Chapter 100 100.The Turnout
Like that, a week had passed and the time of the arranged duel drew near.
In this past week Lucius wasn't idle he had trained harshly and what also brought him a pleasant surprise was that with the development of his new talent and the addition of The High king's blood in his body, his strength and physique had directly entered into that of 3rd class fighter and his man had also made similar growths.
The blood of the high king plus Alice's perfect healing at all times made it almost like he was doping.
Alice's healing meant he could be perfectly healed no matter how hard he pushed his body.
And the blood of the high king and dragon mixed together gave his physical body excellent potential, all he had to do was squeeze it all out.
So after several days of ardent fighting, Lucius could confidently say that he had squeezed out enough potential that the previous him could now be dealt with easily

As he looked at his status panel the smile on Lucius's face couldn't be contained
From the time he left for the academy to now, several weeks had passed and his strength had directly doubled as all of his stats had broken through into 3rd class at a very minimum. This even included his Mana which was flat out zero before all of this.
Such a rate of progress was simply crazy. Although it was all because Lucius could cheat by transforming the blood of some of the strongest beings in this world into his talents it was still impressive regardless.
Clenching his fists, Lucius could feel his new power coursing through his body.
With this newfound power, he was confident that I matter what Lucius could throw at him, he would bury that bastard's face in the dirt!
...
A few seconds later, Lucius who had changed into his uniform, could be seen walking through the academy hallways towards the arena.
As he did so he didn't pay even the slightest bit of attention to all of this and remained focused.
He had already told Veronica, Alice and Camilla not to wait for him beforehand and just enter the stands
One of the reasons he did this was because He didn't want any of them to worry. Even if he resisted them a thousand times already it would soon devolve into their worried ramblings after all, even eight the strength he'd shown, fighting a third year was nothing short of suicide.
The only one who had some inkling of his current strength was Veronica but even she wasn't optimistic. She was still yet to see his Dragon Berserk in full operation after all.
Lucius didn't want to deal with such worrying.
After all, no matter how much he had prepared beforehand this was still a fight after all, and unless you were God, you couldn't confidently say with 100% certainty that you'd predicted everything. To avoid such mistakes he could only maintain his concentration at 100% and treat this enemy with everything that he had!
Taking a deep breath, Lucius paused before the large doors to the arena for a few seconds before walking inside.
As soon as Lucius came to the Academy arena he couldn't help but gasp.
The indoor auditorium was massive, easily capable of filling thousands of people.
And although thousands of people hadn't arrived at the scene, at least hundreds off students were present.
As Lucius walked inside the gazes of everyone present gathered onto him.
This was the first time he was the centre of so many people at once and at this point, even the usually confident Lucius couldn't help but freeze up for a while.
Although he was slightly nervous, Lucius knew he couldn't appear weak and just took a deep breath and walked up to the stage.
As Lucius walked up he couldn't help but be a little awed at the amount of people that came to watch this duel.
Because of the rumours at hand and Xander's influence, He had been expecting a lot of people but this still surpassed all his expectations.
Lucius had greatly underestimated the boredom and curiosity of these people.
Unbeknownst to him, thanks to the crazy rumours about him, Lucius had become somewhat of a celebrity inside of Sanctuary so by now it was easy for any of his affairs to draw attention.
To make things more interesting he wasn't just fighting anybody but a capable third year fighter who had already made somewhat of a name for himself. To anybody who heard it l. It sounded straight up ridiculous.
so it was not just first years that showed up but second years, and even a few of the usually busy third years showed up to see their fellow class man crush this arrogant junior.
The rumours of broken engagements, vows of duels and battles against in-laws and brothers were like something out of a play.
For the people of this world that only have some romantic plays and stories at entertainment, this was like seeing one in real life.
Fighting for your love! Fighting for your romance! Is this not what youth is all about?
So with these mountains of circumstances all out together, even if Xander wasn't there to fan the flames the turnout would have still been ridiculous.
As Lucius was having these thoughts he quietly scanned the crowd and saw a lot of familiar faces.
A lot of his classmates were there and of course, Camilla, Alice and Veronica were there as well. The three were all sitting next to each other.
Unsurprisingly, Landon was also there and as their eyes met, he just nodded towards Lucius slightly, which Lucius also returned.
Seeing this, Lucius couldn't help but feel a little weird.
