Hidden Wife : Best Husband

Chapter 516 - 516 - Flower Restaurant

Dae Hyun took Soo Yin to a place that will become their restaurant. Everything was neatly arranged. Only the opening ceremony and the inauguration which were planned to be opened tonight. Didn't want to delay too long because everything had been prepared almost one hundred percent by Chang Yuan.

"Why did we come here?" Soo Yin said while observing the building in front of her. They were still in the car.

"Now get off first, later you will also find out," said Dae Hyun then got out of the car.

Soo Yin continued to observe the building from the outside until she accidentally saw someone inside.

"Jean," Soo Yin mumbled with a gleam on her face because if she remembered, it had been a while since she had seen her best friend. They met when Jean was still in the hospital.

Soo Yin first walked ahead of Dae Hyun with her eyes fixed on the inside of the building that could be seen from the outside. Her eyes immediately widened when she saw the rows of chairs neatly arranged with a table in the middle.

"Honey, is this our restaurant?" guessed Soo Yin with great excitement.

"Hmm," said Dae Hyun while nodding his head. His heart was touched when he saw Soo Yin's shining face.

"What is the name of this restaurant?" Soo Yin said while walking towards Jean.

"Is Flower Restaurant good?" Dae Hyun said for Soo Yin to judge. The name was made because Soo Yin really liked flowers and suited the theme.

"Of course," said Soo Yin with a nod of her head.

The restaurant took the theme of natural beauty so that in some corners Dae Hyun asked his men to put some beautiful flower trees. The place was also designed to make visitors comfortable.

Didn't forget to also make Soo Yin feel at home and happy because the outside of the restaurant was already filled with many flower plants.

Soo Yin then sped up her steps towards her best friend then hugged her so tightly.

"Jean, I missed you so much."

"Soo Yin, don't be too tight. I can't breathe," said Jean whose chest felt very tight from Soo Yin's embrace.

"Sorry, I'm just too happy that I finally got to see you again after a few days," Soo Yin said as she loosened her hug.

"Jean, are you not feeling well? Your face looks pale," added Soo Yin while observing Jean's face which didn't look like how it usually did. Her lips were colorless and her cheekbones were now clearly visible.

"No, I'm really fine. I just haven't had an appetite for the past few days," said Jean. She didn't even know what had happened to her.

"Jean, let's go to the doctor. I don't want anything to happen to you," Soo Yin said in a sad tone.

"I'm really fine. Maybe it's because of the bad weather that my appetite has decreased." Jean widened her smile so that Soo Yin could believe that she was fine now.

"Well, since when did you come here?" Soo Yin said curiously because her husband didn't even say that their restaurant was there.

"I've been here for a week to help Assistant Chang get everything ready," said Jean.

"How is your relationship?" said Soo Yin, wanting to find out if Jean had forgotten about Park Soo Hyun.

"What relationship?" asked Jean, not understanding.

"Did assistant Chang say something to you?" whispered Soo Yin with a seductive smile.

Jean answered honestly by shaking her head.

"Too bad," Soo Yin muttered quietly.

"What are you really thinking?" accused Jean because it seemed that Soo Yin was thinking about something else.

"I thought Assistant Chang has been telling you how he feels," said Soo Yin, grinning as she scratched the back of her head.

"Soo Yin, stop thinking like that. Assistant Chang never likes me so it's impossible to say anything about his feelings," Jean said with a heavy sigh then lowered her face down.

'How can assistant Chang want a girl who has been stained like her,' Jean said to herself with a tight feeling in her chest. Every night she had to experience insomnia because she had hallucinations of how painful that night was.

"Jean?" Soo Yin put her palm in front of Jean's face because she was daydreaming.

"Did I say something wrong?" Soo Yin regretted teasing her because it seemed that until now Jean hadn't forgotten Park Soo Hyun.

"Ah, no. We'd better get back to work because tonight the restaurant will officially open," said Jean so that Soo Yin wouldn't think of something bad.

"Tonight? Is there a chef already? Dae Hyun didn't even tell me at all. I really feel useless as a wife," Soo Yin said while pursing her lips.

"Don't be angry, maybe Mr. Dae Hyun wants to surprise you so he doesn't say anything," said Jean to give understanding to her friend who was still unstable. Didn't want to let them fight just because of a misunderstanding.

"Maybe, I should follow him inside," said Soo Yin and then turned her body to see where her husband was at this time.

Soo Yin looked around the restaurant, it turned out that Dae Hyun was standing in the corner while calling someone so Soo Yin then approached him.

Dae Hyun was heard chatting with a man. He then turned to Soo Yin when he saw her coming then grabbed her waist from the side.

"Then don't forget that you have to come tonight," said Dae Hyun then hung up the phone.

"Who are you talking to?" said Soo Yin curiously and very intrusive.

"Don't be jealous and angry because I just contacted my friend who just came back from abroad. He is looking for a job in Seoul as a chef. It so happens that our restaurant is in need, so I asked him to work here," explained Dae Hyun.

"Who's jealous? I just want to know who you contacted," said Soo Yin, narrowing her eyes.

"You liar," said Dae Hyun then pinched Soo Yin's cheeks because he was very excited about his little wife.

"By the way, what menus are available here?" Soo Yin asked. She was so inexperienced that she didn't know what the diners liked.

"The main food is seafood but you can add whatever you like to the menu," said Dae Hyun.

"If we follow my preferences, maybe I will like all kinds of food," said Soo Yin while chuckling because she did eat everything.

"So what category are you in?" Dae Hyun teased.

"I'm an omnivore who eats all kinds," said Soo Yin, followed by a crisp laugh from her lips.

Jean, who was still standing not far from where they were, was very jealous of the warmth that Dae Hyun and Soo Yin had created. If she may ask, she also wanted to live together like those who were happy even though there were so many obstacles.

Jean only smiled bitterly because there was no way she would live worthy of having a husband like the others. The person she loved did not want her while she was already tainted.. It felt like living happily like them was just a wishful thinking.
