendent Coffee was different. Arlan didn't need to go through so many complicated steps to brew the coffee.
After less than thirty minutes, Arlan handed the freshly brewed coffee to Laurence and Morgan. "Please have a taste of my creation and tell me your thoughts."
Both old men inhaled the unique aroma of the coffee. The smell was strong and fragrant. They felt that their hearts were filled with happiness the moment the aroma of the coffee entered their nostrils.
When Laurence and Morgan tasted the coffee, they were deeply moved. They had never tasted anything so divine in their entire life!
"This is simply perfect! Mr. Roa, have you named this wonderful coffee?" Laurence exclaimed. Morgan nodded his head in agreement. The taste of the coffee was beyond his expectations. He never thought that Arlan could actually brew something so delicious.
'The coffee already has a name, but naming it Transcendent Coffee is too edgy.' After a short moment of silence, Arlan smiled and said. "It's called Latte Filipino." It was the name that suddenly came into his mind.
"Latte Filipino... That's a good name..." Laurence smiled before taking another sip of the coffee. Morgan also took another sip and he felt like he had tasted the essence of an immortal.
Both Laurence and Morgan were satisfied with the coffee and they even approved of the idea of putting Latte Filipino on Starbucks' menu.
"Mr. Roa, you are now the second largest shareholder of Starbucks. Including, Morgan and I, we should be able to influence the decision of the other shareholders. Just send us a sample of the coffee during the next shareholders' meeting. I believe everyone would love it." Laurence fell in love with the coffee after tasting it and he wanted nothing more than to add it to Starbucks' menu.
Morgan nodded his head and said. "Just give us some time to talk with the other shareholders. It shouldn't take long for us to negotiate this."
"Wonderful!" Arlan smiled in joy, while Krizia clapped her hands happily.
The group chatted with a joyous atmosphere and they only parted ways after Laurence and Morgan started to feel sleepy. Krizia escorted the two old men to their suites, while Arlan waited for Khalon and Karl to return.
When the time was 1:47 a.m., Arlan finally saw the Subaru Forester entering the parking lot in the basement.
Khalon stepped out of the vehicle in a new set of clothes. They were covered in blood earlier so they cleaned themselves in a river and bought a new set of clothes.
"Boss, we have completed the task." Khalon reported calmly.
Arlan nodded his head upon hearing the report. "I know you have a lot of questions, but it's already late. You should get some rest. I'll tell you everything tomorrow." He said while looking at Karl.
Karl stared deeply at Arlan. "Yes, boss." It was only now that he realized that his young boss was filled with mystery.
