Chapter 660: Come on! Not another surprise?!-2
It was finally Hannah's turn, she was excited because Elise had been accompanying everyone on the horse. It was one of those few instances, where she was able to mingle with her without her being scared of her.
" You got it right? Just grab on to her long hair if you feel like falling." He gave her few pointers. Sjor didn't like saddles so it made the ride that much dangerous because one needed powerful legs and hips to be able to ride such a large horse without it.
" Sjors, slowly circle the Ranch. Don't get excited and run around or you will hurt them alright?" He whispered to her to which Sjors shook her head giving a small grunt. He patted her behind making her sprung into action.
Everyone cheered as she started trotting with fancy steps. She was as much as a charmer than any other horse that they had ever seen. Other ponies would follow her doing their own thing excluding Moxie, the shy one of the group that stayed behind with the girls.
" I never thought I would be having so much fun here! It's really a great place if you love animals." Kayla was carrying the baby deer, Ella in her arms gently patting her. It was surprising but they seemed to have bonded when Elise introduced them.
" It was not intentional. Everything sort of happened on it's own but yeah, it's a great place to relax." He added.
" I wish I could stay here longer. It's quite peaceful seeing Elise getting along with everyone here."
" You are right. She really opened up a lot and even made some friends with other kids." Mayra chimed in.
" Friends?"
" You haven't even seen ten percent of what this place has to offer. After this, I think we should visit the main mansion. That's where most of his family lives." Mayra asked with a smile.
" I am nervous about it. Did you tell them that I was coming? Do they even know who I am?" Kayla became restless thinking about it.
" Of course, they know. I don't know whether they know about you coming here but they know who you are."
" That's doesn't make me feel good at all!"
They began discussing how to go around the awkwardness of the situation when she finally met up with his parents. From what she had read up online about the Rothschild family was that they were a secretive bunch.
But no one could deny the power they held over the country's economy. Even the few interviews his parents had done throughout the years always presented them as a proud people. She was worried how they would see her because they were in such an unconventional relationship.
Hannah and Elise were back feeling all giddy and excited. Just sitting on Sjors made one realize just how tall she was, one could look across the whole ranch without anything blocking their view. Samuel picked them up one by one and dropped them on the ground.
Other horses also started mingling with them which made the experience ten times better. Today was a sunny day and just after lunch, the sun was shining the brightest provided much needed warmth in cold winter.
They were chilling in the shade with the horses, when they were interrupted.
" Good evening, young master." It was Arthur who popped out of nowhere. He was only few people that was able to sneak up on Samuel without him noticing.
" Evening, what bring you here?" He asked.
" Well, we have some guests. I went to your house but you weren't there. Lady Amanda informed me that you were here so instead of waiting for you I decided to bring them here."
" Who?" Samuel turned back to see a middle aged couple entering Ranch. They were looking around curiously but when they saw him they started walking in their direction.
" Mom! Dad! When did you arrive?" Before he could greet them, Hannah ran toward them and hugged his mother. Carol and Aaron were glad to see that their daughter were doing okay.
Others also heard what Hannah called them so they instantly made themselves presentable by dusting off the hay and grass that were stuck on their clothes from rolling around with the horses and made their way toward Samuel.
" You should have call, I would have picked you up." He came forward and hugged his mother.
" We didn't want to bother you. I heard that you were pretty busy with your new movie." His father said as they hugged.
" Still-"
" Stop it. We are already here. I can see that you are having some sort of party here?" Carol asked looking around. She saw Adele and Iblis whom she had known for years.
" Aunt! It's so great to see you again." Adele leaped to her arms. It's been some time since they met.
" You don't even come to our restaurant anymore."
" That's because she had gotten famous recently." Iblis chuckled hugging them too.
" That may be but I know my daughter is not like that!"
" I am sorry. I have just busy with the new album."
" We understand. She had been promoting you to our patrons non stop. We are also planning to hold a small celebration when it finally get released in few months." Aaron added.
Arthur promptly arranged for some fancy sitting area by the time everyone greeted one another. Mayra and Kayla stayed back just observing, it was their first time meeting Hannah's parents. Mayra especially knew a lot about them from Samuel.
While Kayla was not much aware about Samuel's past, she had heard few things here and there when his name came up but she was completely in blind about what type of people they were.
" Hello, Mrs Carol. I heard a lot about you from Sami. My name is Mayra and this is my wife Kayla." She introduced herself tactfully. She was respectful because she knew Moore family was like a second home for Sami. There was also the problem how much they knew about theirs and his relationship.
