Chapter 53: Three Potions
Chapter 53: Three Potions
"Sir, please, let me go. That money was given by my father to do some important work." The boy looked at Ayaan with his teary eyes.
However, Ayaan didn't reply; he just extended his hand towards him before saying, "Are you going to give me that pouch on your own or you need me to do that?"
Although the boy still wanted to continue his begging, he swallowed his words when he looked at Ayaan's dark-black eyes. He felt as if he was looking at the vicious beast looking at him, and if he tested his patience any further, beast would rip his head off from his shoulder.
The boy struggled for a few seconds but finally took out a pouch of golds from beneath his clothes.
Afterwards, he extended his hands and gave the pouch to Ayaan Ayaan took the pouch in his hand and bounced it slowly in his hand. Then, he smiled before saying to the boy, "Hmmm, not bad. This pouch has about a hundred gold coins, and it is enough to compensate for our losses. You can go now."
The boy felt even more miserable when he heard about his hundred gold coins. Hundred gold coins weren't a small amount not even for someone who was the captain in the royal palace because their overall salary was just about a few hundred golds.
Anyways, Ayaan didn't care about the boy and didn't give a shit about his situation. If someone had the guts to cause trouble for him, they should also bear its consequences.
Finally, the boy exited the shop with a teary face and didn't look back at the devil standing behind him. When he came out of the shop, he didn't stop; instead, he increased his speed, and even more, tears started to fall from his eyes.
Even the surrounding people who looked at his gloomy appearance felt surprised. He was the son of the guard captain who was rather famous in the capital. Who would dare to beat the son of the guard captain?
Finally, they turned towards the shop and looked at the 'Heavenly Potion Shop' and immediately understood it.
Only a few people had seen Ayaan summoning the creatures. Therefore, most people didn't know about it, and those few people who heard about him being a summoner didn't believe in the rumours.
That was the only reason why that boy dared to cause trouble inside Ayaan's shop.
When everyone was deep in thought, Ayaan came out of his shop with Rebecca. He looked at the surrounding people in which some were just customers while some were workers in the shops.
"Hello, everyone!" When everyone was looking at Ayaan in confusion, his booming voice echoed in the surrounding area, attracting everyone's gaze.
Finally, when everyone's attention was on Ayaan, he again spoke, "As everyone knows that my shop is a potion shop, not even a single potion shop is present in the capital right now. By this, you can imagine how hard it is to become a potion maker, and today my shop will introduce three potions!"
As the surrounding people heard about the potions, their eyes started to shine. Potion making was one of the most profitable businesses in this world, and it was not profitable only because the potion makers were rare, but it was due to the demand for potions.
Every potion was very precious for the mage. It could become a life-saving item at the time of danger, or some of the potions even increase the level of mages directly, while some of them could help mages improve their comprehension for a certain amount of time.
Ayaan looked at the people's reaction and continued with a smiling face, "We have already started to sell two types of potions the healing potion and a magic replenishing potion. Both the potions are for junior mage and below.
Healing magic could heal all types of wounds, poisons, or even low-level curses. While the magic replenishing potion could replenish at least fifty percent of the magic of the junior mage and a hundred percent of the novice mage."
The more people heard, the more excited they became. Having that kind of healing potion was like akin to have a second life, especially for those adventurer mages, who usually go to the wild and hunt for the beasts.
Adventurers usually encounter poisonous beasts in the wild. Due to those encounters, they would lose a few of their members in their party. But after getting this healing potion, they could avoid most of the unnecessary deaths.
As for the magic replenishing potion, it was equally useful to any mage. They could replenish their magic energy amidst the enemy's fight or escape from a powerful opponent. At that time, this magic replenishing potion would become a life-saving potion.
Both the potions were useful for most of the mages. Therefore, Ayaan had placed these two potions in his shop. He already had other formulas, but he still chose them because he knew these two potions would bring him most of the benefits and would make his shop famous throughout the capital.
Finally, when the surroundings started to calm down again, Ayaan's voice echoed, "Now, I think everyone knows the benefits these potions would bring for you."
As Ayaan said, he looked at the people's excited faces and nodded in satisfaction before continuing, "Previously, I told you the benefits of the potions; now, it's time to talk about the price."
When everyone heard about the price, the surrounding became dead silence because the potions' cost was something that would decide if they would be able to enjoy these potions in the future.
Ayaan looked at the people's worried faces and replied, "Don't worry, I think the potions' price is very reasonable, and most of the people present here would be able to enjoy these potions."
At this moment, no one spoke anything and waited for Ayaan to finish. Almost everyone was looking at Ayaan as if he was about to tell them the king's decree.
