Chapter 220 - Announcements
"What the hell?! Who are you?! Why did you do that?! I am on the way to meeting with Ellena through negotiation but you just interrupted it." Rafael suddenly exploded with a handful of questions as soon as they stepped on a surface.
Killian was just expressionless, looked at Rafael, and then bowed before him.
"Please forgive me. The Supreme ordered me to not let you meet with Verxal." Killian explained.
"Why? Do you know the reason?"
Killian just shook his head.
"I might not know the exact reason, but it was threatening your life. I couldn't afford to make any suspicions for you in that city." Killian furthermore pressed.
"Okay! Okay! Just humans... You all are so complicated. Don't you follow the hierarchy strictly?"
Killian was suddenly dumbfounded at the question Rafael asked.
He cleared his throat then answered.
"We are. But humans... are different from each other." Killian said with a hint of confusion behind his face.
'Why is he asking this question?'
"Sighs... I will understand. But what do I do now? I can't find Ellena! And right now, obviously, I won't find her again."
"Please forgive me."
Rafael just sighed, then faced Killian with some uncertain expression.
"Okay. If I can't find her, I will just retain my strength. You are a subordinate of my brother, right? Help me gain power. I can't let humans overpower me," he said with determination.
'Aren't you also a human?'
Even confused, Killian just nodded and followed Rafael's words.

The city of Phlabian was in chaos. Big individuals and normal citizens were standing in front of Murphey's residence gate, complaining about Noelle's sudden departure from the city.
"Just how did those people learn about this?" The head of the Murphey family, Rodrigo Murphey, suddenly asked the heir.
"I don't know father. But the looks of it, perhaps they heard it from somewhere." Verxal answered.
"Do you think Miss Ellena leaked it to them to destroy our reputation? Her organization was right next to our power, and her abrupt departure would lead us to believe that we despised their power. I only let that friend of yours organization remain standing because you asked for it."
"I know, father. But you also agreed to it because you liked her adventurer's aura, didn't you?" He replied with a question, capturing his father's whole attention.
Rodrigo Murphey just looked at his son with a static expression then after a few seconds, he sighed.
"Alright. Please call for Miss Ellena. I will talk with her about this. We have a property near Balutte, right?"
Hearing it, Verxal's expression suddenly surfaced and he couldn't hide that he was expecting something from his father's words.
"Doesn't that mean you'll give that land to her?" Verxal asked.
Rodrigo Murphey just scoffed.
"Not actually give. In the meantime, I am thinking of just letting them have the land. In exchange, we will maintain our relationship with her. A person like her is rare, and thus, we must grab it since she was still trusting us."
"If you are talking about it father, shouldn't you just give the land to her? It won't be useful to us if we leave it to our name."
"Don't be stupid, Verxal. Didn't I tell you we'd give her the land in the meantime? Because if we suddenly give the land to her, people might suspect it. If that land isn't still in our name, people will try to grab it away from her, and we won't be able to fight it since she still doesn't have her own noble family."
"Doesn't that mean?..."
"Yes. We will wait until she gained her own court rank. She is away from her territory so her family name will be useless. Thus, we will protect her until she has court rank."
After hearing his father's thoughtful decision, Verxal suddenly leaped in joy.
"You are the best father!"

After being called for an audience with the head of the Murphey family, Ellena went to their residence.
And after it, talking with him for a few minutes, Aaron was left in awe. He still couldn't believe what the whole conversation was all about.
It just means that their problem of having a proper headquarters is already answered.
He couldn't help but make a silly smile in front of Ellena, who was also sharing the same emotion as him.
'You look silly.' Ellena then shook her head with a slight snicker behind it.
"You also liked it! Didn't you?"
'Yeah. I wasn't expecting it. Perhaps, Lord Rodrigo was liking our organization that he wanted to protect us and at the same time his people.'
"Yeah. Even though it was slightly away from the city, it wasn't bad since he can't protect you from harmful threats, but he will protect you from human affairs which were just behind you." Aaron said.
'Maybe that was it.' Ellena just shrugged.
And as they left the premises, people bombarded her again with questions about what had just happened.
Ellena just waved at them and slightly cleared their confusion.
"The head wasn't driving us out. After a few threats to my life and also some threats to the public because of it, we both decided that it would be better for me to leave. However, it doesn't mean that I won't be associated with the city. There are still normal people here that I am willing to help, so since we can't move the organization, we will still remain here with some of The Black Summons ready to accommodate you. If our new headquarters is finished, you can ask the Murphey Family for inquiries. They will help your message and request be sent to us."
After explaining things to the public, Ellena sunk herself in her soft bed.
"You look tired," Aaron remarked.
"Yup. Those people were surprisingly good with stressing me with their questions." Ellena then sighed.
"What a word from you."
"Stooop!!!"
As Ellena felt that Aaron was trying to tease her, she immediately cut him off.
"Okay!"

After a few hours, Ellena went down from her room and met with the other girls.
She started talking with them, and afterward, she made an announcement.
"Everyone will have to leave the city with me. But it doesn't mean that we won't be accepting requests from the public. Before we leave, I am thinking about recruiting citizens from the city to manage this place. This will be just a branch of the organization, but it will happen regardless of whether we build the new headquarters." Ellena said.
"Ellena, does that mean we'll be making another department for the recruitment?" Selena suddenly asked.
Ellena nodded.
"Yes. But what we will look for here is a person capable of moving information safely. In that case, that person will be in charge of the management of this building."
"Then, Master, when will it be due?" Rosellete asked.
"One month. Within one month, we must find a person like what I described, and within that time, half of us will be at Balutte City and the other half will be at the new headquarters."
Their eyes suddenly flickered as soon as they heard Ellena's other announcement. Concerning the headquarters, which they were considering because they knew it would be bad to remain next in power to the Murphey Family.
"Lord Rodrigo lent us land near the capital and it will be our new headquarters. It will probably take a month to prepare, so that's why, before that time, we need to leave a person here." Ellena added.
Everyone was happy to hear about it. Not just they'll have their own separate land from the city, but also keep the people away from Ellena's threatening presence.
However, there was something that they were curious and worried about. It was about that this deal Ellena made with the head of Murphey family is a way to keep them on their watch and also control her.
Of course, Aaron thought about it, but being able to feel the auras of people is quite useful. It cleared his suspicion.
But Ellena's subordinates are still worried about it.
"Don't worry. I know what you are thinking and I can assure you that it will be okay."
All of them sighed as they believed their master.
And so, they continued talking about their plans for how to manage the organization. Of course, with the help of the candidates of the respective departments, the meeting went smoothly.

'Kukukuku!!! Humans are really amazing! Even if they weren't as greedy as us demons, there were plenty of them that I could collect plenty of their greed to fuel my power.'
Sin of Greed was walking down a street in an unknown place. The place was like a slum, but there were still people around walking as if it was normal.
There were also shops, but they seemed to be degrading for a long time.
He smiled, thinking of it as a perfect place to get another power.
And so, he looked for the landlord of the place.
'I smell greed!' he grinned as there was some energy attracting him. It was coming from a grandiose mansion just away from the marketplace of this place.
He followed it, and as it was crazily going strong, he jumped into the mansion at a tall height. And as he landed, the guards were alarmed that they immediately pointed their weapons at him.
'I don't need this vessel anymore. I need that greedy human as my vessel!'
