Chapter 168 - Second Encounter
>SHUUUUUUU<
The darkness dissipated and got absorbed into my Treasure, which in turn became integrated with my body.
"You never had a chance, to begin with. Fool" I mumbled.
Now then, it's time to begin with what I intended from the start.
I closed my eyes and used one of my many Abilities.
"Memory Intrusion"
Instantly, I felt my consciousness get pulled into a deep abyss. The familiar feeling of venturing into strange territory, one which the ruler was one other than a god, returned to me
"YOU'RE BACK… WHAT A SURPRISE"
I smiled as I heard the overly imposing voice permeating around the endless seas of darkness.
"Of course, I said I would, didn't I?" I responded.
"….."
The artificial god kept silent, as though pondering on my sudden arrival. It must have sensed something was wrong.
"Is this how you welcome me after our last discussion? How cold…" I said, feigning a hurt expression.
"YOU ARE DIFFERENT SOMEHOW… SOMETHING ABOUT YOU HAS CHANGED…" The god mentioned.
So it has finally noticed.
"YOU'RE STRONGER NOW… EVEN MORE THAN I AM. WHAT DID YOU DO? WHO ARE YOU?" It reacted.
In its entire existence, I'm sure this God has never encountered any being stronger than it other than the Primordials.
To be confronted by me, in its mindscape, the nervousness this entity must feel should be overwhelming.
"The last time we met, you mentioned how easily you could dispose of me. Why don't you try saying that now?" I said.
"….." The god kept quiet.
That's right. It's good to be flustered. The mindscape is one of the most vulnerable points of any being. Sure, their presence is felt even more, and the entire realm is dominated by the owner of the mindscape. But, that also means their core existence is exposed.
If a stronger being comes into contact with the mindscape of another, they could easily kill the being with nearly zero resistance.
"W-WHAT DO YOU WANT…?!" The artificial god asked.
"Why are you so flustered? I just want to talk…" I replied calmly.
Of course, I intend to do more than that.
"Why don't we conclude our previous conversation? About the Primordials… And Hexarion"
The god kept silent once again. It seems It's still contemplating what to do. It's not like there's much of a choice here.
"UNDERSTOOD. HOWEVER, I DO NOT SEE A POINT TO THIS CONVERSATION, OR HOW IT BENEFITS YOU." The artificial god spoke.
"When last we spoke, you told me you didn't know your purpose. Yet, from the way you talked, you clearly seem interested in the Primordial of the Void, nearly to the point of obsession" I responded.
"Wouldn't you say those questions have formed some sort of yearning within you? Purpose is all about finding answers to the questions that pervade you."
The god was quiet as I spoke, appearing to be contemplating my words.
"ARE YOU INSINUATING MY CURIOSITY CONCERNING THE PRIMORDIAL, HEXARION, COULD BECOME A DRIVING FORCE FOR MY PURPOSE?" The artificial god asked.
I nodded, pleased that it was catching on.
"THEN IT WILL BE UNFORTUNATE IF THAT IS THE CASE. HEXARION WAS VANQUISHED BY HIS SIBLINGS, MY CREATORS. AS THERE IS NO WAY TO FULFIL THAT YEARNING, THAT CAN ONLY LEAD ME TO DESPAIR" It stated.
Well then, time to drop the bombshell.
"Not necessarily. The answer you seek is right before you, or within you…"
Yes. That would be a more apt definition to this.
The god seemed puzzled by my words, holding suspicion within, but refused to show it.
"It forgets I'm in its mindscape… Hiding emotions from me is useless" I smiled to myself.
I couldn't read this being the last time since it was far more powerful than I was. But now… Doing stuff like reading its mind is nothing.
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY THAT? ARE YOU SAYING YOU…"
"Yes. I am Hexarion, Primordial Of The Void." I grinned.
My voice echoed in the large expanse, after which followed dead silence. The silence was tense as I waited for the reaction of the entity I invaded.
"THAT IS IMPOSSIBLE… YOU CAN NOT BE HIM." It answered.
Sigh. Are we really going to do this?
"THE PRIMORDIAL, HEXARION, WAS DESTROYED BY THE OTHER PRIMORDIALS. BESIDES, I DO NOT SENSE AN OUNCE OF THE VOID ASPECT WITHIN YOU. NOW THAT I THINK OF IT… I SENSE NO ASPECT FROM YOU. THIS POWER, THIS FEELING YOU GIVE OFF… YOU'RE DEFINITELY STRANGE" The artificial god mumbled, half arguing with me, while also talking to itself.
It's conflicted by my words. Even if it seems nearly unbelievable, the curiosity that has welled up within it makes a fragment of its existence want to trust in my words.
"Nothing is impossible. And I am the very personification of nothing. Therefore… Your words 'That is Impossible' are accurate. I am the impossible" I declared.
Immediately, in my astral form, I raised my hand and snapped. In an instant, the endless space brightened up, and the darkness began to disperse.
"W-WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU-YOU'RE DOING?!" The god protested.
"Flustered, uh? No matter, it's time to put an end to this charade."
As the darkness cleared entirely, everywhere became white, just like Blank Canvas. Standing directly before me was a being covered in gold as it shimmered.
Its figure resembled a woman, having long golden hair as its voluptuous figure was covered in bright gold.
The golden woman appeared embarrassed, covering her face in mortification. Her body trembled as she made silent sobs.
"Y-you… How Could You…!"
The deep commanding tone of the voice shrunk, revealing a tiny melodious voice.
I smiled as I watched the entity I have been conversing with throbbing in shame.
"So this is your true form, how amusing. To think you were female" I teased.
"Do You Not Have Any Regard At All. I May Be A Failed Venture, But I Am Still A God. You Dare Unclothe Me… Who Are-"
"I have disrobed many gods in the past, most of which have had far tempting bodies compared to yours. Though, I have to say… You're not bad. Above average, at least" I commented.
"Y-you Fiend!" She said in frustrated anger.
Her composed demeanor has disappeared. This is what happens when one is suddenly unclothed this way. The endless darkness in her mindscape was to prevent me from seeing her true form. It must have been embarrassing to the point that she had to deepen her voice when talking to me within her veil.
But now, everything is out in the open. Her voice trembled as she squeaked and cried in embarrassment.
I personally don't see this as a big deal, but since she has never experienced something like this before, I suppose it's a natural reaction.
"Stop Your Lies! You May Be Peculiar, But No One Is Capable Of These Grand Words. The Only Ones Who Can Do Such Are The Primordials. And You Are Not-" She protested, still hesitant to believe me.
"I am Hexarion! And you, from this moment on… You have two options. You can come with me now and discover your purpose, or rot in here forever." I spoke in a commanding tone, interrupting her words.
Of course, I don't plan to let her live if she refuses to obey me. Her existence is far too dangerous even if she's of no threat to my current self.
If this god isn't on my side… She'll die.
"W-well… When You Put It That Way… I Suppose I Have No Choice. You'll Kill Me If I Refuse, Won't You?" She mumbled, slowly raising her face to look at me.
She's a sharp one. Good, I expect nothing less from a god. With memory fragments from each of the Primordials who contributed to her birth, she should be able to grasp how our kind sees things.
"I Understand… I Will Listen To You, For Now. As Long As You Truly Are Hexarion, Then I-i… I Don't Mind" She said shyly.
"Raise your head then. You can do that much, can't you?" I commanded.
Loosening her hand which clasped around her face, the artificial god slowly raised her face and revealed the beautiful look.
Her eyes were large, filled with golden sparks that seemed endless. While her entire self was golden, her face had a lighter tint, with her cheeks having darker shade due to her blushing. Her nose was small, her lips as well, pursed together awkwardly.
Her round eyes darted around, confused about what to do.
Those damn bastards… They were really striving for perfection when they made this being, weren't they?
Her figure is above average compared to the other gods, but her face is definitely among the top class.
"You're beautiful… Do you have a name?" I said with a soft smile, moving closer to her.
"U-uh… What are you saying…?" She muttered, looking away, shyly.
"I… I don't…"
Oh, no name. What a shame, but I suppose this is also a good opportunity.
Her figure is so well proportioned. Excellent.
In her nude form, I was able to observe every portion of her body. To the last detail.
"It's been a while… I can't wait…" I said with an excited smile.
