Chapter 671: Funny Interactions-3
" Sami?" Suddenly he heard Elise's voice. She usually never wake up this early in the morning which was evident looking at her sleepy eyes.
" What are you doing here?" He patted her head but didn't pick her up because she was wearing her favorite pajamas. He didn't want to leave stains on it.
" Grandma Amanda told me to come see you." She said as she yawned. She still haven't noticed the wolves at the distance.
" Did she woke you up?" She shook her head sideways. Maybe it was the wolves that woke her up either way since she was here, he thought about introducing her to the wolves. She was very excited when she learned about them but haven't met any of them yet.
" No, I am dirty and smelly." She put up her arms like usual, a sign for her wanting to be picked up but he refused. He was a bit worried about her getting cold but that's when Amanda came out with a small coat.
" Young master." She also handed him one. He was half naked after all.
" Thanks." He first covered himself and her then picked her up and asked," Do you know what those are?" He asked and moved her face toward the wolves who were sitting on ground busy clearing each other.
It was part of their routine. Since they couldn't bath and there were also some studies saying that they dislike water like most canines, the only way for them to stay clean was to help each other out with grooming.
" Wolfie!" She exclaimed loudly catching the attention of the wolves. They perked up their ears looking at strange little creature in Samuel's arms.
Elise on the other hand was beaming with excitement and even pulling on his collar to move closer to them. It was nice to see kids being curious but Samuel had to teach her few things so that she wouldn't carelessly approach every wild animals. Not everyone had Samuel's supposed animal's understanding power.
Not to disappoint her and since she kept making noise, the wolves were curious enough to flock to the scene.
" Aren't they cool? But you have to promise me not to approach them or any animals without me or other present." He put out his pinky finger.
" Why?" As usual she asked with a confused look. Up until now, most of the ranch animals were very cordial toward her and even showered her with love. In her eyes, she thought they were much more giving compared to experience she had in the past.
" Because they could be dangerous. Some of them don't like to be disturbed. How would you feel if everyone you see tries to talk to you or even touch you constantly?" It might be hard for her to understand so he tried to explain to her calmly.
" Hmm...I will not like it."
" It's the same for them. So never try to do it on your own alright?"
" Un!" She shook her head. Samuel smiled, he was satisfied with their little lesson.

The wolves were gathering around looking at Elise who suddenly went quiet for some reason. Samuel introduced them by holding her around Luna first so she got a whiff of Elise's smell.
" Don't jump on her that will injure her. Be gentle alright everyone?" He reminded them about the rules before finally putting down Elise on the ground.
" That is Luna." Luna came forward and circled around Elise one more time after which she put her snout on Elise's face to give her a little lick. Samuel thought, Elise would scurry back because they just finished their meal which meant their breath must be unbearable for a kid like her but instead she smiled and touched Luna's head.
He began to introduced each wolf as they came to greet Elise in order. Elise would sometime pat their head and even grab their noses but they acted docile not minding her aggressive hands. Samuel was a little relieved seeing them get along.
After small greeting ceremony, Elise started chasing them around. For some reason she picked Titan the biggest male as her target. She would pull on his ear and his fur trying to get on top of him, he was a bit grumpy and even tried to scare her away with his low growl.
Samuel would send death glare everytime he tried to be rude and even Luna would come over to whack him on the head seemingly telling him to behave. In the end he had to give him and accept his fate.
Samuel smiled seeing everything under control. He went back to the bench to get his already cold tea. He sipped it gracefully watching them hurdle around Elise as she giggled extensively whenever they would ruffle her up with their rough tongue.
After few minutes, they sat down around a sunny spot in the garden. Elise finally managed to get on top of Titan laying on his belly like a little monkey.
" Young master?" He heard Amanda calling out for him again.
" Yes?"
" Did you perhaps scare young ladies? They aren't even opening their doors."
" I didn't do anything. It was Luna who barged inside the room surprising them but I never thought they would be so scare of her."
" It's understandable. Not everyone could feel calm around them."
" See there? Even Elise....she had already fallen asleep!" Samuel looked to see her dozing off on top of Titan.
" Oh? She looks to be enjoying herself." Even Amanda was surprised. Despite everything, they decided to leave the girls alone. It's not good to force anyone.
" But I think not for long." Amanda said when she heard people entering the property.
" It must be them." Samuel got up and walked inside to see one of the guards accompanying both his uncles, Peter and Daniel.
...
...
...
" Is it safe for her to sleep like this?" Daniel curiously watched Elise after Samuel explained what had transpired in the last few hours.
" I think it's alright. They were sort of aggressive at first but after I was done with them they seem to understand that there is no danger here."
" Take photos from every angle! You! What are you doing? It's a monumental event. I will need everything to erect the perfect statue so don't be stingy with the camera!" Peter on the other hand only listened until he found Elise and wolves hunkering together.
He ordered every guard to take pictures and even sent few of them up tree so that they could get a better angle. He wanted to run up to meet the wolves personally but Samuel advised against it.
The wolves were relaxing and didn't paying the new guests much attention seeing that Samuel was talking in a friendly tone with them. Even then, Knight and Sage were on the outskirt keeping an eye out for any sudden moment.
" The guards told me that you were bleeding or something. Didn't they attack you?" Daniel asked.
" I made myself big by puffing my body. Maybe they thought I was stronger than them?" Samuel didn't want to tell him everything. He couldn't explain how he exactly got them under control but it was fine as long as no one was hurt.
" Sir, isn't that for bears?" One of the guards pointed out the oblivious flaw in his explanation.
" It it works for bear, it will work for wolves. They gets easily scared." Samuel's confident voice discouraged him from asking any further question despite his confusion.
" What are you going to do with them? There is obviously a hole in our system which we expected but not so soon. It's only been couple of days since they arrived." Daniel asked with a concerned look.
" You are right. They seem to understand so I am thinking about closing the path and making a more clear one if they do want to visit us in the future. It should be undisturbed and follow a route where no one would get in contact with them during their travel."
" Isn't that basically letting them roam freely? What if they visit outside the bounds and end up in someone's home? They might be relaxed at the moment but we can never predict anything because they are wild animals." Daniel didn't think it was a good idea.
" True. Maybe we can make a seperate section around the enclosure where people could come and see them. They have a whole forest to themselves so if they don't like it they could just stay inside the forest undisturbed." It was unfortunate but he didn't know how they could contain them to only stay in his house vicinity without pouring out.
He could only understand what they were feeling and convey his own to them but it was hard to know if they truly understand what he was saying. They weren't exactly human so their intelligence was still in question.
" That's a good alternative but since they tasted this freedom, it's hard to guess if they wouldn't find another way outside the enclosure." Daniel asked.
