Chapter 67 - Blackstar Iron Handcuffs
"Never mind that." Klein Seymour waved off Quinn Richmond's question before demanding, "Quickly tell me more about your findings on this brick."
Seeing his question was avoided, Quinn Richmond did not put it to heart and shrugged nonchalantly.
Shortly after, he casually spoke, "Well. The horrendous stench aside, it is actually very impressive how compacted and dense this block of turd is. I'm not sure who was bored to refine such a thing, but they managed to keep it in such a fresh state despite its present hardness."
"Wait a minute, Quinn. Are you saying this brick of a turd can become even harder?" Klein Seymour asked with surprise.
"That is exactly what I am saying." Quinn Richmond nodded before he continued explaining, "Just like normal turds, they harden after undergoing oxidization. The only difference is this turd is on a whole different level of hardness. You can say it's the mother turd of all turds."
Although Quinn Richmond spoke about turds with such solemness, it was hard for Klein Seymour to take him seriously.
"And so? What are you trying to say?" Klein Seymour inquired.
Quinn Richmond grinned before he spoke with enthusiasm, "The solidarity, denseness, and even the weight of this brick turd place it on the same level as steel after oxidization. If taken to a blacksmith, it could be forged into some ultimate weapon of warfare."
"What kind of ultimate weapon of warfare can a blacksmith possibly forge in this day and age?" Klein Seymour queried with confusion.
"Nothing too fancy. A sword of simple design will do."
"Are you kidding me? How can swords defeat firearms nowadays? You'd be shot dead before you can close the gap to hack someone to death." Klein Seymour spoke reasonably.
"Oh, believe me, it definitely can." Quinn Richmond grinned and said, "Just its smell alone is enough to defeat an entire battalion."
"…"
Klein Seymour struck speechless before he recovering after a moment and snorted grumpily, "I'm going home."
"Hahaha. If you find another piece of turd like this, remember to send it over as soon as possible. It'll be easier for me to study the fresher it is." Quinn Richmond laughed as he watched Klein Seymour leaving helplessly with a wave of his hand.
After Klein Seymour left, Quinn Richmond shifted his gaze to the brick turd inside the glove box with an amusing look.
Evidently, the brick turd was not refined by anyone but came to be in its most natural state.
"What kind of divine dragon took a sh*t like this?" Quinn Richmond muttered with intense curiosity before his nose suddenly twitched with a few sniffs.
"Bleurgh!"
The subtle foul smell in the air immediately made Quinn Richmond gagged before he reached out from the half-empty can of air freshener to spray the room.
…
Back in the western outskirts of Silvercove, Estelle Xiao and Reagan Declan continued to battle on the streets outside of Westside Temptation.
After clashing in another exchange of blows, the two separated with shortness of breath from their intense combat.
"Just give up. You can't beat me." Reagan Declan spoke confidently, but in truth, he was inwardly alarmed.
Although he was stronger without a doubt, the policewoman was not losing any ground even after he went all out!
"Finish her off quickly, boss!"
"Don't give her anymore handicap, boss!"
The gang members cheered, unaware that their boss had been going all out without gaining any advantage over Estelle Xiao.
If one of Reagan Declan's hands was not broken, things might have turned out differently.
Nevertheless, Albion realized that Estelle Xiao's martial art techniques were not simple. At the very least, her skills were on a higher grade compared to what Reagan Declan practiced.
"It seems her background is not simple…" Albion muttered with wrinkled brows.
Shortly after, he shouted, "That's enough fighting. You can stand down. She's with me."
"Boss?" Reagan Declan was surprised but he quickly nodded, "Yes, boss!"
At the same time, Estelle Xiao frowned at Reagan Declan's form of address. The Declan Gang's leader was calling someone else his boss?
Estelle Xiao shifted her gaze to the source of the voice coming from the top of the third-story building before her expression froze on Albion's familiar face.
Why did she run into this unlucky star again? Furthermore, this person is the Declan Gang's leader's boss?
Shortly after Albion leaped down and landed in front of her, Estelle Xiao uttered, "It's you!"
"Yes, it's me." Albion nodded before turning towards Reagan Declan, "Go get your hand treated already. Leave this person to m—"
Click.
Albion turned his head back with confusion before he saw one of his hands cuffed.
"…"
He raised his cuffed hand before his gaze slowly shifted to the other cuffed hand that did not belong to him, evidently.
"What are you doing?" Albion asked dumbfoundedly.
"What else does it look like?" Estelle Xiao rolled her eyes and said, "I'm arresting you, obviously!"
"I can see that… but why did you also cuff your own hand?" Albion queried speechlessly.
Estelle Xiao stuck out her chest and proudly explained, "I can't beat you, but so I can only do this to stop you from getting away! These normal handcuffs. Even if you are very powerful, you won't be able to break free from these handcuffs!"
"…Are you an idiot?" Albion was even more speechless before he said, "Even if I can't, I can still kill you, cut your hand, then get the—"
"I don't have the key to these cuffs on me." Estelle Xiao quickly interjected with a strong stance despite shivering with fear in her heart.
The handsome person could definitely do what he said.
However, she wanted to wager on the slim chance that this person might actually follow her back, considering the person did not seem like a completely evil person.
Otherwise, why would this person secretly return her handgun? The person suddenly found his conscience?
Estelle Xiao felt like they could reach some sort of agreement.
But before that, she must pay this person back a little. After all, she did not forget that she was knocked out with a broken hand, doused in wine, and robbed the other night.
Meanwhile, Albion glanced down at the special handcuff.
It was also made of Phantasmium-transformed materials that cannot be found on Earth. However, it was not the same as Bluefire Crystals, but a type of alloy slightly inferior in grade called Blackstar Iron.
Even so, it was something he could break apart once he lifts the seal on his cultivation and go super sai—ahem, become super powerful.
However, he did not intend to do that.
His lips curled up at the thought of something before turning to Reagan Declan, "Inform the others that I will be paying the police station a visit for a bit."
