288  It's a fucking ring!

Sitting on Zhao Tian's lap on the couch, Cai slowly pulled back the kiss, a thin line of saliva connecting their lips.

She raised her hand, tenderly caressing his cheek with her fingers and Zhao Tian spoke, "Luo, let's enter the Lycan Kingdom tonight."

Cai Luo could only sigh and rest her head on his shoulder. "You have already set on it and I couldn't convince you."

"So, win or die, I will stick with you because you are my boyfriend now. But I hope we will come out of this alive."

Her eyes softened as she kissed his nose "I love you, Tian."

Nuzzling her face on his neck, she spoke "Since we have time till the night, Tian, let's go on a date... just the two of us."

"Last time that Zahra ruined everything, so this time is a proper date."

It was already evening and the sun began to cast its evening glow on the world. Standing on the balcony, Cai Luo looked at the orange sun setting on the horizon, a soft smile playing on her lips.

Zhao Tian couldn't help but smile to himself as he observed her enjoying the delicious bite of cake. "Hoh, this tastes good." As she delicately placed the coffee cup back on the table, she eagerly picked up her fork and savored each bite of the the cake.

Zhao Tian watched her in anticipation as she took every bite of the cake. A little later, she finished the cake alone.

Zhao Tian was dumbfounded seeing that she quickly ate the cake "Wait, you ate the full cake?"

Cai Luo nodded her head and spoke "The cake tasted good. So I ate all of it. You want more? I can ask Xiang to buy more."

Zhao Tian facepalmed himself as he looked at Cai Luo 'This damn woman.'

Actually, he placed the ring he prepared for her into the cake, as he thought that would be quite romantic and also a little tease at the same time.

He expected her to feel the ring in her mouth when she eats the cake, but this woman devoured the cake along with the ring he prepared.

Cai Luo tilted her head in confusion seeing his stunned face "Tian... what happened? Are you angry that I ate your cake?"

"Fuck that cake." Zhao Tian let out a sigh and leaned back on the sofa, thinking about how to retrieve the ring from her stomach.

Seeing his face, Cai Luo couldn't control herself anymore and burst into laughter "Pfft. Hahahaha."

She whispered softly and leaned closer, planting a tender kiss on his lips. In that moment, Zhao Tian felt a sensation stirring between his own lips. As Cai Luo retracted her lips, Zhao Tian saw the ring on his lips, and Cai Luo reached out, taking the ring in her hand from his lips.

Zhao Tian smiled dryly, seeing that he was played by Cai Luo. 'This woman...' he could only shake his head

She smiled playfully and rotated the ring in between her fingers "What a romantic way to propose to me, Tian... But I didn't see you buying any rings during our date- n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om

Cai Luo's heart shook and her face froze as she glimpsed at the name 'Cai Luo' engraved on the inside part. H-Huh? Her eyes trembled in immense shock "M-My name? When..." he was with her the whole time during the date, so there is no way he sneaked behind her to buy a ring and to engrave her name on it.

Smiling, Zhao Tian took the ring from her fingers and gently held her wrist as he slid in the beautiful ring on her ring finger.

As soon as the ring reached her finger, Cai Luo's eyes narrowed "This is a.. storage ring?"

Zhao Tian nodded his head "Yeah, it is better than the one you were wearing."

 Cai Luo blinked her eyes in surprise "Tian, this storage ring... how did you get this?"

Zhao Tian chuckled faintly "I created it."

Wha- Cai Luo's jaw dropped upon hearing this "You know how to create storage rings?"

She remembers Ning Xue saying that there was someone in the Royal family in the past and they created the storage rings. Even today, the storage rings that are circulated within the planet Earth were made by that person.

Ning Xue said that, more likely, that person is from the High Stars.
