Chapter 231  Chapter 230-The Weird Uncle.

"Where are my cute nephew and niece?"

Max Ai, the man bearing a close resemblance to Guo Ai, entered inside the room, his eyes boring into Azrail's as a happy smile filled his face, the man soon appeared right beside Azrail to place a light kiss on his forehead as he spoke.

"My... my look at this, looks like the family's good looks have been fully passed on!"

Max's voice spread across the room, as he stood tall with pride, Azrail slowly washing away his forehead as he spoke.

"It's good to see you too, uncle."

As he said so, he could see his grandfather and grandmother shaking their heads with a wry smile filling their faces, even Kia was looking forth with an exasperated face as she spoke.

"Elder brother, can't you see we are eating, at least keep that decorum!"

Her voice seemed to fall on deaf ears, though the moment the cold voice of Yun fell, Max shriveled up.

"Looks like you are in need of some training for good mental growth."

These words seemed like the order from the king of hell itself to Max as he comically turned around to meet his older sister with pleading eyes as he spoke.

"Please, sis! Be lenient! I was just excited from having known you were here!"

"Then why did I not hear you missing me from your mouth? Also, why did it feel like to me that you were avoiding me?"

These questions back to back hitting right at the mark but seemingly having grown thick skin, Max quickly recovered, a shocked look blooming on his face as he spoke back.

"How can that be?! It really was an emergency, or else I would have rushed back to meet you first, sis! I swear!"

Seeing his uncle act like a trembling dog in front of his mother, Azrail couldn't help but shake his head in disbelief. It's a good fact that the servants are outside, or else the complete status of his uncle would have been fully ruined, though from what Azrail could remember, it's already a very weird reputation for his uncle. The man itself fears his mother more than the judgment of the heavens themselves.

'I also wonder, what kind of shit did he go through to be so... well trained.'

Azrail, for a moment, even thought of having his mother train all the other ones under his control cause make no mistake from all the actions that Max makes, he is no wimp, and even above that, he is not a dumb person. Anyone who thinks and works with that assumption would only have a living hell waiting for them at the end.

'You seem to have a very unique uncle,' Valencia spoke, she not knowing how to put it forth better, to this the same wry smile his grandparents had on their face blooming in Azrail's as he responded.

'Well, let's just say that he has more than what meets the eye.'

Though the moment Azrail replied like that, he ended up having to see his uncle now on the floor clutching to his mother's legs and crying out.

"Oh no! Please! Not the devil's devil death training! Anything but that!"

The tears of the man who looked to be in his 20s but really is in his 40s flooded the floor, and unlucky for Azrail, he seemed to meet his eyes with Valencia at the moment, her face screaming.

What the hell am I watching?

To this Azrail could only pretend to cough as he saw his mother kick away his uncle with a disappointed look, the whole atmosphere in the room turning a bit awkward.

'Where did the grand energy for that entrance go? Oh... how I wish I could now control time, just to turn back time a bit.'

While Azrail mused about those options, Max quickly dusted himself up, he clearing his throat as he spoke out loud.

"Cough... sorry about that, I had just almost shit my pants because of fear."

'Oh please shut that mouth!'

While Azrail thought that, he could see that it was the same thought flowing through the minds of his relatives, his grandparents with flushed faces looking to the sky with lost expressions, his aunt Kia covering her face out of embarrassment, while the rest just looked on with confusing gazes all around. But Max seemed to be unaffected by all that as he jumped to Xuanyin, her cheeks already in Max's hands as he spoke.

"Ohhh... look at these cheeks, I just want to keep pulling at that!"

To this, Xuanyin started to hit back at Max's hands with all her strength though sadly for Xuanyin all of them felt like little love taps to the giant man, who just laughed at the cute display in front of him.

Slap!

"Now stop bullying my daughter and take a seat."

Yun spoke, having slapped off Max's hands, the man letting out a disappointed sigh as he took a seat, though seeing this Azrail felt a pang of pity for the man, not due to his mother's action but due to the thoughts running in Xuanyin's mind right now, cause this little eccentric uncle of Azrail's will definitely be getting a royal beatdown once Xuanyin starts her journey to power.

'Rest in peace uncle, rest in peace.' n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om

To his prayer, Azrail could see Max trembling a bit in his seat, the man looking around the room as he spoke out.

"The hell, is anyone churning this handsome man out there?"

Once again to his slow shiver, the rest of the family could only shake their heads, Yun taking the lead as she introduced Max to Raena.

"Sigh... this idiot here is my brother, the future head of the Ai family."

As she pointed out, Max looked at Raena with a toothy grin, flashing those white teeth of his as he spoke.

"Hey there, how you doin'?"

Seeing this, Azrail shook his head while Raena, the very crazy one looked on with a confused look, she turned to Yun as she asked.

"Will the Ai family be okay in the future?"

To this question, even Azrail's grandparents couldn't go forth to say anything, thus turning his attention away from Raena, Max focused his eyes on the veiled Valencia as he peered into her face, a few moments later Max turned to look at Azrail giving him a thumbs up as he spoke.

"Nice catch! Looks like all the techniques of wooing girls I taught you has worked out."

The man boasted.

'But you are still single uncle.'

Azrail went to speak that out but in respect to the poor man's heart, Azrail kept silent, cause this time he didn't have to say anything, his eyes falling onto his mother who seems to be a little pissed as she spoke.

"Did you really go forth to teach those stupid things to my son?! Those things that have kept girls farther away from you than perhaps the most powerful curse of virginity out there?!"

'Uff... ow.'

Azrail thought, seeing his uncle almost freeze up, the man seemingly having become a frozen statue from Azrail's mother's words, Azrail could see the bubbling emotions within his uncle, though for now, he would have to deal with his mother's wrath.

'Once again uncle, rest in peace or better pieces.'

Azrail prayed.
