Chapter 21 Evangeline Hayes
Zack was walking back to his home with a small smile on his face. He had managed to prevent the companies from taking him with a bad contract.
However, this was only till the owners of the companies met him. In his previous life, the top player had personally met the owners of the companies and had signed a contract with Orange.
But that's where he had been trapped. The company took 50% of what he earned and he was not allowed to have certain people as his friends in-game.
He was also heavily monitored by the company and had become so depressed that he had committed suicide.
That was why Orange had been easily cut off from the list. As for Miscosoft, the company had signed a contract with the number two and number nine players. However, they had ended with similar contracts except the heavily monitored part was reduced to routinely monitored.
This only left as Telsa and Doogle as good options and Zack was going to wait for some while before signing contracts with these companies.
But in his mind, he had already decided on one of these companies.

The four representatives had reached their companies and had relayed Zack's demands to their higher-ups. The higher-ups in turn went to their higher-ups until the news was relayed to the secretary of the CEOs.
"So he wants to personally meet us huh. I have to say, the kid has guts to think that he will get the chance to meet all of us." The CEO of Telsa, a five feet eight inches man with black hair and small brown eyes said with a smile.
He looked in his thirties and had inherited the company from his father. The man had to admit that Zack had made the right decision by trying to communicate with those who he might work in the future with.
"Make some free time in my schedule and make sure that I meet him before Orange does." The man said to his secretary who left the place with a bow.
In the head office of Doogle, a woman was gazing out from the glass behind her. She was sitting at the top of a 70 story building and had to admit that the view was indeed worth all the hassle that had taken to build up her room.
"Come in." She said and turned back as her secretary walked inside the room.
"The top player has said that he wants to meet the representatives of all the companies before signing a contract. Would you like to go meet him, ma'am?" The secretary asked as she started sorting through the woman's schedule.
She had known the woman ever since she had been a toddler and now, she was twenty years and owned one of the biggest companies in the world.
"Hmm, he did exactly what I thought he would. Looks like he is aware that signing a bad deal would make his life worse. Can you please clear up my schedule Rachel?" The w0man stood up from her chair and turned around.
She gazed at the beautiful sight for one last time before she turned around and looked at Rachel.
"We are going to meet him right now. Is my disguise ready?"
"Yes, it is miss."
"How many times would I have to ask you to call me by my name?"
"As you say, Evangeline."
"Rachel…"
"All right Eva. You can change out of this suit and go make another deal." The secretary said with a sigh as the woman named Eva left the room with a small smile on her face.

Zack was still unaware that the owner of one of the world's biggest companies was coming to meet him.
He was currently sitting with his sis and was helping her study. Despite all the money that Zack would get, Mia still wanted to continue her studies.
And she could basically do that while being at home. Universities had after all started giving online classes to people who couldn't come to the university in person.
Mia was currently studying electrical engineering and she planned to join one of the biggest tech companies and work there.
Zack wouldn't call his sister a genius or a prodigy at anything but when it came to electronics and technology, Mia could most probably kick his ass in any subject.
But while they were studying, they heard the doorbell ring.
"Who could it be?" Mia asked while raising her eyes at Zack but the latter just shrugged. His sister then stood up and started making her way to the door.
At the same moment, a wild theory appeared in his mind
'What if someone from the store heard me talking to the receptionist and decided to follow me?' He immediately took a knife in his hand and hid it inside his clothes before following Mia.
he could see his sister opening the door and dashed forward to stand beside her.
Outside, they saw a young woman standing there with a curious expression.
"Are you the one named Zack?" Just like her looks, her voice sounded young too. But there was something about her voice that stood out to Zack.
He had heard the same voice before but he couldn't remember where.
"Yes, I am." He replied as the woman smiled and handed him a small white card.
"Would you like to go on a date with me Zack?" The young woman asked with a smile as Mia turned to stare at her brother with an amazed look.
"You never told me that you had an admirer." She said while raising her eyebrows.
'I also didn't know that I had an admirer.' Zack thought but didn't say out loud.
He instead looked down to read the card and froze.
'Evangeline Hayes. The CEO and owner of Doogle.' His eyes flickered over to the woman who still had a smile on her face. 'This woman…'
"So, yes or no?" Eva asked as she enjoyed the look on Zack's face. After all, she was used to such things happening.
He turned to look at his sister who gave him an encouraging nod. With no other option left, the boy sighed and nodded.
"Let's go on a date them."
