Chapter 537 - 537
Soo Yin immediately left with the taxi that had been ordered by her. Park Soo Hyun asked her to meet at an inn located in north of Seoul. An inn that still had the feel of a traditional Korean house.
At first Soo Yin didn't agree to meet at an inn but Park Soo Hyun insisted that he only wanted to meet there. Inevitably Soo Yin complied even though it was a little risky.
After arriving, Soo Yin immediately asked the receptionist about the whereabouts of the inn room number 10. It was a separate room from one another.
Soo Yin can only hope that Park Soo Hyun wouldn't do things like that time. But just in case, don't forget that Soo Yin had prepared a weapon in her bag.
Soo Yin immediately knocked on the door after arriving. On it was written room number 10. Until not long after, there was the sound of footsteps walking outside.
"Come in," said Park Soo Hyun as he pulled the door wide open.
"Let's just talk outside," Soo Yin said flatly.
There were two chairs neatly arranged on the terrace of the room. Soo Yin pulled one out then sat there because her legs hurt if she had to talk while standing up.
Park Soo Hyun followed and sat on one of the chairs. Their current position was opposite each other. But Soo Yin looked the other way.
"Soo Yin, I really miss you," said Park Soo Hyun without any shame.
Soo Yin rolled her eyes at her brother-in-law's words.
"Watch your words, don't talk nonsense if you want to stay alive," threatened Soo Yin firmly.
"I heard you're in a relationship with Gong Yoo, is that true?" Park Soo Hyun accused with a probing look.
"It's up to you if you choose to believe in them. The most important thing is that Dae Hyun trusts me more," said Soo Yin.
"Can you not talk about him now?" said Park Soo Hyun while chuckling in annoyance. He didn't like Soo Yin talking about Dae Hyun in front of him.
"Okay, then we'll talk about the reason I wanted to see you." Soo Yin turned to the side, facing Park Soo Hyun with a probing gaze.
"Say it," said Park Soo Hyun calmly.
"Are you a coward and irresponsible man now?" Soo Yin quipped without wanting to stall for more time.
"What do you mean?" Park Soo Hyun then clenched his fists tightly. There was anger that began to ripple through his body.
"What did you do to Jean?" Soo Yin said in a rising voice. If she didn't hold back her anger, maybe Soo Yin would have pounded the table.
Park Soo Hyun sighed heavily. Jean was Soo Yin's close friend so it was natural for her to know everything.
"It was just a mistake. All I remembered that night was you not Jean. Besides, it was just an accident," said Park Soo Hyun in order to escape from the responsibility.
"A mistake?" Soo Yin stood up as her chest tightened with emotion.
"I was drunk at the time so I didn't notice. Why are you blaming me?" Park Soo Hyun said.
"Then who should I blame if Jean is pregnant with your child? Where is your real conscience?" Soo Yin exclaimed in a loud voice but finally weakened in fear if the guests at the inn were disturbed by her.
"It all happened because you rejected me. If you weren't with Dae Hyun maybe I wouldn't have gone to the bar to get drunk. It's all your fault," said Park Soo Hyun with great emphasis.
Soo Yin closed her eyes for a while to calm her heart. Didn't want to let the goal of meeting Park Soo Hyun instead will only make their family relationship tenuous.
"Soo Hyun, love can't be forced. I can't possibly love you because I already had your brother long before I met you." Soo Yin softened her tone. Hoped that her brother-in-law can understand everything.
"You're right that love can't be forced. That's why I can't be with Jean," said Park Soo Hyun.
"Your case is different, don't you feel sorry for the child growing up without a father? Why are you such a selfish man? Luckily I don't like you, if I chose you maybe my fate would be the same as Jean," said Soo Yin while gritting her teeth hard.
"I've asked her to abort the fetus but she still insists on taking care of it. It's not my fault if the child is born without a father," said Park Soo Hyun lightly and there was no regret at all in his words.
"Soo Hyun, you are such a coward and bastard!" cursed Soo Yin who had stood up then grabbed the man's collar.
"If you want to kill me then do it. I'm willing to die in your hands. It's useless for me to live in this world because there is no longer someone who inspires me in my life. The girl I love chose to be with my brother," said Park Soo Hyun in a sad tone. It made Soo Yin let go of her hand which was on Park Soo Hyun's neck collar.
"Just so you know that Jean has loved you for a long time. She's a good girl so you shouldn't waste her when you've ruined her life. When other people want to have children with difficulty but why is there a human like you in this world who doesn't have a father's conscience. Just so you know a good woman will not want to abort her pregnancy. It is a gift that is entrusted by God that should be guarded. Think carefully before you regret it. It's up to you to believe me or not. If you really don't want to be responsible, hopefully the child can get a father who is more than his biological father," Soo Yin explained at length, hoping that Park Soo Hyun would change his mind and realize that what he did was wrong.
Park Soo Hyun finally fell silent hearing Soo Yin's words that touched his heart a little.
"It's late, I should go home," said Soo Yin flatly then turned to leave.
Park Soo Hyun just watched Soo Yin's back which was no longer visible.
